Most transformers that turn into vehicles, turn into what was around from 84 to now, due to accessibility to molds and licensing agreements. But we do get some older looking TFs at times. I am trying to come up with a general list, let me know which others you remember:

SS WWII Bumblebee/Hot Rod
All VW Bug molds from the Bumbelbee movie line
Various 70s Camarro molds from Movie era (though that doesn't sound too vintage)
Powerdrive
HFTD Hubcap
Cybertron Downshift ?????

On that note Blitzwing's jet mode is a MiG-25 which had its first flight in 1965 (his tank mode is a Japanese Type-74 from 1975, is that too new because it's more recent than the Seekers' F-15 Eagle alt modes from 1972). Warpath is a 1969 Sheridan M551A1 tank. RotF Jetfire's Blackbird alt mode is from 1964.

I feel like the cut off should be 1969, otherwise most of the early Diaclone based figures would fit the list.

Yeah, cutting it off post 60s era makes sense. But it's more about physical look than a precise date with military vehicles.

Well, this thread will be very limited due to how little old vehicles there is.
So why not make a wishlist as well?

My first wish would be for a Ford Model T. The most sold car ever before the VW Beetle. It's also the car that pioneered so many things.
