Transformers Unlicensed Products News on Seibertron.com
Third-party toymaker iGear has been relatively quite lately after a flurry of releases in the first half of 2010. However, they broke that silence today with a site update and email to their customers about a new upgrade for the original, full-sized Masterpiece Convoy and Prime figures: animated-styled, replacement heads. The heads, similar to the ones iGear includes with the PP-01 line of miniature Convoy/Prime figures, are intended to give your MP Convoy/Prime, Ultra Magnus, or Nemesis (black) Prime the look of the G1 animated character. They are available for preorder on iGear's online store for $18.00 a piece or $50.00 for the set of all three. The site lists December 30th as the release date for these head updates and, as of now, they are only available on the iGear store. To view the preorders for these accessories, click HERE.
As a reminder, these products are not from Hasbro or Takara/Tomy and are not officially licensed.
Thanks to Seibertron.com member Cannonfodder4000 for letting us know about a new, video review posted to YouTube for third-party toymaker Perfect Effect's PX-02 Ninja and Kingbat two pack. The video review, posted by Aerros1, nicely highlights both figures including all of their modes, shows off their paint apps which appear to be improved over previous Perfect Effect offerings, and the articulation for both. Ninja, a pink-colored homage to Kiss Player Autobot Cassette Bot Rosanna, becomes a cannon not unlike the earlier PE offerings. Kingbat, a homage to Decepticon Cassette Bot Ratbat, transforms from robotic bat to jet and then can be converted into a large trident similar in size to the Perfect Effect God Swords. The Perfect Effect PX-02 two pack is available now at all of our great site sponsors and both figures can also be purchased separately.

Seibertronian Dune Echo has done some investigating into FansProject Causality 2011 figures. By lowering the contrast on the image FansProject released, you can now more clearly see CA-03. Who is he? Is he based on an existing character or is he completely new. Keep up the speculation! Great forensics work, Dune Echo!
Yesterday, I received some some great news in an email from our friend Joel at site sponsor BBTS.com and today their site has confirmed it: the Fansproject TFX-04 Protector set and TFX-05 Sidearm Targetmaster will arrive tomorrow. After they receive the shipment, it should take a few days for them to sort and process all the orders, especially when it's a set like this that's in such high demand. But hopefully most of you with pre-orders will get your holiday wish and see your Protector armor proudly displayed on your shelf in time to ring in the new year!

That's right, folks, Crazy Devy has revealed the next gestalt in line for some upgrades. Coming to an online retailer near you in January 2011, an upgrade for your G1 Seacons! What this upgrade will entail remains to be seen, but the full sized propaganda-style promo image can be seen on Crazy Devy's website.
Curt from our sponsor - TFsource has updated us with the following message:
"TFX-04 Protector Trailer Now Instock! Freshly arrived in our warehouse, we haven't even unpacked yet, but will begin processing preorders tomorrow. If you preordered it will likely take a few days to ship out all preorders so be patient. If you haven't preordered yet, limited stock is remaining! Shadow Scyther is not yet in stock yet, but is estimated to be instock by the end of the month!"
Ray from Robotkingdom has sent us the latest update from the store:
"Hi,
New pre-order items from xovergen: Mecha Warfare STC-GP Supreme Tactical Commander Grand Patriot Set of Red & Green Versions, US$169/set of 2, release Late December 2010. http://www.robotkingdom.com/services/es ... tID=41_199
Please post the following news as soon as possible.
Just yesterday, we revealed details of Xovergen's Supreme Tactical Commander Grand Patriot release, and now site sponsor BigBadToyStore.com has opened a preorder for the figure.
Just one catch, though: the figure is only available as a two pack featuring both the "classic" red/blue deco and the green deco, with the pair retailing $179.99. The figure is slated to be released later this month.
We received this following e-mail from Mattersmasher, which contains an e-mail he sent to Mastermind Creations and the answer he got from them:
I emailed Mastermind Creations about the possibility of a re-issue of their Knight Morpher Commander figure, including all the mould updates present in Knight Morpher Annihilator. While I was about it, I thought I'd ask the following additional question:
"is "Cyclops" actually Hearts of Steel Shockwave?"
Here is their reply:
"Hi Mattersmasher, we might do an upgrade for KMC later when we have back-orders from our resellers.
Shockwave is Cyclops for sure. He is in our plan, you can probably see his prototype in mid of 2011.
Thanks
MMC"
So it's confirmed Not-Harts of Steel Not-Shockwave is Mastermind Creation's next figure and we'll get our first look at it in mid 2011.
For all those wondering what HOS Shockwave looks like:
