Don't be so OCD on Brawn. A bit of "battle damage" fits him perfectly anyway.
Beside depending on where the scuff mark is, you can always cover it up with the excellent Reprolabels set: https://toyhax.com/for-studio-series-86 ... brawn.html

Fair enough. I already asked about upgrade kits, but are there any sticker sets that you consider essential?

Oh, there are many. But it depends on what figures you have on hand.

On top of my head, any sets that REALLY improves the figures are. For example:

Legacy Lazer Optimus Prime / Toxitron.

Legacy Miner Megatron and Senator Ratbat

Legacy Jhiaxus.

Titan Return voyager Optimus Prime with the extra smokestacks/guns to change him into Actionmaster Optimus Prime.

Legacy Selects Magnificus.

Every single versions of any Primes that comes with the Legacy Earthrise Optimus Prime trailer.

And many more.

How is the Prowl/Barricade mold? Looks similar to the 86 Jazz and that thing is frail...

The SS86 mold is only "frail" if you smash it against a wall. I have the mold 3 times already. Normal, Jackpot, and orange g2. I transformed them a few times and nothing of note happened.

Prow and Barricade have 2 mold. Siege and Earthrise. Earthrise is trash. Hollow, soft, and cheap feeling. The Siege mold is fantastic. It is solid and... substantial.

Yes, the siege mold was the one I was referring to for Prowl/Barricade.

In regard to SS86 Jazz, I feel like his backpack is going to break every time I transform him. That translucent plastic worries me.

It IS a weak point. You just have to be careful.

Oh, and back to the Siege Prowl mold, try getting the Netflix rusted version. The thing is cool as F.

Yeah. The picture I posted make it obvious, unless you can't see it on your end for reasons.

Curious, what do you think of this ranking?

Meh.

This ranking doesn't make much sense because they even threw in repaints that are lower or higher than their moldmates.

Also, without any context or explanations, the ranging doesn't mean much.

Yeeeaaa... I noticed that too, but I couldn't find much in the way of a good list. Ranker has a very short one. /Shrugs

Yeah, that's a list that a lot of people wouldn't agree with. And despite being "Legacy and War for Cybertron" it also includes a bunch of SS86, Shattered Glass and even crossover figures. Plus most exclusives ended up in F which makes me think they have a grudge. The entire first wave of Legacy United is also in F. Maybe they just throw everything they don't have into F, but that's just bad practice. There's also Star Saber split into three entries. So strange.

Agreed! Still, I would have liked an actual list. Anyways, here a few videos for future readers:

Ha! I didn't catch that! Probably because I was only studying the top few tiers.

With regard to exclusives, I can't fault the grudge [exclusives punish fans IMHO], but that just means there's a lack of objectivity in the list.

A "ranking list" can only be subjective. That's why just throwing a list without any explanations make it worthless.

Tier list videos are the best because the one making the list explain the reasons while making it. We may agree or not with the list maker, but at the very least, the list maker must be open about his choices.

Be thankful it isn't like they used to be back when the only way to get most exclusives was to attend an event or pay massive aftermarket markups. Event exclusives used to cost a lot more before the markup, too, especially BotCon.

I still find it interesting when people refer to quality of modern figures by referring to older ones. Kanrabat mentioned SS86 Brawn felt like an old CHUG figure. PrimeVsPrime mentioned something similar about Kingdom Cyclonus (great plastic quality of olde figures), so there's definitely build quality variation. /Shrugs

Old does not necessarily mean "better".

The Generations Fall of Cybertron (FOC) figures were the worst ever in how hollow and thin they were. These were the straws that broke the camel's back and prompt Hasbro to bring the quality of figures back up even if it means they had to enforce some massive prices hikes.

You learn something new everyday. Thanks again for all the info!

I think I'm pretty much set with my limited room. I may figure out a way to rearrange though.

I take that back. I still want a good Nemesis Prime. Right now I'm torn between trying to find the Netflix Spoiler Nemesis Prime at a reasonable price [why is the Takara Siege one bonkers expensive?] or going with Velocitron Scourge. Thoughts?

There's two versions of the Takara WFC Nemesis Prime. The original, who is super rare, and the Netflix version that is in a different box. Still expensive, unfortunately.

Velocitron Scourge is a completely different character and is not really a "Nemesis". It's like using Nemesis Leo as your Nemesis Prime. To go with your collection and display that is G1-centric, the Netflix Nemesis is your best bet. Too bad you're 3 years to late to get him for retail price.

So, if you really want it, you'll have to bite the bullet and pay double the price.
I did for some toys in the past. It suck, but better pay double than triple or quadruple.

The other options for Nemesises either don't match, or are as expensive anyway.
