Let's jump right in with some discussion on the new
Robots in Disguise Deployers and minicons that are hitting store shelves and a
neat little commercial that's been spotted. We also take a stroll down memory lane with the history of the minicons. *cue music*
Clash of the Transformers, sounds like a new movie or video game doesn't it? Welp, it's not! The new Toys R' Us exclusive Robots in Disguise line has started taking over shelves and we'll discuss our thoughts on these new and very interestingly colored figures.
Takara seems to be pulling out all the stops with their new TAV line, which coincides with Robots In Disguise. Case in point,
leader Optimus Prime, what makes this figure so fun, guess you'll have to tune in.
Now it's time to dive into some comics. Our comic gurus take on
IDW's The Transformers issue #44 which is headed to a comic store near you.
*kermit flail* SPOILERS!
The Transformers Collectors Club's new Transformers / G.I. Joe crossovers are finally available.
Marissa Faireborn with Afterbreaker (*cough* Afterburner *cough*) and

Ahh glorious, shiny gold plastic. Yup,
Transformers Masterpiece G2 Bumblebee has shipped and many of us have him in hand...except some of us have failed to actually open him up. SO is this a masterpiece figure that every G2 enthusiast or masterpiece collector needs? Well, you'll have to tune in to find out what we think of this little gold bug.
Of course, we finish up this episode with a round of bragging rights.

Welcome to the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast! This episode features your prodigal host Counterpunch, Micron master ScottyP, lead vocals RodimusConvoy13, Combiner Wars junkie Megatronus, and the site owner Seibertron himself - listen in as we discuss the latest news, comics, toys, and more.
Episode #122 "The One Where Rodimus Sings" is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on iTunes and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
We've got a diverse agenda for this episode folks, so keep on listening or you might miss it. We start with comic-talk, specifically Transformers #43 -
official Seibertron review here. The Soundwave/Cosmos dynamic is an interesting one, and we have a bit of a role reversal. What does the Twincast crew think of this installment, not to mention the promo covers?
Take that, peaceful dude!
We move onto the more divisive More Than Meets the Eye #43 -
official Seibertron review here. Holo-matter avatars abound in this issue, and whether you dig it or not, we're all eager to get on to the next thing. Can this issue's ending catharsis redeem the long slog to the end? Listen in for some strong opinions.
Well... that was unexpected.
Only a select few of the Twincast crew are caught up on the RID Cartoon, and Counterpunch has one incisive question: WHY? Listen in as we compare RID to its predecessors, discuss its strengths and weaknesses... and get distracted by distribution of on-screen characters... and distribution in general.
Not hard to find!
We move right onto some exciting news - Transformers Subscription Service Impactor. The Twincast finally agrees on something: this guy is
COOL. Well done, FubPub. Our all important head-canon and the Combiner Wars figures we want aside, you should join the discussion in Seibertron.com's brand new
Collectors Club forums, right here.
Squeal!!!
Time for some Masterpiece talk. Word has come down (or eastward) from Japan that MP-11T Thundercracker is coming. The Twincast's reaction is mixed. Are we digging the semi-accurate cartoon deco, or are we happy with our Hasbro version from a couple years back? More importantly, where are our Coneheads?
He's so pretty, and silky smooth too!
So, how about that Masterpiece Ironhide? Ever since MP27 was announced at Tokyo Toy Show, the fandom has been alternating cycles of uproar and rage on this figure. The Twincast crew has their own prognosis. Listen in as we consider the future of this impending release, and
agonize over this photoshop.
Non-heroic nonsense.
It's time… for a LISTENER QUESTION! Doctor McGrath ask "Combiner Wars Devastator looks great but where does he fit in your collection?" Devastator goes plenty of places to go... a shelf of redundancy here, a shelf of misfit toys there. There are no wrong answers, so listen in to where the Twincast will be placing this behemoth... if they do at all.
He's a mean, green, devastation machine!
We finish up the Twincast with some bragging rights. What did everyone get since the last recording?
Minus his armada.

