I've been using this as my Roller for a few years now, though I swapped it out for the Takara Tomy "Movie Advanced" version with the translucent silver plastic (for cartoon accuracy). I wouldn't at all be opposed to a new roller, though, I'd prefer it be Battle Master sized instead of Micromaster sized to scale better with Earthrise Optimus Prime.

That Roller is a microbattlemaster or would it be a battlemicromaster :-?

You're right, BM sized would be better and more likely to see a release. It'd also be cool if it only has two modes, drone and shield/ramp.

I misread your post at first, I thought you said shield/amp and thought to myself, what they're making another Knights of unicron set

Did you mean shield/"axe"?

HA! I never thought of that as a guitar. Nicely done!!

Now, to clear off an Ikea shelf for the Knights box set. "Outta the way. Make room for others. I say it is survival of the fittest."

New (well, new-ish) rumors for Earthrise (and Movie Masterpiece, but that's not important right now):

According to JakeToys and MEGA-Decepticon's weibo, Hasbro China's official Taobao store have put up listings below for pre-order (and since had them taken down). But they have managed to save screen grabs as proof.

All listings slated for 2020 release:

- MPM Mv1 Starscream

- MPM Mv1 Ratchet

-Earthrise Titan Scorponok

-Earthrise Commander class Skylynx

- Earthrise Voyager Quintesson

- Earthrise Deluxe "Quintessa" (used the G1 planet as placeholder pic but may be a re-imagining of the TLK version??)

- Earthrise Deluxe Runamuck

We already knew about Titan class Scorponok from NYCC and Deluxe class "Runamok" from his winning the fan poll.

Commander class Sky Lynx was previously speculated from an earlier rumor about the next Commander class being one that was said to "complement" Titan class Omega Supreme.

Voyager class Quintesson and Deluxe class "Quintessa", however, are both very new rumors.

Interesting :-? Will be interesting to see how they adapt the quints to the play style.

That's so odd... I mean, Sky Lynx would definitely be interesting to see, especially if he has compatibility with the bases and micromasters of Earthrise, but I can't imagine why we'd be getting Quintessons or Quintessa :-? Maybe Quintessa could be one of the Allicons, but renamed? I really can't think of any reason to have two Quintesson characters if it is like TLK's version. This list seems a bit odd to me, especially because it lists two characters that don't really fit the Earth theme...

Nor does Scorponok, yet he's officially confirmed.

I'm guessing there is some blurring of the lines between the three series (and even with earlier ones like titan master Scorponok) due to logistics.

I know Hasbro has said they have to balance the amount of plastic used among wave mates (which can affect size of figures and number of accessories), plus they ensure that all the characters of a wave are distinctly different colors (which helps sales.) I'm guessing this is responsible for any mixing of the three parts of the recent storyline.

SO, I'm never surprised to figures that fit better with earlier or later waves.

But he's also the last big Titan character. Aside from repaints, there's nowhere else to really go with the titans as far as I'm aware?

I'd still love to see a Metrotitan and Black Zarak... but I get your point. Maybe a giant Monstructor?

Only giant ones left (save for planetformers) are obscure or newer additions, such as High Tide, Croaton, Majin Zarak, IDW1's Titans, etc.

How does he not fit the theme? He's a classic G1 toy that has a base mode.

Not really fussed what line Scorponoks released in as long as he comes out, at least he has an Earth mode unlike most of the 'not cybertron' mode Siege figures :)

Maybe the Voyager Quintesson will just be an AlphaQ retool/redo though the old figure is likely the equivalent of todays leader class.

Unless Skylynx fits well with masterpiece figures he is going to be a pass for me as I'm doubting it will be as good as the original/encore toy. No complaints about saving money though.

His altmodes aren't Earthen like those of the others seen so far.

Is there any other background information on these rumors? Are JakeToys or MEGA-Decepticon reputable? Does the Taobao store typically use random placeholder images for its entries?

I know rumors are typically thin gruel, but this seems incredibly suspect. My own history of predictions is incredibly poor, but I don't see a single plausible shred of evidence here. Plus, like, why would just these figures be posted, there isn't a single complete wave.

Guessing because it's doesn't fit the timeline of the ark leaving cybertron and the bots getting their earth modes. (ie. seasons 1-2)

Scorponok is basically a holdover from Titans Return with his headmaster gimmick. They simply can't sell us two titan toys in a year, so we had to wait a little bit for him.

Hoping he ties in with an upcoming wave of more beasts like the Horrorcons, Monstructor, Dinoking, and other stragglers like the junior headmasters we are missing.

Rumours of Upcoming Figures include Earthrise Quintesson, Quintessa, Skylynx and More

Listings on Hasbro China's official Taobao store supposedly leaked a lot of new info and have since been taken down. We cannot confirm if everything below is true, so we will take it as rumours for now. The new figures listed are some we knew were coming, like deluxe Runamuck and Titan Scorponok as well as Movie Masterpiece toys Starscream and Ratchet (this is not the first time we hear of these). However, there was also a listing for a commander class Skylynx, which makes perfect sense for that size class, as well as two Quintesson themed listings. One is for a voyager class Quintesson and another is for a deluxe class Quintessa. Both would be for the Earthrise line. Below is what fellow Seibertronian Sabrblade posted on our boards, including the direct source of these rumours on Weibo.

I am surprised we still think there's a logic to this, there isn't. Many alt modes in Siege were not cybertronian anyways.

I hope the Quintessa, Quintesson, and Runamok rumors are true. Also hoping to get Omega Supreme and Scorponok on an Ollie's sale like Fort Max and Trypticon, otherwise might never see them :(

Also, Sky Lynx as commander is awesome.
