As
reported earlier,
CVG had an early look at the computer game based on the upcoming
Transformers Movie. Their report was not completely positive. In response to that,
Activision took the time to
defend themselves and the game to CVG, showing that they fully stand behind the project they are still developing.
"
We're really disappointed you guys didn't get an accurate impression of what Transformers: The Game is all about and the direction in which we're headed. A work in progress system was shown that we finished putting together in the early hours of that morning specifically for a first-look presentation".
"
The game is still in development and we're on course to deliver the game Transformers fans are hoping for. The new few weeks will see the game systems integrated and balanced, and we're really looking forward to bringing it out to show you guys once this process is complete!".

Finally if you live anywhere near Burlington New Jersey, pre-order your copy from store 4526 Burlington Mall, a certain Seibertronian would be most happy;-)
-DJ Kevintron
P.S. If you're interested, I already pre-ordered both DS versions and the XBOX360 CE."

IGN has a small article about the Autobot and Decepticon Nintendo DS titles. According to a source close to IGN, the two games will be seperate entities and will not share the same game environments much the way Pokemon games are set up. Even though they will be separate games, you will still be able to connect wirelessly with one another. To read the article, click
