Amazon.jp Prime Shipping Question

I'm considering getting Amazon Prime from Amazon.jp for the potential savings on shipping and wanted to check and see if anyone within the US or Canada already has this and can confirm whether free shipping from Prime applies to shipping from Japan to North America. If so, then I think I'll probably take the plunge and get prime with getting MP Raiden through them, as even a having a year long Prime membership would still be cheaper than shipping for the first 3 MP Raiden bots. If we end up getting 3 within a year, then having Prime should be cheaper than paying for shipping on each one.

Can anyone confirm if I have things correct, or does shipping tot he US not qualify for free shipping?

Afraid not. It's cheaper than US Prime because it's really only good for streaming and a few other things like Prime deals. I had it for a few months, I don't think I ever used it and couldn't figure out how to get music to work. I doubt they'll ever do any sort of Prime shipping from japan with prices continuing to climb steadily.

Thanks, I figured as much, and found out for sure by taking a free trail for 1 month when I just ordered something. One of my daughters is really into amine, so I'll let her check out the video and music for the next 29 days before cancelling.

If you can get the music to work then it's probably worth it since a lot of that stuff doesn't get released over here due to licensing rights.
