Fellow Seibertronian SlyTF1 has spotted an updated for the upcoming game Transformers: Devastation, via their Facebook page: a brief bio and close-up of the leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime! Check it out mirrored below, as we find out more about the character and his playability in the game.

In case some of you may have forgotten the SEGA Transformers Human Alliance game, fear not! The Tokyo Joypolis arcade has unveiled its new, updated 'Special' version of it, featuring a system apparently based on the Sega R360, allowing players to move 360°, and also 2 player games. Through Sega’s history, they have launched a variety of games as Medium scale attractions – not necessarily something that would fill up a huge space in an amusement park like a ride but not small enough that would allow for a typical mom & pop arcade to have it either. Some of those have carried the “Special” moniker – The Lost World: Special, House of the Dead 4 Special or Showdown. Now they have taken their popular light-gun game Transformers: Human Alliance and given it the Special works, while hearkening back to another famous gaming technology of theirs – the Sega R360.
With Angry Birds 2 being announced just recently, the Transformers version of the Rovio mobile game has also received some updates: the latest adds a number of new features, such as the new floating sentinel robots, called in to assist by wielding fireballs, lightning storms, and 40 or so skills, which you can create in the Crafting lab. The second big update of potential interest for Transformers fans, is the addition of The Blues playing two different characters: Bluestreak and Prowl! We have seen multiple trailers, and a glimpse of the Activision poster for Transformers: Devastation - now, thanks to the artist behind the piece, Guido Guidi, we get a look at a digital version of the artwork accompanying the game in promotional material, featuring the G1esque full cast! While we had a pretty cool trailer earlier today, IGN now brings up a whopping 10 minutes of beautiful gameplay from Transformers Devastation, featuring Grimlock. It gives us the best idea yet of how this game will look and the variety in the fighting and how the Transformation is handled in a fight. Hasbro showed a general Combiner Wars trailer that used clips from Devastation game and IDW motion comics.
Combiner Wars idea originated with FOC Bruticus.
Devastator being released in DeNA Battle Tactics
Something starts to "cyberform" parts of Earth, humans don't like that, Autobots head to city to investigate cyberforming, points to Megatron. Hasbro stressed the importance of having character arc, Optimus Prime has emotional struggle in game, lots of easter eggs for fans!
Peter Cullen as Optimus, Frank Welker as Megatron, Greg Berger as Grimlock. Greg showed up on panel and did some Grimlock voices, too.
