Wow! Unless I'm mistaken (and I could be), I think this might be the first time that a body-type meant for a bunch of generics in a previous movie gets a toy made in the next movie's line, even if as a named non-generic whose identity is separate from the previous generics whose body-type he shares.

That's just because someone is using the base body design just as Onslaught using Long haul's body or Hooligan with Crowbar or Berserker with Crankcase it's not really notable.

Also while not a character in the movies this has happened before with Dirtboss from ROTF being based on the Scrapper drone from the movie game.

So, assuming that Berserker and Hooligan are the same, and that Mohawk is presumably getting a Legion toy (heard that somewhere), that means that the only :CON: in this movie that needs a toy is Onslaught.

2 points I really wanted to make. Given Bee is supposed to be the leader now, it would make sense for his voice to be repaired. And why not? Cade fixed a mortally wounded Optimus in his barn, why not Bee's voice in a junkyard!

Also, TIE FIGHTERS

Also confirmed that Mohawk dies in that fight (not surprising we only saw his alt mode on set once with Barricade, Onslaught and Hooligan who all have been seen multiple times during filming as well as the fact that those three make it to london)

Between this image and the close-up of when Megatron picks up Squeeks.... am I seeing things or is Meg's half silver and half black/dark gray?

When these movies stopped being liked and making money sure but until then these movies is what we get so I would settle in for the long haul because we are getting two maybe three more movies at least after this.

Bumblebee movie is coming next year and the year after will be Transformers 6 and there are plans for an Animated Transformers movie on Cybertron code named Transformers one.

People such as me like these movies and will continue to see them regardless.

These movies make money, they are not liked. The vast majority of people think these movies are poopy. Making a crapload of money does not make a movie good, nor does it ensure it is a quality story.

So please, let's be real here, these movies are garbage and we all know it.

Contradicting yourself in eight words, that's incredibly well done.

Perhaps a revision? Maybe you meant to say "These movies make money, they are not liked by true fans like myself, anyone who likes these movies are not fans"

Because obviously, if after 4 movies they're still making money, either people like them, or you're wrong.

That's your opinion, and that's fine. But saying that the movies aren't liked isn't really accurate. There are people who love the movies - just look at Sly!

BTW, if you look at his head, Megatron has the red streak Prime has. Maybe both are knights and Megatron is the strike team with a group of revived cons while Optimus is something else?

Either way, it seems Megs and Prime are under the creator influence

(Not meant to be aggresive I just wanted to use this pic for awhile)

That is such an bias opinion trying to pass as a fact it's ridiculous if that was even romotely true why do people watch them and buy the blue rays, why do I and many other people happen to like the movie?

The thing is the people who don't like the movies happen to be a vocal minority.

The movies have flaws but which movies do not you want to know what else makes money that has garbage stories yet is liked anyways?

Most of the marvel films to have come out in the last while since their stories always use the same general superhero formula yet those movies have fans.

See we do exist!

The movies are meant to be summer action flicks you the kind that nobody watches for the story and just for the action and cheesy one liners.

Yeah, I'm wondering if they'll keep Mark Ryan as the voice actor or if he'll sound younger.

Those drones definitely don't look like TIE Fighters though, standard TIEs don't have the angled wings.

:( I thought talking with us gave you joy too.

I personally dont get why anyone would be offended enough by these movies to have to prove to us they are bad. These movies know what they are and by this point so do we. We can either enjoy them for what they are (and personally, as long as they feature the robots a lot I am fine) or avoid them. If people think they are crap, then why keep looking into them. Why be on these boards bitching over and over. Its like going on a board of the fast and the furious franchise and saying "man, cant believe it stars Vin Deisel again, he sucks as an actor". If these films were hated by everyone, then they wouldnt keep making money (like Uwe Boll movies), simple fact. Doesnt mean they are the best, it just means they are well liked by the world and make a lot of people happy. Why anyone would like to rain on anyone's parade is beyond me and a serious waste of time. The small crowd's negative opinion will never stop this film from making another Billion dollars and convincing the studios to make more.

Long live Transformers!

Nope just some dude named Nitro his toy has been revealed.

Now that I think about it besides Megatron, Barricade and Onslaught (maybe?) the other 3 cons (4 if Berserker is in the movie which he probably is since he is in wave 1 with Barricade and Bumblebee and a suburban was seen on set matching his vehicle mode) the others are just a bunch of seemingly standard troopers who so happened to outlast higher ranked Decepticons.

Kinda like the Aoe Autobots but with more made up names which is fine new characters are always a good thing.

This is a cool looking trailer, and I'm looking forward to the movie. Though I will say, the whole "Hurr durr GURRRL POWER" thing is a bit overdone and kinda obnoxious. Yes, we get it. You have a female character. How progressive of you. How about you just have her actually DOING badass things rather than talking to the camera about how badass she is?

cringeworthy feminist pandering aside though, it looks good.

Til all are one and The Lost Light show that is not true at all. Incidentally, Megatron had a cybertronian mode in the first two films. In my opinion, the point of the franchise is robots that transform. Is it used for disguise sometimes? Sure. But often not for long as humans become aware of them.

In any event, the trailers look alright but then they did for AoE and that turned out to be a steaming pile. As the series has progressed, I admit to have lost interest as the films seem to get progressively worse. I may go see this. I may not. I've not decided yet. Saying that, I still adore the first film and enjoy the third.

I think there's an interesting discussion to be had on Humans in Transformers fiction; but for me it basically boils down to "They're not necessary but if you have to have them it's possible to do something of interest with them". Out of the fiction I've seen Animated and RiD/Transformers/OP does the latter best though I've also heard Marvel did it well.

Love the new trailer. Bit concerned about Grimlock. You got the most badass looking Grimlock pretty much ever and the possiblity they're turning him into that damn Season 3 cartoon characterisation worries me.
