I think this might be the 2nd best Snarl in my collection. He looks neat, and I find him to be pretty fun

I love my fruity AoE dinos but they are all sleeping in storage for some years now.

I should take them out and give them sole love again.

I like green AOE Snarl as well because my G2 Snarl was the green one.

Finally got my hands on my very first Quintesson toy with that Cyberverse set. Not extraordinary, but it does the job. I really love that both Prowl and Shockwave have mind control helmets, and the packaging have a background.

Image

Too bad the helmets can't store anywhere except by dangling on the Quintesson's tentacles.

Image

BTW, those helmets have different reds. One is darker. Hard to see on camera.

Image

Shockwave and Prowl are the Armor molds. Those are pretty nice. Shockwave is a wee bit darker than the regular release, but it's my firs time with Prowl.

Image

Shockwave is still good, but Prowl is the clear winner here. I think it may be my favorite Prowl toy to date!

Image

Overall, for 20$CAN, that set is worth getting. 8-)

Those mind control helmets remind me of head crabs from Half Life :-?

It's funny that that set came with the two guys who died immediately before the Quintessons showed up, meaning those two were no longer around by the time everyone was wearing those helmets.

I never, ever saw that set at my local TrU. Beside, the clearance price was 23.48$can based on website archives. So 20$can at Marshall's is the best deal yet in Canada.

But you gave me the answer anyway :D

Newly Revealed Cyberverse Toy has a Live Action Movie Optimus Prime Robot Mode

This is a really odd reveal, for many reasons. Firstly, it's a reveal for the Cyberverse line, a line which seemed done. Especially with a new kids show already revealed that will have its own toyline. Also, we don't usually get reveals for this line, since it's not made for fans (and there's no preorder for these). And lastly, the big one, this doesn't look at all like Cyberverse Optimus Prime. Optimus in Cyberverse has the evergreen design which we have seen for years now and which we will keep seeing, like in the upcoming Earthspark cartoon. This Optimus Prime, in robot mode, looks exactly like the recent live action Optimus Prime from the Bumblebee movie (and supposedly the Rise of the Beasts Movie too). Look at the arms, the chest, it's that BB Movie Prime. So, it begs the question, is this actually our first look at a toy from the Rise of the Beasts line, but in Cyberverse packaging. Is this the tactic Hasbro will use to release these already produced toys which are supposed to be out soon? Or will the ROTB toys still come out this year in ROTB packaging and this is just an extra toy for another line. No answers, only questions for now. That alt mode is also odd, since it resembles the one Optimus had in Beast Hunters, while also looking a bit like Legacy Bulkhead's, which supposedly will also be made into an Optimus Prime toy.

We do have some more details about this specific toy. It is 9-inches, so a pretty good size, and it transforms from truck to bot by smashing it on the floor, a tactic used in Age of Extinction toys as well. It will retail for $31.49 when it hits retailers in October.

Let us know what you think. You can click here to see the original article from comicbook.com.

Why does that look like a better Bulkhead truck than Legacy?

Reminds me more of his Animated vehicle than his legacy alt mode does.

I think THIS is the Optimus based on Bulkhead that we will see in Legacy.

Funny how they chose to end the toyline with a reference to another part of the franchise. Though it does look pretty good.

Very very strange.

Robot mode has definite Bumblebee movie Prime parts, arms, chest, legs, very much pointing to BB Prime.

Alt mode however point to the Legacy Prime repaint of Bulkhead which is even stranger.

Is this supposed to be a mashup of different Primes? Or is this what that Bullhead repaint is going to look like?

It's clearly not Earthspark Prime in any way, so is this just a one off? A new line of Cyberverse figures based on the Legacy designs?

This seems super out of left field even for Hasbro.

As much as this gives me hope for a possible combining Volcanicus, I have to agree with Big Willie Styles and this is a teaser for the Rise of Beasts line, except it's coming several months AFTER the line is supposed to hit.

Haha, and yeah that's the confusing bit. We'll see what happens in a month and a half. If toys don't come out then they reoriented themselves in time for the packaging phase.

Cyberverse started with simple RID repacks and is seemingly ending with simple RotB pre-packs. Feels appropriate. Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if the whole RotB line gets released under Cyberverse and then some choice figures get reissued or retooled for next year.

People in the know (supposedly) are talking online in various message boards now that this toy has been shown. I covered that here, though I guess the discussion will continue here.

Warrior Snarl is a pretty neat toy. So good that I can forgive his partsforming tail.
