Thanks to an email from James Eatock, we have news that there are now several original G1 Production Art pages that have been posted by Eatock himself, and that now several are up for auction on Ebay! These original Production arts feature characters that showed up in the Sunbow cartoon, and feature some pretty neat things, such as the 1983 (you did read that right) design for Bumblebee and the original art for Mirage, before his show look was finalized and changed fairly significantly.
Most of the art pieces are just for show now, but there are 6 pieces that have currently made their way to Ebay, and include shots of Prowl, Ravage, and some scenery used in the show. The current auctions also include over 200 other art pages from other shows, are available and up for Auction on Ebay, with all the auctions ending on Sunday.
Check them out some of the highlighted Transformers art below, and let us know what you think of these Production art pieces, and if you intend to bid on this historical pieces that are on Ebay, or may make their way to Ebay soon!
A soda company by the name Bily y Maik is made a commercial using some CGI to illustrate Transformers characters. We have mirrored it below so that you can watch it if you would like. It is not in English seeing as the Bily y Maik company is from Chile. It is pretty straight forwards but we would like to point out at the end of the video the announcer explains that people can participate in a contest for prizes by entering the code of your Bilz and Pap edition Transfomers caps at http://www.bilzypap.cl/transfomers . That link does not seem to work for me, but I am in the USA so perhaps if you are in a qualifying country it will work for you.
It is that time of year again folks, the time of year when we get ready to vote for this year's nominees for the Transformers Hall of Fame! This announcement is to let everyone know that from now up until June 29 the Hall of Fame is open to nominees for Favorite Transformers Character and for the 2018 Toy of the Year. The nominee cannot be someone who has already been inducted, and you can see a list below along with the nominee information.
So get your nominees in and let us know who you think deserves to be in the Hall of Fame next!
Hi Transformers fans!
It’s that time again to make your voice heard in the Transformers Hall of Fame vote for 2018! Hasbro is asking fans to help nominate inductees into the Transformers Hall of Fame within two categories. The categories are:
· FAVORITE TRANSFORMERS CHARACTER (Fictional Robot Character)
· 2018 TRANSFORMERS HASBRO TOY OF THE YEAR
As you know, no characters who have already been inducted within the ‘Favorite Character’ category will be considered for nomination. A list of inducted characters can be found at the bottom of this email.
The new category ‘Transformers Toy of the Year’ was introduced in 2017 to provide fans an opportunity to share their passion for the figures that have been the heartbeat of the brand for over 30 years. This category will continue in 2018 and is meant to celebrate the new product within the calendar year and the ongoing efforts of the Hasbro Transformers team to fulfill the desires of our many fans around the world with innovative and exciting toys. All nominations for this category must be toys newly released by Hasbro in 2018 and can include figures that have not yet hit shelves in the calendar year, but have been announced.
We ask that you poll your readers to determine the characters they wish to be considered for each category of the Transformers Hall of Fame and share your Top 3 nominees for each category (six nominees total) including the number of votes with us no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, June 29th.
Please rank your outlet’s polling results list in order of who received the most votes for each category. All polling result lists will be combined together, each outlet getting an equal voice. The combined values will be used to generate the final ballot of three choices for each category. Details will follow regarding the official voting process in the coming weeks.
Winners of the final polling will be announced at SDCC during the official Transformers brand panel on Thursday, July 19th at 11am in Room 29AB.
As a reminder, below are the previous inductees into the Hall of Fame. If you have any questions about eligibility, feel free to reach out.
Roll out!

