Honestly I wouldn't be totally surprised to see them bring back Shockwave. A somewhat-recognisable character, they can easily redeco previous toys...

I mean Megatron needs SOME actual dudes on his team, right? It'd be pretty lame if his 'return' just consisted of him leading a bunch of dumb human drones. Cue him reviving Barricade, Shockwave, Brawl and everyone but Starscream.

Shockwave only had his eye ripped out by Prime and he only lost one side of his torso they can totally bring Shockwave back if they want to heck Barricade is coming back and he was blinded and had his leg blown up.

There are two confirmed plot points from people on set in the movie one is that there is this prison where cons are being held and that there is a junkyard where dead robots are being dumped into despite that some of them are not completly dead which I think Barricade comes from the latter.

It's a recycled KSI Boss body-type with Shockwave's head.

Right but there is more then the Shockwave head first of all he has Shockwave's tube on his left arm second he has white human military missiles on his left shoulder and this one is a bit of a stretch but he has silver coloring that is a little darker and different from a KSI boss but looks a lot like the color scheme of a human military fighter jet.

Edit: took a closer look at the screenshot I posted (if you want to see it in a bigger size open the pic in a new tab)

Shockboss has a red stripe on his right shoulder and although a bit obscure his right arm is different from his left which looks like there is a cockpit shaped thing on his right arm.

None of those minor cosmetic additions contradict the fact that it's still the KSI Boss body-type CG model at its core, which is the point I was making.

Do you not want this franchise to stay fresh in the minds of kids? Remember, the key point of these films is "Sell more toys"

When these movies stopped being liked and making money sure but until then these movies is what we get so I would settle in for the long haul because we are getting two maybe three more movies at least after this.

Bumblebee movie is coming next year and the year after will be Transformers 6 and there are plans for an Animated Transformers movie on Cybertron code named Transformers one.

People such as me like these movies and will continue to see them regardless.

I never said otherwise I was just continuing the discussion by adding more to the conversation such as stating there are more additional changes.

You know what forums like this are for.

Both of you ... there's no need for this sort of language or imagery.
Now play nice while I go add to the swear filter.

Anyone else notice that in that one shot where Cade gets knocked out of the window by that flying drone, there's some kind of smaller alien robot in the right of the shot?

Yep it's either Quintessa or Cogman's head's robot form (Bay stated that Cogman is a headmaster)

I suspect this Trailer was made SPECIFICALLY to run in front of Beauty and the Beast - as it's awfully female in it's slant so much so the robots are barely in it and likewise the rest of the cast.

Does Squeeks even talk - or is he like a minicon and beeps - as I've yet to her him speak.

I'd not mind if the made a number of slanted Trailers - the one we had before was kinda Optimus Focused.. so I guess they could do a Squeeks or Bee trailer. the one they marketed as a Dinobots one - wasn't especially rich in Dinobots though.

I suppose Bay or one of his cassette Minions had been watching Transformers Prime as that image of Hound and whatshername is rather like Miko and Bulkhead.

Ultimately it doesn't really matter what the Humans do in these Movies as I'm only going to watch it once - if that and just fast-forward past them on any subsequent viewings to me Transformers Movies need humans as much as Matrix Sequels needed Cave dancing / sex scenes.

I must investigate the possibility of a programme that autoskips all the human scenes in Transformers Movies... but then that is what Youtube clips are for.

I'm not really much for Transformers Media anyway - I really mostly like the toys anyhow. The other content is just a novelty item to me.

Their on Earth why would there not be humans?

The whole point of the franchise is Robots that Transform into real vehicles for disguise and Earth is the only place with them Cybertronian modes never really work that well on their own the humans have always and will continue to be an important part of this franchise.

A Cybertron movie would not really stand on it's own I mean most of the time Cybertron has always just been a mass of greys and bronzes with almost no other colors a movie on Cybertron would have to be a cartoon and at that point why not just make a tv show?

That's why there has never been a movie or tv show that exclusively only takes place on Cybertron.

Are they repairing Bumblebee's voice in the trailer? It kinda looks like it!

Also, those flying drones look a lot like TIE Bombers to me.

That Crankcase-looking con on the roof looks like it could be the VW bus (Hooligan). He's got a really rusty cape when he tosses the gun.

Wow! Unless I'm mistaken (and I could be), I think this might be the first time that a body-type meant for a bunch of generics in a previous movie gets a toy made in the next movie's line, even if as a named non-generic whose identity is separate from the previous generics whose body-type he shares.
