C.O.M.B.A.T. Bots
An exciting new addition will soon be coming to Transformers: Earth Wars. For the first time we will be introducing Battle Masters, Micro Masters and Mini-Cassettes bots as characters you can collect. These bots will act as part of the new C.O.M.B.A.T. system that will allow you to change the weapons of your existing bots or add battle companions to any bot.
These new weapons, based on Battle Masters and Micro Masters bots, will add powerful new attacks to your bots and allow players to totally change how some bot classes behave in battle.
The Mini-Cassette companion bots will be equippable to any character and provide them with a powerful companion with its own unique abilities.
The bonus part of the C.O.M.B.A.T. system is that it can coexist with Power Cores, and a bot can have both a C.O.M.B.A.T. bot equipped and a Power Core!
The following C.O.M.B.A.T. bots will be joining the game first with more to follow soon.

Prime League Effects
The time has come to update the extra battle effects in Prime League and also in the new Prime Zone.
The new effects starting from today are the following:
Defenses explode dealing 5x their dps upon death
Defences heal for 15% of damage dealt
These new effects will retroactively apply to any wars in progress during the content push.

Starting Thursday 26th March 16:00 UTC until further notice, teaming up with your friends and winning Alliance War Leagues will reward:

The Autobot and Decepticon Battle Masters have been announced! They may be SMALL in size, but they are BIG in battle capabilities!
And there is so much to talk about that we have decided to move to a weekly livestream. Join us as we talk C.O.M.B.A.T. bots, game improvements, new features and more with some special guests.
Today Hasbro held a preview event for Toy Fair 2020 for their investors. Some of the information was for those in attendance only but the audio and presentation slide show from the event was available for Seibertron. Out of the almost three hour presentation there are a few major points that will interest Transformer fans:
- The new War for Cybertron animated series will finally debut on Netflix this year! A preview was available those in attendance only but is likely to be available for wider audiences tomorrow or soon after Toy Fair.
- Transformers and G.I. Joe media are being handed to company eOne. No clear details on future plans but mention of work on projects for both brands.
- New console game (Switch/VR) titled Transformers: Doom of Cybertron is in the works.
Toy Fair hasn't even started and its cup is already running over. Make sure to stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest in Toy Fair 2020 Transformers news!

Greeting Seibertronians! Ready for a blast from the past? The Verge website has reported that Hasbro are to release new four Tiger Electronics LCD handhelds based on the handhelds released during the 90s. These new devices will be modeled just like thd old ones, LCD screen and all. There will be no new features passed on to them, keeping the nostalgic value intact.
The first four releases are Sonic 3, the Little Mermaid, X Men Project X and Transformers Generation 2!
These are set to retail for $14.99 and will launch this fall.

Rook and Blot's decoy dealt a small amount of damage. This was not intended and will be corrected.

Greetings Seibertronians! Following on from last week's reveal about Wave 5 of Wizards of the Coast's Official Transformers Trading Card Game Wave 5 expansion, the company have followed up with revealing the special cards they'll be giving to stores that sign up through their Wizards Event Reporter service to host launch events for the expansion. The reveal was made on the Wizards Play Network.
These include 25 copies of a character card that you will not be in the booster packs when they are available. That character is Titan Master Arcana, who in the TCG is aligned with the Decepticons by the looks of things! This could be a nod to Brainstorms status as a Decepticon double agent, as revealed during the run of IDWs Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye by James Roberts.
Stores will also get 15 sets of the three card combiner Tidal Wave, allowing you to amass your own dark fleet. Unlike Arcana, you can score Tidal Wave from booster packs of Titan Masters Attack.
The participating stores will also get two Titan Masters Attack posters to help advertise the event.
These are to help stores host their own casual launch parties and be used as give aways or prizes to support the trading card game.

Greetings Seibertronians! For fans of Wizards of the Coast's Official Transformers Trading Card Game, we bring you some big news! Wave 5 of the TCG has been revealed to be called Titan Masters Attack, seemingly based off the Titans Returns line of the Prime Wars Trilogy. The news was found via a pre-order listing found on amazon.com.
This is what the product description has to say about it.
Amazon wrote:Titan Master Characters: Mix and match heads and bodies to customize Titan Masters to fit your playstyle.
The Wreckers: The fan-favorite Autobot special-forces team make their debut in Titan Masters Attack. Led by Sergeant Kup, the Wreckers get the toughest jobs done, no matter what the cost.

As you can also see from the booster box art, a version of Power master Optimus Prime may also appear in the set. The set is due to launch April 17th 2020

A Comment on Backflip Studios
In the past week, news spread about restructuring at Backflip Studios that has lead to a closure of parts of the studio. We want to use this space to give out a clear message that those changes at Backflip do not have any impact on Transformers: Earth Wars or on you, our players.
Space Ape has been running TF:EW, from its development to the day-to-day operation, together with Hasbro, for over 3 years and we will continue doing so. There are no plans other than to stay with you in this game we all love for years to come.

Bug Fixes / Improvements
The following bug fixes/improvements are coming to the game with a content push this Thursday.
We have increased the area of effect for Hound V.A.M.P. and Soundwave H.I.S.S. Glass Gas and Targeting effect. This should also help to keep the number of targets affected in the area more consistent.
Gold Cybertronian Charge Power Core can now inflict up to 21% more damage if uninterrupted. (Previously 15%)
G-Metal Cybertronian Charge Power Core can now inflict up to 30% more damage if uninterrupted. (Previously 15%)
Hot Rod’sBlessing of the Matrix and Nemesis Prime’s Power of Darkness cannot be cast on Quintus Prime Core’s Sharkticons anymore
Counterpunch can now attack targets behind walls.

If you're a fan of Transformers: Earth Wars, then you'll likely know that G.I. Joe is being incorporated into the game!
"The G.I. Joe franchise is making its debut in Transformers: Earth Wars. Players will get the chance to unlock Joe team vehicle versions of Autobots Hound and Jetfire, and Cobra versions of Decepticons Soundwave and Skywarp. A pair of the new characters are scheduled to be released the week of October 21st."