Hello and welcome to the lastest edition of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast! This episode features your host ScottyP along with RodimusConvoy13, xRotorstormx, our long lost partner in crime TigerTrack24, and coming to you live from San Diego Comic Con, Seibertron. In this episode we will be discussing all the latest news coming out of San Diego Comic Con from rumors and reveals to new comics that will be headed to a comic shop near you.
Episode #121 "SDCC 2015" is available directly and in our RSS Feed and should appear on iTunes, and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
San Diego Comic Con, the place where everyone wants to be, is taking place this week (July 9-12) and we've got the latest scoop on all the big surprising and those not so surprising reveals in the Transformers world BUT we decided to throw you a curve ball tonight and start off with a little discussion of non-TF SDCC news that we are each looking forward to.
Up next we'll dive into the world of transformers...
Oh, what do we have here, do my eyes deceive me? Nope, those 90's neon colors are headed our way again in the form of
G2 Superion and Menasor and we couldn't be more excited!
We've also been shown this
awesome spreadsheet of repeated mold use in the Combiner Wars line, just in case you were curious.
We fall back into some G2 chat when out of the blue, who do we have here? Live from San Diego, its Seibertron! He was able to take some time out of his busy schedule to join us to chat about everything from his first hand experiences to the overall vibe of comic con. You do not want to miss this.
While it may not come as a surprise to some, it looks like we've finally gotten an update that Toys R Us may actually be getting
Masterpiece Starscream.
Up next, we discuss our thoughts on the awesome looking game from Activision
Transformers: Devastation plus, our very own Seibertron was lucky enough to get a first hand walk through at SDCC.
The votes have been tallied and the
fan built female combiner, Victorion, has finally been revealed. We'll discuss our first thoughts on her as well as the overall fan reaction.
At this years Botcon, we were lucky enough to get our hands on some G2 figures that never saw the light of day, General Optimus and Sgt. Hound. On top of Nacelle from the club, the twincast deviates a little to discuss what other unreleased figures we would love to see.
SDCC also gave us images of the upcoming
Combiner Wars Scattershot and Betatron but the question still remains, will we actually see Computron? Guess we will have to wait and see.
With the popularity of the Combiner Wars line so far, what does this mean for the possibility of the other combiners making an appearance?
Combiner Wars Devastator, the set we have all be clamoring to get our hands on is finally popping up in stores. Some of the twincast were lucky enough to have him in hand so you'll have to tune in to hear our thoughts on this new box set.
There were a few things that were surprisingly absent at SDCC this year, most importantly, Titan Wars. The images were (leaked?) at Botcon this year on the Hasbro banner but with no official word, will we ever see these figures come to life? Well, just when we thought all hope was lost, an image of
Titan Wars Blaster has appeared...
In other news, the twincast discusses the upcoming
Combiner Wars animated series coming to us from Machinima.
Also, there was some exciting news to come out of the
IDW panel at SDCC. Lets just say we will be seeing new comics galor in the coming year!
Of course, we finish up this episode with an excellent round of bragging rights. What has the Twincast picked up since last time? You'll have to tune in to find out...but here's a hint.
Well, that wraps things up for another episode! We really hope you enjoyed listening.

Welcome to the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast! This episode features your host ScottyP, along with Counterpunch, Megatronus, and Seibertron himself! Listen in as we discuss the latest news, toys, and more.
Episode #120 "Cons" is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on iTunes and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
We begin with a very special segment, dear listeners: the Twincast chats with Colin Douglas, organizer of the upcoming TFCon in Toronto, July 17-19. Sit back and enjoy while we find out what really goes into planning the largest unofficial Transformers convention in the world.
Solid Logo.
Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to chat with us, Colin. We had a great time talking about Toronto, water slides, Peter Cullen, the genesis of TFCon Charlotte, convention exclusives, and more!
We get into some additional Con discussion, and the crew quickly settles in on SDCC exclusive Devastator. Seibertron is on-hand mid-photo shoot -
the finished SDCC Devastator gallery can be found here. What does the Twincast think of this exclusive, and how does it stack up to the Generations and Unite Warriors releases? We move on to the Combiner Hunters 3-pack, Kre-O Class of '85, and whoa... things are getting expensive.
Prepare… for chrome-termination.
We seamlessly move into Botcon and this year's exclusive figures. The collection of oddities and the Diaclone-homage-surprise-attack caught a couple Twincasters off-guard. Some are bummed, and some wish they could have been at the convention. While you listen to our joys, woes, and a spirited conversation on these Diaclone-inspired figures' factions, check out Seibertron's
mini-gallery of the Botcon 2015 exclusives, right here.
Misfits.
We skillfully segue to the Windblade #4, MTMTE #42, and TF #42 comics. We're on the verge of a very cool Velocitron arc, some MTMTE set up, and great story work in The Transformers (formerly RID). What do we think of the long-game they're playing, and the worlds the writers are building? Listen in to hear the crew's thoughts about the comics' larger direction, and the greatness at the end of the tunnel.
Finally, Knock-Out takes center stage.
We digress, and talk through the hunt for Transformer Prime Megatron, Transformers Subscription Service Nacelle assembly problems, some special dealers at Botcon, and more. You like it when we riff, right?
Upside-down rear wing tips. Grrr.
We finish up the Twincast with some bragging rights. What did everyone get since the last recording - or even since two recordings ago?
Also, someone got a lucky draw!

