FUNCTION: Strike Coordinator
Most Transformers would simply classify Redsnipe as an Insecticon without much thought. After all, it's common knowledge that various groups of Insecticons hail from disparate worlds, so why question the fact that this seems to contradict most theories on the origins of the Cybertronian race? Redsnipe often feels like the only one on her native planet of QC, or indeed the whole BL system, who does. She is convinced that this lack of even caring about their history is what has made her fellow Vecticons so weak that they'd rather stay hidden from the various aliens that have sought to colonize and mine their world. As the only one of their number who believes they have an obligation to be a warrior race, Redsnipe became her local hive's defacto leader in resisting all invaders.
While all Vecticons have lost any ability they once had to summon weapons from subspace, Redsnipe's tail functions as a versatile weapons array with twin cannons that can utilize a wide variety of ranged armament. To inspire the others to fight, however, she usually charges the enemy head on with her amazing ramming ability and sheer courage, which gives her the added element of surprise when she finally unleashes her superior firepower only in response to a counterattack, leaving her enemies in enough disarray for her hive-mates to take them off guard. Of course, this tactic doesn't always work, and they all know that they only survived the last incursion of those Zentraedi through dumb luck that the exploration party was recalled to join a larger force for a more urgent mission. This finally convinced Mantissa, the Vecticons' greatest scientific genius, that Redsnipe was correct all along in urging them all to get stronger. Her satisfaction at finally having a friend listen to reason quickly turned to horror at the means by which Mantissa was willing to achieve it when Redsnipe watched her devour her own mate Mantessor mid-coitus for the sake of an experiment in personal evolution.
