If they're willing to invest in further retools, most importantly new lower legs and new feet (*sideyes the 3P chuckleheads*), I could maybe see Brave Maximus happening. But they would need to do what they could to bring the city mode closer to the G1 Fort Max mold for him to have the requisite kid appeal.

Dunno what that's about, but hey! Since this thread has been resurrected, anyone have any idea what the next titan after metroplex will be?

No one.

But personally, I do hope for Armada Tidalwave.

I can see a Titan Tidalwave to go with the already known Armada Megs. Would be nice for a commander class Armada Optimus

While hasbro won't officially reveal the next Titan and commander class till next year, we did get the leak about Metroplex in November.

I still would rather see Tidal Wave as a Commander so he better scales with the rest of the Armada figures. As much as I liked the video game, I don't need him to be that big.

How about both? A purple commander figure like in that shot, and a toy accurate Titan class figure? I know it's not gonna happen, but it would be the perfect solution. Just like I'm waiting on commander sized Scorponok and Maximus to represent the comic versions.

I feel the same about CC Tidal Wave. I also have a feeling the Titan for 2023 is going to be The Nemesis. It's been on the box of The Ark and Cybertron Metroplex. Still...for every other Titan, there was a 4 year gap until their rival was produced...so anything is possible.

So 4 years till Titan Class Cybertron Menasor then

I know a lot of fans want more UT representation, but man...that would be scraping the bottom of the Titan barrell  . Besides wasn't there a pretty big size difference between Metroplex and every other character, even the other citizens of Gigantion? I want to say Cybertron Menasor would probably be better as a CC, but I haven't watched it in so long....

It was mainly a joke about the rivals thing ;)
They could always do a Titan class Starscream I suppose :-?

Oh God, please no.
The OG is enough.

speaking of jokes...Starscream's size was all over the place in Cybertron. Maybe if we get a $600 Haslab Primus next year, we can get a $700 "Supreme" Haslab Starscream in 2025 ;) .

Titan Armada Unicron, but no Minicon pegs anywhere.

Incidentally I think we might be hearing about the next HasLab during PulseCon. There are no active projects running and during one of the live streams they did say they're currently working on it so something is coming for sure (but it wont be an Optimus Prime, that's the only hint we got).

I wonder what it'll be this time, unless they do a primus to accompany Unicron but I do doubt that.

Let's hope the next HASLAB will not be another Disney Star Wars instant failure like Reva's Lightsaber. (A shame about the Rancor though.).

I think VS showed they could do a high quality toy/ Haslab project at a lower price point. I'd love for the next Haslab to be Monstructor or Dinoking set (6 Voyager size bots and combiner height 18 inches) with premium articulation and paint, if it was under $300 I'd back it.

Or a CC size Deszaurus for around $150. I'd back that as well.

A $600 Primus to accompany Unicron would definitely be shooting for the stars ( no pun intended). I couldn't back it, but it would be amazing to see.

Especially if in abet mode, there would be that hollow bit with LED lighting all over.

I think the Nemesis would be a good candidate for the next HasLab project. That way it won't take a spot away from another Titan that's an actual Transformer and we still get the Ark's opposite.

Thanks for the reminder on my reminder Kanrabat! :-P Yes on Tidalwave please, please, please :HASBRO: / :TAKARATOMY: .

But I had this thread as a reminder because I didn't know where else to state the following without making a new thread.....

With the upcoming Alpha Trion on the horizon and me with my Botcon Alpha I'm not sure to part ways for what I consider an upgrade or not.

I know many fans who are completists would keep both no problem...unfortunately I'm not like that. The new Alpha will be my new Neo G1 figure unless I hope not something better comes along.

Sooooo if you had the 2007 Botcon Alpha would you keep it and get the new one as well or could you consider selling it or other because of the huge advances the new figure will have....? :VEHI:

I'm still hoping a Cyberverse Iaconus ends up as a titan in the near future. Loved that guy

Easy repaint / remold of Legacy Metroplex? :-?
If yes, this could be a nice Select release.

....not even CLOSE.

Metroplex is tall, lanky, and has a big ass club you in the head weapon.

Iaconus is a large, thick, muscular WAR TITAN who would need double the bulk of Metroplex, and his weapons are a sword and shield.

Iaconus needs an original mold. No other Titan really comes close to matching his stature

I can see where Kanra's coming from though. Take the plastic from the axe and use it to fill out the torso, retool the shoulders, abs and below the knees, and work in the sword and shield and I think it could work. It'd be sort of like when T30 Metroplex got retooled into Fort Max, but potentially better.

There's also always the Ark. Remove Mainframe and there would be a lot of things they could do to upgrade that mold.

That's if they insisted on a retool, a new mold would indeed be ideal.

My point was also the transformation based on the only toy we got in Cyberverse.

Well, here's my question: Do you collect Shattered Glass stuff? Because BotCon Alpha Trion represents Shattered Glass Alpha Trion. Not the original intent of the figure, considering SG came the next year and it has a red Autobot symbol, but that's who he is now.

As far as Titans go, I'm still hoping somewhat for Brave Maximus. If they made new lower legs (at the very least) it'd be passable. And even if they didn't, a new use of that mold might push the 3P chuckleheads to actually put in the effort finally.

I'm tempted to pick up Siege Shockwave and maybe Jetfire... I'm unsure... both are overpriced at this point IMHO. I'm not in love with Shockwave's alt mode, and I never really cared that most for Jetfire as a character... thoughts?

Siege Shockwave? OVERPRICED?
HOW?

The thing was like roaches in stores for a long time and sold at heavy discount for so long! Just look up a bit more and you can find one for cheap if you just search for a bit longer. Siege Shockwave is a fantastic figure and you can go crazy with the extra parts.

I have a Siege Shockwave MISB that I could sell you if you want. Shipping from Canada to the USA may be a dealbreaker (at least 30$US for shipping alone) but if you're interested, PM me.

As for Siege Jetfire, you had to get him when it came out. Because THAT one was underproduced and VERY popular. If you want him, be prepared to pay the price.