Episode #118 "Countdown to Botcon 2015" is available directly and in our RSS Feed and should appear on iTunes, and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
As we begin the countdown to Botcon 2015, in this episode's special segment the Twincast chats with Pete Sinclair of Fun Publications. Sit back and enjoy while we find out what really goes in to putting together one of the premier Transformers conventions. You might even hear a surprise or two
Thank you Pete for taking the time out of your busy schedule to sit down and chat with us!
As we transition now to some toy talk, we'll discuss our thoughts on a new video that has surfaced finally showing how one of the biggest sets of the year will combine. That set you ask is none other than
Combiner Wars Devastator!
Images have surfaced of some pretty wild decos of our favorite fembots,
Arcee, Windblade, and Chromia! Now revealed as an SDCC exclusive, will we be leavin' on a jet plane to add these ladies to our collections? Guess you'll have to tune in to find out.
Up next, images of the newest member of the
Platinum Edition family, Trypticon have been revealed! Will the crew be picking up this big lug or are some of us just not ready to pull the trigger yet.
You can't resist it...It's electric!
Now comes time for one of our favorite segments of the show, another round of bragging rights! Tune in to hear what the cast picked up since the last episode.
It's the simple things in life

Welcome to the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast! This episode features your prodigal host Counterpunch, micron master ScottyP, pinball wizard xRotorstormx, and combiner wars junkie Megatronus - listen in as we discuss the latest news, toys, and more.
Episode #117 "Block Town" is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on iTunes and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
We've got toys on the brain tonight folks, and we get started with a few of this year's Club exclusive figures. A couple Twincasters have the first Subscription Service 3.0 figure, Carzap, a few others this year's 'free' Lio Convoy, and yet another the Club Store exclusive Nova Prime. Are these worth your hard earned dollar? While we assess paints apps, heads, and what we're looking forward to,
check out Seibertron's galleries of Nova Prime, here.
Gotta watch your back in Block Town.
Time for some main-line talk, starting with Combiner Wars Leader Thundercracker. In-hand images have been piling up, and this figure is in stock at
Hasbro Toy Shop and
site-sponsor BBTS. Is the Twincast excited for a comic-accurate figure, or resigned to an out-of-scale one? We discuss what could have been, and how we come to terms with what is - it's all quite zen, actually.
Starscream: not far behind.
Seibertron's got brand spanking new
galleries of Legions Class Cliffjumper, Skywarp, and Ultra Magnus up and running, and some in our ranks want to know what all the Ultra Magnus fuss is about. Listen in as the rest of the crew discusses these neat little finds - probably coming to a Dollar Store or Big Lots near you!
Goodbye Minimus Ambus… Hello Ultra Magnus!
We move onto something BIG - San Diego Comic Con's exclusive (oh, that word) Titan Devastator. Some of the Twincast crew is entranced by
dat box and others by
dat purple chrome, but is
dat enough to make the crew pull the trigger? Are we still hung up on our original assessments of this set, or are we coming around? It's a tough call, so tune in.
Prepare… for extermination.
The Twincast crew gets down to some serious business: Unite Warriors Defensor with deluxe Groove. The Twincast discusses the intrigue of these figures and their exclusive molds and decos. With
wave 3 of Combiner Wars appearing at retail, will the crew be picking up Unite Warriors Defensor? What's it mean to be exclusive anyway? Well, you'll just have to listen to find out.
Groooooovy
The time is ripe… for a LISTENER QUESTION! News staff member williamjames88's thoughtful query initiates a lively discussion about buying at retail vs online. In an age of increased convenience and internet dominance, what motivates some of the crew to venture out into the wild of brick and mortar retail? Conversely, what keeps some crew-members married to eCommerce? There are no wrong answers, but some revealing insights into Twincast members' nostalgia, collecting philosophy, and life commitments. Listen in to hear what it's all about.
Old toys, new channels.
We get on to some unlikely art-talk with the release of
five very cool Fembot concepts by IDW artist Alex Milne. The popularity of female Transformers amongst the fandom, and the demand for more toys of such characters, has been an encouraging trend. Will we see these characters take flight in toy or comic form? As always, the Twincast crew has some opinions on that.
Let me stand next 'toy' your fire…
We touched on SDCC before, so you know we got to talk Botcon! The convention is just a month away, and we've caught wind of some rumored Waspinator-based army builders. Which of these taste-the-rainbow decos make sense, and which don't? Does the Twincast crew even care if these figures fit in, or are we simply excited for some Waspinator-related fun?
Prepare… for buzz-termination. See what I did there?
We finish up the Twincast with some bragging rights. What did everyone get since the last recording - or even since two recordings ago?
This episode, there are some clear winners.