As an update to the Takara Tomy Quad Barrelled Shotgun campaign story which we first covered here, we now have in hand images of the tiny tiny Optimus Prime colour-themed gun, as seen in the Transformers: The Last Knight scenes in which Optimus attacks Bumblebee - shown in the promotional images as being wielded by the Studio Series version of the figure, which is closer to Revenge of the Fallen.
The Shotgun is part of a promotional Takara Tomy campaign that sees a purchase of 4000 Yen in the specified period (from 21st April) granting you the accessory. The images come from Singapore based Facebook page Planet Iacon, and have been mirrored for your viewing convenience - check them out!
Welcome fellow Seibertronians to another round of the Seibertron.com Transformers Photo Challenge. Every challenge has a theme and suggested guidelines to follow. To participate, just post your pictures in the discussion below. The TFPC is just about having fun and is for all skill levels. You can find previous challenges listed HERE.
To find some inspiration, or to continue the fun of posting your figures in all kinds of fun places and poses, check out our Awesome Pictures and Poses Thread.
Now onto the challenge. The newest challenge will take advantage of the primary gimmick of pretty much every transformers toy ever: transformation. The challenge is to take a transform, any transformer, and capture the moment of them converting from one mode to another. The entries can take the form of a single mid-transformation picture to a storyboard like collage of the robot going from mode to mode, and it doesn't even need to just be between only 2 modes!
The rules are simple:
1) Any transformers figure of any age or origin can partake in the challenge. 3rd Party figures are accepted in the challenge.
2) the figure involved must be shifting modes. Entries should not be just a shot of robot and alt modes.
And that is all! You can find a pair of examples below, using Beast Wars Dinobot 2 and Silverbolt, provided by yours truly.
Now it's time to challenge your fellow Seibertronians to set up their bots and show you what they gots
Thanks to a post on Dengeki Hobby, we have news that there is a new Takara Tomy campaign happening, this time for a chance to own a special edition quad barreled shotgun! The Shotgun shown as the campaign award appears to be a redeco of the shotgun mold that came with Age of Extinction Hound, but done up in Optimus Prime red and blue flame colors. According to he Dengeki article, the gun is meant to represent a gun used by Prime while he was brainwashed and fighting Bumblebee in The Last Knight, though in the promotional images it is shown with the Studio Series Revenge of the Fallen Optimus Prime figure, for promotional purposes with a new figure obviously.
The campaign will begin on April 21st and will run until stock is depleted. In order to get the shotgun, you must buy 4000 yen worth of product from select Japanese stores, the names of which will most likely be available a little bit closer to the start of the campaign.
Check out the shotgun below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!
Hasbro's official Facebook page for Transformers has put out some extra information on the fan-vote poll for the 2019 War for Cybertron figures, which is closing today on social media. The three images answer some of the questions that the brand has been receiving since Tuesday, such as:
Aren’t Needlenose and Tracks brothers? A: Yep! And, you’ll get a glimpse into what drove them apart and led to them joining the Autobots and Decepticons in the War for Cybertron trilogy! Get Excited!
Why antoher Wheeljack figure, we recently got him as a toy? A: Wheeljack is one of the few Autobots whose Cybertronian vehicle alt-mode is seen in the original 1984 pilot episode of “The Transformers”. This version has never before been created in toy.
Why does Impactor wear a Decepticon logo? A: Much like the bounty hunter Doubledealer (who bears the Autobot crest), Impactor wears faction logos which do not align with his true nature as a Transformer. You’ll learn why and how he came to wear the Autobot crest, instead, in the untold stories of the War for Cybertron Trilogy.
Take a look at them below, as well as a reminder of the general rules for those who still want to take part:
Needlenose and Tracks - #NeedlenosevsTracks (brother vs brother)
Spinister and Wheeljack - #SpinistervsWheeljack (Saboteur vs Scientist)
Impactor and Mirage - #ImpactorvsMirage (Greater Good vs Greater Profit)
You vote for the pairing on social media using the relevant hashtag above, but each of the winning figures will be available separately at retail. We will bring you more information as it becomes available!
From the coverage of the Hasbro Brand Entertainment panel, which you can read again here, we have the details on the next fan-vote poll that will lead to not one but two, separately sold figures - each with their backstory and reason for inclusion together - for the new War for Cybertron toyline (that will follow the end of Power of the Primes and Prime Wars Trilogy).
The voting runs on official Transformers social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram from Tuesday February 20th to Friday February 23rd, using the hashtags provided below.
UPDATE: Today is the Final Day to vote!

A new year signals the end of the Transformersmas Holiday photography challenge for 2017. We received some truly great entries this year, and as a thank you for your participation, we're featuring every single one of them for all to see! Please enjoy the images below, and thank you again for sending in your photos!
We started with Week 1: Winter Sports
and got a wide array of entries, from Ice Skating to Knitting. Take a look!
Fires_of_Inferno
Alright, spheroid projectiles ready...
Why fly, when it's snowing and you have built-in skis like Whirl does!?
Sergeant Chaos: "You giant idiot! You're a snowmobile, you're not supposed to crash! You could have snapped my neck, you goalie-looking pile of rusty metal shavings!"
Icepick: "I could STILL snap your neck if you don't shut your filthy vocal processor, fleshling!"
Snowmobiling is fun!
Christmas shopping is definitely a winter sport! I mean, if you go shopping properly instead of just buying everything online! Either way, try not to get trampled!
I'm running out of real winter sports by now. However, you know what should be considered a winter sport? EVERYTHING INVOLVING CHRISTMAS! Not only are there things I am going to be doing, there's so much I WANT to do! Festivals, sales, shopping, checking out lights, building snow people, summon Cthulhu, taking pictures, bake cookies, watch holiday movies! That's a lot for one person to do! In the end you feel like you've run a marathon, but it's all worth it, and it's all fun!

Mirage finds ice skating to be extremely easy. He doesn't understand how people think it's so hard... (It gets less complicated when you have built in skates!)
And in my most lackluster, rushed day yet, Hot Rod finds out that his favorite hobby is not as easy in the winter months
Fixit tries ice sculpting! "It's a dolphin! I have to use these Kills-Thrills-Drills for something!"
We then moved on to a favorite aspect of this time of year: Week 2: Holiday Movies

This was the most impressive and intricate entry (or series of entries) we received this year. We sung the praises of Fire's impressive Christmas Carol recreation, (Naming it the winner of the Holiday Movie theme) and we'll continue to sing them now:
This is by far the most amazing entry we've received this year, and probably the best we've received in the history of Transformersmas. Fires_of_inferno takes us through the trials and tribulations of Ebenezer Starscrooge, in this 7-part, 79 installment (practically shot-for-shot) remake of the classic Christmas tale. It's unbelievable, and to do it justice, we'll link to the seven parts below. Extremely good job, Fires_of_inferno, you win this week. PART 1 PART 2 PART 3 PART 4 PART 5 PART 6 PART 7
Moving on from that extremely impressive feat, we ventured into... Cooking!
Let's take a look at your tasty results
