After recently seeming to interview just about everyone involved with the Transformers movie or new PRIME TV series, MTV makes sure to get a few questions to legendary voice actor, and freedom for sentient species advocator, Peter Cullen who happens to be involved in both projects.
See what MTV asked, and Peter Cullen answered
here. But be warned there is a bit of a spoiler for a piece of DOTM's plot.
Topics include his inspirations for Optimus' voice, his favorite voices to do, current questions involving TF PRIME and his fellow actors, projects Mr. Cullen would like to do with NASA, and of course, his tiny piece of spoilerific plot and character description.

MTV caught up with Michael Bay,director of the live action Transformer films, on the red carpet for a quick interview about the third installment of the franchise Tansformers: Dark of the Moon. The interview can be found at
MTV Movies Blog.
"We just have, I think, a better story," he said. "It's epic and it happens in a city, so it's more accessible because you recognize stuff; it's not in a desert. It's kind of like 'Black Hawk Down' with our small group of heroes in a city."
In a
follow up article Bay gave away a couple of slightly
spoiler-ish tidbits regarding two new characters. To view the original story at MTV News click

On the carpet, Bay also briefly touched on two new alien bots set to debut in "Dark of the Moon." "Sentinel Prime is great. He's great," he said. "I can't tell you anything else, other than he's great."
And about the villain Shockwave, Bay say, "He's bad," adding that compared to Megatron, "He's got a much bigger gun [and is] a little bit more vicious."

MTV has recently scored two Transformers: Prime related interviews.
MTV Movie Blog had the opportunity to chat with Transformers: Prime executive producers Jeff Kline and Roberto Orci (co-writer of the first two Transformers live action movies). They discuss how fan reaction impacts their work.
Orci, who admitted he reads fan commentary almost incessantly, revealed that he pays close attention to fan reactions for fresh and new perspectives on the work, particularly when plot details or spoilers leak online.
They also talk about Movie Arcee's fate and how it influenced the development of Transformers: Prime Arcee.
One specific example is with the case of Arcee, a beloved female autobot who almost made it into the first live action film, was barely in the sequel, but has found new life and fan favoritism on the animated series.

MTV Geek caught up with legendary voice actor Frank Welker. Among the topics discussed are his involvement with the Transformers franchise over the years including Transformers: Prime.
Geek: How is Megatron being handled in Transformers Prime ? How’s he different from previous iterations?
FW: I think first, physically when you look at Megatron, he’s quite a bit different: he doesn’t have the gun on his arm like he did in G1 and now he’s a jet fighter and he’s a little bit different in the Transformers Prime series [in that] he has a slightly different look, but when you look at him you go, “Oh yeah, that’s Megatron!”

For those that have some questions about last summer's Transformers novel EXODUS (companion to 'War for Cybertron') game, the book's author, Alex Irvine has been interviewed by fellow fan-site
Unicron.com.
Irvine and his interviewer wax philosophical about many topics, some of local Michigan interest due to Irvine's early Michigan ties (new Michigan Wolverines football team head coach), but mostly related to ideas that are presented in the Transformers EXODUS book, and possible plots in store for the sequel to that book.
Irvine makes sure to share where his idea for Soundwave's minions as minicons, dark energon, and many other newly presented details from the book have their origins.
Check out the
interview at Unicron.com and come back here to discuss Mr. Irvine's ideas, and answers.