Welcome to the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast! This episode features your no-longer-on-the-market host ScottyP, site owner and photographer extraordinaire Seibertron, Not-Optimus RodimusConvoy13, and the late (to the show) Jon3.0.
Jon 3.0 was saving Drift during our comics discussion
Episode #116 "Character Piece" is available directly and in our RSS Feed and should appear on iTunes and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
On this episode we start out by catching up on some comic talk. The not-quite latest issue of More Than Meets The Eye kicks things off, as we take a rather long time to catch up on the
dastardly(?) deeds of the DJD.
Not sure if the audio gives a reminder of who the Best Character is, so here's one.
After that, we catch up on the goings on with the rest of the crew in the fallout of Elegant Chaos. The feels run strong while we chat about the
emotional "Ratchet" issue. Will we ever successfully say "goodbye" to this topic during the episode?
Off the page, but into your heart
We then move on to Combiner Wars Parts
two and
three, found (respectively) in the pages of Transformers #40 and Windblade #2. The ongoing war is so compelling, it may get glossed over with only the quickest of discussions - who will save us from the lack of discourse for these super fun issues?
My money's on Lightbright
We then move onto Cartoons and discuss Robots In Disguise Episodes 6 & 7. Is the cast enjoying the show so far, or are we truly still in the "too early to tell" phase of the show?
Buy her now kids! Oh wait, you can't. We're so good at cross channel marketing.
The Robots in Disguise chat rolls on for a little while longer, when we take a look at
some potential toy repaint color schemes.
Obligatory
The last toy in the Botcon 2015 boxed set has been revealed as the
"Double Pretender" Oilmaster! "The Bounty Hunter" comes to us as a resurrection of a canceled late-G1 concept. Split opinions reign as we discuss whether or not this made some dreams come true.
Trukk AND Monkey!
With
Botcon coming up soon, we then briefly turn our attention to the boxed set on the whole. What do you think of the set? Will we see you at the convention?
Maybe Axl was singing about Mach Kick all along
Next up, we'll answer a very fun question from Seibertronian lordME.gatron, who asks:
lordME.gatron wrote:Hey there guys I'm a long time listener, first time caller;
I started collecting a little over 5 years ago, I managed to buy more generations toys than g1. Would it be wise to continue collecting both g1 and generations or stick with either line. I like both lines but its becoming too pricy, any advice?
Choices, choices...
After that, it's time to wrap up with some quick Bragging Rights. Listen to us all live vicariously through one another's collective eclectic hauls!
He's on a quest to save the show!
Hope you have fun with this one, we'll see you again in some indeterminate amount of time!

Welcome to the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast! This episode features your upstanding host RodimusConvoy13, version two-point-oh Jon3.0, the very metal xRotorstormx, and dark horse Megatronus, who may or may not have ghost written this very post!
Episode #115 "Nenemis Prime" is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on iTunes and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Today's a toy-centric Twincast, folks, and the crew is ready to tackle the rush of Transformers reveals coming your way. First we discuss the latest Botcon 2015 Cybertron's Most Wanted box set reveals: Battletrap, Shattered Glass Stepper, and... DOTM Megatron? The Twincast crew discusses Duocons, mirror universes, and the divisive first release of the Arms Microns Breakdown mold in the US,
which is captured in a stunning gallery by our very own Seibertron. Which of these figures are we most excited about? Well, you'll just have to listen to find out.
It's over, Prime.
But wait, our friends at FunPub aren't done yet. We've once again entered the magical world of crossovers, with a few intriguing new entries on the G.I. Joe side of the ledger: Joe CON exclusive Old Snake and BAT (2 of 'em!) from the PRID deluxe Soundwave mold, and Transformers Collectors Club Marissa Faireborn with "Afterbreaker." Sit back as we discuss the merits of these rather slick crossovers, and the amazing
galleries Seibertron photographed for your viewing pleasure.
It's a mug only a mother could love.
Our final exclusive of the evening is dark, evil, and has an oversized meat cleaver as a weapon. Oh, and did I mention he's a combiner? That's right, the Twincast discusses the eHobby exclusive Grand Scourge. Is the Twincast crew picking up this Prime wannabee, or is that gold just a wee,
wee bit too much?
Ha, he said 'wee, wee'...
On to Takara, and their newlineup of figures coming off the assembly line: Transformers Adventure. What's the crew picking up in this assortment of original molds and redecos? What are we leaving behind? What other crazy things can we expect ? We've got our opinions, and folks, you're gonna hear them!
Excellent execution. Read that as you will.
Takara's Unite Warriors Menasor has been revealed, and these Stunticons' are considerably different from their Hasbro counterparts. In a word: G1 accurate decos. Salivating yet? Well, it's not all good news - the Twincast discusses the tradeoffs, so tune in!
But... but... where's Offroad?
Who's feeling the rage? Prototype images of MP-26 Road Rage (a retool of the upcoming MP-25 Tracks) have hit the interwebs, and the first female Masterpiece figure features a retooled head, curved thighs, and perhaps more. Bonus: in-package images of Hasbro's Masterpiece Bluestreak have been revealed... but we think you can guess which figure we're more excited about.
Oo-la-la!
Next up: Combiner Wars. Join us for a freewheeling discussion on the Protectobots, Cyclonus, and a few other Combiner Wars figures that have shown up in the Phillipines. How are we liking the looks of these wave 3 figures, and how soon can we expect them, given some of us haven't even found wave 2 yet?
Just think of the repaint potential!
Finally, on to some non-toy talk - Robots in Disguise has progressed to episodes 3 & 4, and those crewmembers brave enough to watch have some encouragingthings to say about this latest animated adventure!
He's still got the touch!
Our penultimate topic for this broadcast: A listener question! Seibertron.com member Nemesis Maximo asks the crew about cleaning their dusty figures. How such an innocuous became a source for hilarity is beyond us...

Welcome to the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast. This episode features your prodigal host Counterpunch, master of this universe Seibertron, the always exceptional ScottyP, the very metal xRotorstormx, and dark horse Megatronus, who may or may not have ghost written this very post!
Episode #114 "Brainmasters" is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on iTunes and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
First, we take a look at what Transformers are all about for some folks: toys! And boy, do we have a lot to talk about. Most of the Twincast has MP-24 Star Saber in hand, is this latest entry worthy of the title "Masterpiece"? More importantly, will the Twincast crew be successful in Counterpunch-ing xRotorstormx into purchasing this figure on air? Listen and find out.
Which is G1... and which is the Masterpiece?
But wait, there's more - despite Super Serious Tobacco Attorney's (or Harvey Birdman's?) best efforts, MP-25 Exhaust has arrived. The highly anticipated redeco of Masterpiece Wheeljack has been uncertain in its release and difficult to obtain, but the Twincast has you covered. Sit back as we discuss the merits of this figure, and the amazingly hazy
galleries Seibertron photographed for your viewing pleasure.
The site owner may or may not have been harmed in the making of this gallery.
Then, we have a very special treat for our listeners... a short topic! The Twincast very, very briefly gives their thoughts on the recently announced, and oh so very Diaclone, MP-18B Bluestreak.
Body of Prowl. Heart of Streak.
Next up: Combiner Wars. Images of the new Quickslinger and Breakneck (AKA Slingshot and Wildrider) are here. What do we think of these figures? Are they a welcome addition to the Generations fold, or does the Twincast like Alpha Bravo and Offroad just a wee bit better?
Options.
Botcon 2015 in Chicago is coming up fast, and this is already proving to be an interesting year. We have the first Cybertron's Most Wanted Box Set reveal: ittttt's Packrat! Will the Twincast crew be picking this homage up? What does the crew think about the rabid speculation on the Box Set's remaining characters?
Once a Rattrap redeco, always a Rattrap redeco.
Way better images of the new, simplified Cyber Series sub-line are out and about. What do we think of these 7” and 11" figures? Also, maybe they're already available in South America? Where's our Brazilian correspondent? Listen to our rueful ramblings to learn more.
My truck's bigger than yours.
Images of Takara Legends LG-13 Megatron have finally arrived, and the differences between this and Hasbro's version are both minor and controversial. We're full of opinions and nitpicks when it comes to the Decepticon leader. Which Twincast crew-members plan to import the big guy, and who already has one (or two)?
To G1, or not to G1? That, is the question.
Movies - lots and lots of movies. Or, at least, that's what we've been told to expect. Paramount is looking to expand the Transformers movieverse, Marvel-style. What does the crew make of this news? And, more importantly, what would the Twincast like to see down the line?
HINT: this. Maybe.
Our penultimate topic for this broadcast: A listener question! Seibertron.com member
CombaticonsCombine? asks
about Bruticus in our "Ask The Twincast" thread, and we reply on air. The Twincast is pretty unanimous on this one.
Just a matter of time.
Remember, if you want to hear your questions answered by us "professionals", leave it in the

We finish up the Twincast with some bragging rights. What did everyone get since the last recording? Well, besides Star Saber and Exhaust, that is.
So... how about that backstory?
