No, they have not been released individually in the US. They did land in ports and were sent to Target, but Target never stocked them in stores.

Do we know why or is it just one of those mysteries of collecting?

mystery right now

I finally got the RotB 3-pack part 2, and I at long last have a deluxe Mirage! I have been dying to own him, and I am glad I finally do.

quick thoughts:

Mirage is a good toy, and I really like how they made him work, Much cleaner than the SS one looks. I really wish he had the right head though.

Bee is interesting, glad they tried something different, but it is clunkier than the SS one for sure, but still decent.

Airazor is cool, I think she is a much more interesting toy that the SS one. I have in mind for my Beasts to display one in beast mode and one in robot mode on the main movie shelf. SS Airazor is much more posable in beast mode, and is bigger in that mode, so she will be the bird while the mainline one is the robot.

To go with that the mainline Rhinox will be the beast mode, and the SS one will be the robot mode. Cheetor will be mainline in beast mode and SS in robot mode. I am not sure on Primal yet, but leaning mainline beast and SS robot.

Ya know, the irony isn't lost on me that my 2nd 3-pack arrived when I still had Scourge out after adding his upgrades

The Rise of the Beasts toyline isn't done yet. While all mainline toys have been made, distribution is all over the place and just now are Americans finding the big simple Scourge toy from the Titan Changer line at Walmart. While obviously not a toy aimed at collectors, there are Scourge completionists out there and of course this gives parents a big and affordable Scourge toy to buy for their kids. We have some video reviews for you below if you are curious, and where you can check out that very detailed front grill.

This toy is part of the second wave of Titan Changers where he is the only new figure.

TITAN Changer Scourge.

A character voiced by Peter Dinklage.

Ironic.

I’ve seen very little ROTB main line and SS figures at my local Target, and Walmart seems to be filled with the shelf warmers like transforming masks and nerf guns.

He's a TITAN of an actor in everything he does.

Fitting.

It's funny how Transformers has had Game of Thrones actors both on the big and small screens this year.

All I've seen is the "kiddie" stuff, which I guess is all that matters when it comes to tie-in merch being available while it's actually in theaters to capture FOMO.

Isn't it strange that the lack of movie toys for ROTB happened at all? The movie was delayed while the toys were supposed to be all ready and sitting at warehouses for a year. But when the movie's actually release and people don't see the toys....

I just don't even bother to go to the stores for toy hunts anymore. Hardly ever any sales since 2019. What they have are all kiddie lines. New CHUG/SS are rarely seen unless they're the few shelfwarmers.

The ROTB Beast Alliance line (the ones with the weapons, not the ones wear the bot wears the beast) got some pretty cool figures though. I wouldn't mind getting a few of those if I have more shelf space.

FYI, according to Hasbro toy sales went up and the ROTB line sold well so as far as their concerned the movie did well.

Yes, but that's a comparison to the dismal 2022 year. On the retail floors, ROTB (and BBM) got far less presence than the Bay movies. Those glorious days of TF toys steamrolling over everything else (even Star Wars, DC & Marvel shelves) are long gone. Still if Hasbro's doing well, it's all good for us fans.

With bombs after bombs (some undeserved, some earned), Paramount might go down before TF:1 (hopefully AFTER MI:DR Pt. 2 so Cruise's fans have some closure), which might be a GOOD thing as it forces Hasbro to shop for another studios for the TF IP, and negotiate better terms for creative controls on the bots & story.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_P ... %80%932029)

I loved BBM & like ROTB enough. But I'm ready to give up on caring for any more live-action TF. Paramount's hesistance on bebooting the franchise and not caring about continuity between movies is making the movies very 'meh.' They're not nothing more than toy commercials now.... and not even GOOD toy commericals because most of the toys doesn't even look close to the on-screen designs (I went with Yolopark).

TF:1 sounds good on paper. And putting TF movies back in animation & on Cybertron is the right thing to do, at the very least to keep costs down and make them profitable for long-term viability.

The crazy things animation can do nowadays, like what we saw in Spiderverse, TMNT, Puss in Boots, etc. is wild.

Ya know, I really thought ROTB would pull a Puss in Boots, I was wrong.

Well, we do have TF:1 to look forward to. Hope the animation doesn't disappoint. Netflix's WFC or Paramount's Earthspark animation weren't bad for streaming, but for movies, Paramount really, REALLY need to kick it up a notch or two. Need to be a bit more visually imaginative, and the designs can translate well into toys.

There was a lack of ROTB toys in your area? I hear people just complain about Movie toys clogging shelves?

I hear people not getting the mainline and SS ones (which is also the case in my retail area). The Bee & Primal masks I've seen in Gamestops. Only ROTB line I see everywhere are the Beast Alliance ones. I think I spotted a Titan changer in my Walmart. SS ROTB OP is in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line is nowhere to be seen yet?

But I've given up of toy hunts since 2019. My local Gamestop & TRU closed. Al the nearest WM, TRU, GS I go to are absolute crap. The regular TF sections are at most like 4 feet wide, that's it. But I did saw the dedicated one or two standee in the ailes for Earthspark & ROTB. Really sad looking compared to the early Bay '07-DOTM days.

There's just some serious miscalculations on both Hasbro and major retailers parts for the past several years. Hasbro came out with some many different lines overstepping each others and the retailers don't know what's popular to order from Hasbro.

Physical toys is a diminishing market for the masses (parents buying them for kids), Hasbro need to think about reducing productions on those gimmick/kids lines, but put the effort into making better figures for collectors.

One of my local Walmarts still has the RotB display up, plus the Beast Armor figures were quickly clearanced out. CLEARANCED!!! The rest is still hanging around, not budging.

Not getting any myself, if anything just the weapon ones.

So, as it was in the past we had a case of feast or famine with the distribution of ROTB toys. Here's the other thing, Mirage was THE guy for the movie and for its entire theatrical run, there was only ONE Mirage toy available, boggles the mind.

i've pointed this out a couple of times, it is really baffling that he only had that one toy available. He was the star. I'd say this time around Bee and arcee got a bit too many toys for their appearances. Arcee's beast weaponizer release could have been a Mirage, and either Beast mode Bee or the beast combiner Bee could've been Mirage.

Also, I am STILL looking for battlemaster Airazor, battle changer Scourge, beast weaponizer Arcee, beast combiner Optimus and Scourge, and Autobots unite Bumblebee and Battletrap.

I did get the titan changer Scourge though. Robot mode is gross, but the alt mode is where this guy is actually a fun thing to own.

Also interesting, this release of Scourge uses the Prime Predacon symbols, on his grill and arm, so Sky Lynx and Darksteel can be pseudo-canonically confirmed as Scourge victims!
