Yep. Epic Optimus Prime is two feet tall.

That's the "base" Optimus. Too bad it don't transform though.

There is that big mind-boggling Optimus plane whose wings are inexplicably car carrier trailers.

Then there'e that huge Optimus base playset where smaller bots can fit inside like carrion devouring a corpse.

Finally there's that pretty big Optimus with a sizeable trailer that can carry many "deluxes". However, the only way to get that is through Ebay.

Are you referring to this one for the last one?

I'm familiar with jumbo jet. Not sure about that base... Can you point me in the direction of that one? Thanks!

Huh, just found this....I think it's the 2016 re-release of the trailer Optimus playset...thoughts?

Yet, his chest opens up to reveal a control center, his backside is full of mutli-level playset platforms, and his body is covered in 5mm ports meant to arm him with all sorts of weapon accessories from other toys.

Can someone please confirm that these two are the same figure (don't care about the extra characters)?

They appear to be the same with slightly different stickers/paint....

Same characters, but different molds. That playset with Optimus, his trailer, and his friends would make your child NUT! That's a great starting point for a young kid.

It looks like all the Optimuses with trailer you have shown are the exact same toys but in different releases. So go with the one available. ;)^

New Rescue Bots Products Hitting Shelves: Stealth Bee 3pack and Monster Tow Truck Optimus

The Rescue Bots line is not something Hasbro would ever reveal outright since it doesn't concern collectors BUT we know there are completionists out there and this is indeed a great line to start off any young fan with so parents who are fans tend to want to know what product is out there. Well, we have 2 new products to share with you.

Firstly, a three pack of Bumblebees is stealth decos were found at Ross. Since it's at Ross, it means it was product destined for release a while back at another store (like Walmart or target) but that chose never to put these on shelves and instead just dump it at Ross. That would explain why it still has the older packaging. The sighting was posted here.

Image

We also have a brand new product found in Canada at Toysrus. It's a bigger version of the monster truck Optimus Prime with different deco from the original smaller mold. We put an old stock pic of that initial figure for comparison. The sighting was posted here. We also have stock images from Ripley showing this new toy.

Video Review for 2021 Tow Truck Optimus Prime from Transformers Rescue Bots Academy

While the new subline for Rescue Bots this year is Dinobot themed, we still have remnants of Transformers Rescue Bots Academy hitting shelves randomly worldwide. One of those is this new Optimus Prime which turns into a Monster Truck Tow truck. He is big and durable, fun for any kid aged between 2 and 4 (3 being the ideal age for this more simplistic toy) and the tow gimmick works really well. It is unclear at which stores in the US he will show up at but if you are interested, here is a review.

Walmart.ca currently has the latest big Rescue Bots toy, Dinobot Adventures Optimus Prime T-Rex, for parents who want to get a big gift this Christmas for the youngest Transformers fans. This is a redeco of a previously released toy. It's basically a 9 inch Optimus Prime that turns into a T Rex in on step and has lights and sounds.

Here is the link if you wish to purchase it: https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/transforme ... 0203870015

Yeah, it still works. I also haven't seen any Dino stuff at Walmart or Target. Haven't really seen much of any Rescue Bots stuff in stock at all, their space has been a big void most of the year.

Same at my walmarts and toysrus. Those Bumblebee and Optimus dinobots at the lower price point sell out very quickly at every restock. Hasbro is underestimating the popularity of those toys.

Ratchet was a great addition to the Rescue Bots cast in the Rescue Bots Academy spinoff so it's nice to see a new toy for him getting released for young kids. While his mold is based on the Medix transformation he has a nice new headsculpt. We also have news of a new Heatwave toy coming from the same line. This Heatwave turns into a plane. All the images come from e-bay where these new toys can currently be purchased.

Medix being retooled into Uncle Ratchet is kind of appropriate.
