Megatron's "I would have waited an eternity for this" face is kinda spooky and unnerving! I love it!

Do we know for sure if every site is doing the orange plug for American purchases? I'm preordered with BBTS.

If the majority of sites are required to do the plug, then I guess I won't feel like I got the "altered version".

I know of one American retailer that will try to not go with the orange plug.

Just spoke with the owner of The Chosen Prime; he said that if it doesn't come from the factory itself, they're not going to do it. I guess it varies on which retailer you import it from.

I was able to pre-order mine from Amazon Japan tonight. They're giving a release date of April 1st. I'm really excited for this figure, it's amazing to see the leap in design from a figure that's almost 10 years old.

As of right now it's $180.69 since it's Amazon I have a pre-order guarantee which means the price could go down. That happened with Leo Prime.

I think the price is rather due to the high parts count necessary for the transformation.

Stupid question, what kind of batteries does Megatron's Fusion Cannon need?

Same here :( So it'll probably be May till I get Megs. Oh well, I prefer to wait a little longer and save on shipping

This is a dumb question since none of us have him in hand but does anyone have an idea on how to remove the orange plug from the gun barrel? I'm purchasing through BBTS. Any advice is appreciated!

Blow dryer but carefully. Don't use solvents on the adhesive.

Yep, still waiting on Grapple and Cheetor. Maybe I'll ship Megatron and Soundwave together via EMS, I'll probably be the cheapest option anyway.

Might be the angle, but the gun barrel looks better.

Thanks to a few different sources, we have for you today a new in-hand video that shows off the highly anticipated MP-36 Megatron! The video features no commentary, but it does show some nice close-ups of the figure along with its accessories. The video also looks into some of the articulation, and if you are a fan of ratcheting joints, some joints here should make you very happy. Check out the video below, and be ready! This figure is set to drop next month!

It looks like the gun barrel on his back can be shifted around a bit. It was sitting behind his arm in box, with the sight facing straight ahead, but behind his back out of the box, with the sight more askew.
