Can you not wait to get your hands on the next Masterpiece figure, a cartoon-accurate Bumblebee? Thanks to Seibertonian Cyberpath and Twitter user ArrvlFrmCybrtrn, we not only have stock images of the Hasbro release of MP-45, we also have several in hand images! Let's take a look!
As as the show (and toy altmode) accurate Bumblebee is a Takara initiated figure, it will be sold in the U.S., but with a black slipcover, that being the only change to it before it's imported to the U.S. for sale.
As these next two photos show, Bumblebee will come with a gun, a blast effect for the gun, another creepily-faceless Spike Witwicky figure, and interestingly, a sticker sheet. These stickers seem to give the option of covering the symbol on his license plate with a red heart, so as to not technically infringe on the "I (Heart) NY trademark. He also comes with stickers representing the I've cream splotches from the "Child's Play" episode of the G1 cartoon, rust patches from the "Cosmic Rust" episode and Morphobot spores from "Quest For Survival".
Next, we've got a great shot of the '84 main cast, many of them in their MP+ decos- a great way to see exactly how MP-45 scales with the other toys he's likely to be displayed with.
Then we have some nice poses showing off his poseability and cartoon accurate robot mode.
MP-45 was originally scheduled to be released in Japan this Saturday, September 28th, but Takara Tomy Mall's own website shows that he's been delayed to November 23rd. Do you already have your preorder in? Do any of these pictures sway you towards picking this figure up? Any speculation as to the delay of this figure? Feel free to discuss below!
Thanks to an update from the Transformers Official YouTube page we have a cool Friday treat for you disciples of Unicron out there. In this short video you get to see the breakdowns and making-of the official poster for the HasLab Unicron project done by none other than Marcelo Matere!
Here's the word from Hasbro on Unicron: "UNICRON stands alone as the most menacing figure in TRANSFORMERS lore, capable of devouring entire worlds and civilizations. He debuted in the 1986 film Transformers: The Movie and his insatiable appetite nearly brought the entire universe to its knees. But his legacy transcends both space and time.
The gigantic UNICRON would be the largest TRANSFORMERS figure ever created, taking the title from the previous record-holder, FORTRESS MAXIMUS. Artists and designers from Takara Tomy and Hasbro are working to capture the intricate details and features of the relentless Chaos Bringer to make this the most accurate UNICRON fans have ever seen.
In his immense robot mode, this version of UNICRON is over 27” tall and has more than 50 points of articulation. Includes fine pose-ability, such as movable eyes, fingers, mouth, and even teeth. He converts into a terrifying planet mode that is a stunning 30” in diameter. The planet mode features the iconic planet-eating jaws, geared to open so UNICRON can devour unassuming worlds. The planet mode also features a series of posable planetary rings. Comes with a stand for posing both planet & robot mode."
Unicron is on his way to our planet as we speak Seibertronians! Only the combined power of our fandom united can convert this planetary threat into a child sized toy ready to dominate our collections. Till all are one!
If you haven't backed this project yet there's still time but not much - just click HERE to head to Hasbro Pulse and put in your order for Unicron today! If Unicron does not meet the 8,000 backers needed HE WILL NOT BE MADE!
Enjoy the view and as always stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news!
New York Comic Con (NYCC) 2019 is coming soon. There will be a live Transformers panel. However, please be aware, that as with other years, it won't be a Power Point presentation with loads of reveals. This panel is usually just people talking to eachother with a handful of toys brought out, some which are currently already on shelves. It's usually there that we get hints to next year's Titan as well. But we will get some new reveals for sure.
You can check out the schedule here where you will also be available to stream the panel. It is Thursday, October 3, at
11:30 AM ET.
Speaking of NYCC 2019, Super 7 revealed their exclusive. Once again, it's their Megtron figure where you can see inside his chest at his inner working, except this time it is clear purple. It will be available at their booth #642, with a $75.00 price tag. We have images for you below.
Well it's certainly been a huge week of reveals for the Transformers Trading Card Game (TCG for short) and today we have another deck's worth to share with you. Thanks to Seibertronians D-Maximal Primal and Powered Convoy, we have news to bring you of another Takara Tomy Mall exclusive in the Siege line! As you can see below, the popular Voyager Class mold of Optimus Prime is getting released as his fairly regular Decepticon mold mate/counterpart, Nemesis Prime! Nemesis is looking good in his usual teal and black livery. In addition to the ion blaster that comes with the mold, according to the Japanese text, he also comes with a sword, which is a black and pink redeco of the sword that came with Titans Return Alpha Trion. The order period is from Friday, September 13th, to Tuesday, October 15th, and the figure will be made available in March 2020, costing ¥6480, which is almost exactly $60 USD at current exchange rates.
Given that all Takara Tomy Mall exclusives in the last year or so (Seacons, Star Convoy, etc.) have also been made available in the U.S., it's likely that Siege Nemesis Prime will be as well, but there's no official word on that so far.
Let us know what you think of this reveal! Is Nemesis Prime coming to your collection? Let us know in the forums below, and discuss!
