-Hasbrotoysho.com- Word is coming in from various sources, including my own e-mail inbox that the HASBRO Special Edition versions of Overkill, Dragstrip, Optimus Prime, and Megatron are to begin shipping soon. These items, are Hasbrotoyshop exclusives. According to the website, these items still have the ship date as the 23rd-26th (standard), but these e-mails may suggest that we may start seeing them sooner than that.

More proof of the shipping soon is that credit cards are being charged and bank accounts withdrawn from.

TFSource.com has announced their traditional WST Stocking Stuffer Giftset. The figures are limited and require an additional purchase.

Happy Holidays! An annual favorite, the Stocking Stuffer Campaign 2008 is now available and ready for preorder! Limited to 500 pieces, each set will feature 2 figures, and more bells and whistles that are yet to be announced. Requires purchase from TFsource or $40 or more to be eligible, other ordering requirements do apply and this set is available only while supplies last.

Keep in mind due to a delay the piece will not ship out until next year, we do apologize and as opposed to canceling the campaign knew fans would still want a set of exclusive figures and decided to still maintain the campaign even though it will ship late.

More news keeps popping about the recently seen pictures of MP-02 & MP-04 add on pack. Robotkingdom has a pre-order listing here along with several pictures including: an in package shot and what appears to be graphic art. The online retailer has the item listed as “In stock” and it will begin shipping next week.





Seibertron member, Coolpop, also found the following listing on eBay. Click here to see the auction by Oceankingtoy. The listing has similar photos.

This item was previously reported as a Transformers forum exclusive at TF.SG. However, this claim cannot be substantiated at this time. The maker of the item is not listed.

Oberphones Presents "Hommage à Skywarp"

Design writer Christopher Wilson has just sent us information on a unique piece of art that's now available. This new work is a tribute to one of the original Transformers seekers, Skywarp.





Hommage à Skywarp is a new poster-broadsheet designed and published by Oberphones in tribute to Skywarp, one of the first Transformers issued by Hasbro in 1984. The homage takes the form of an A4-format broadsheet which folds out into an A2-format (420 x 594 mm) poster. The broadsheet (plane form) side includes a series of four specially-written texts by design writer Christopher Wilson, exploring the cultural background of his purchase of Skywarp in early 1985 and the state of department store culture at the time; Skywarp's standing among his rivals in the Transformers range; and finally an anecdote of Skywarp's 'tech spec' characteristics. The poster (robot form) side comprises a graphic portrait of the Decepticon, based on the silhouette of the 1984 box illustration, and incorporating new photographs of the original model.
