not keen on the magnus though

Magnus is the primary reason why I will be getting this two-pack, Skywarp is the bonus. 8)

Yeah, it looks like Magnus is a bit out front while skywarp is higher up. You can sort of see where SW's knees are.

How much did anyone pay for any of these figures at stores? On E-bay they seem to be selling the deluxe class for damn near 40$, and voyager for over 50$. I was pretty sure i read 9.99 and 19.99 through retail stores. Im i going insane or what? I havent seen them at any stores near me yet.

Got Bumblebee today! :D Great head if nothing else. Would be perfect for alternators if you could make it a little bigger. $10.99 at TRU.

Just got Optimus and Megatron today! :D Wal-mart didn't have the rest of them but they shouldn't be too far behind.

Damn these guys are awesome! I haven't been this thrilled with news toys since I first got Alternators Smokescreen!

I can't wait for the rest of them. Ramjet, Starscream and Jetfire looked great in the display case at BotCon. I think the only one I might pass on is the E Constructicons repaint since I already have them.

I got Optimus yesterday and I agree! He's so freakin' awesome. The only thing I don't like is the arm kibble, but we all already knew that was gonna be there so it's not a big deal. If that's what it takes to give us a kick-ass figure, then I'm all for it!

Prime is definately on my must get list. I?m wondering how hard it would be to make a trailer foir him given that the only ?post? that could act as a fifth wheel is relatively square in shape, and that same issue will come up when the Ultra magnusvs Skywarp two-pack comes out. As I said before, I definately plan on making a trailer that turns into battle armor for him, and I want him to be able to tow it properly.

I think the best best would be to drill a hole right down the middle of the square and use a round peg on the trailer. The legs stay together very well so I don't think there would be much of a problem with the legs seperating while towing.

What I'm curious is how well Classic Bumblebee will fit in a 1:24 New Beetle model kit? :D

Unfortunately being on a card and all I'm guessing he's going to be much too small. Hopefully his head will at least be big enough, since other deluxe size figs like Blurr and Overdrive have had their heads used successfully, but I kinda doubt it.

I've got the classics Bumblebee and unfortunately the head is too small, but maybe the transformation into bot form would allow a reshell VW 1:24 scale model to work. I've never done a reshell, but it may just work with some imagination.
I do have a Lamborghini Diablo 1:24 I bought to reshell Alternator style, but I'm having problems figuring out which Alt parts to use, because it is such a low/flattened car.
Is Ultra Magnus going to be a repaint of Optimus as usual?
I saw Rodimus pics awhile back and thought he looked cool, but in the package in my hand I...Rodimus Prime... did not care for it. Maybe when I buy him and display him I'll fell different. Anybody picked him up yet? If so, what do you think?

I think a 1/24 scale might be too big. Something like a 1/36 to 1/48 scale might be more appropriate.

I bought another Starscream today because I need to paint a few details. This character has got the worst paint apps out of any of the classics, theface is not even done.

I also found Cybertron Smokescreen, I had forgotten this was comming. It looks so good in G1 colours it might as well be a classic.

Now only Megatron alludes me.

So far, I only have Starscream and Bumblebee. They are both real nice figures and quite sturdy. I am tempted to pick up a couple more for customizing. TFMaster's Glyph repaint inspired me, though mine would get a slight facial resculpt to make it look more feminine.

Actually, I'm thinking that if and when I'm able to get hold of a couple of Bumblebees, I may redo my first ever repaint, Hardshell. With a new facesculpt and paintjob, he should look pretty cool.

I didn't even know about the Smokescreen repaint. That's brilliant! I had no interest in Crosswise before, but now he's suddenly gained worth... 8)

I have a BB hidden at my local TRU until I get my next paycheck. He's behind a bunch of "The Batman" toys, so I have a feeling noone will be looking there LOL. Blew my toy budget this past week buying Titanium Jetfire and Thundercracker. I better not buy grocerys this week

I'm a bit behind here... I've never seen any of these in the shops yet, and I've only just realised how many figs are being released for this line.

I've just found this checklist page of the existing and upcoming figs, for anyone like me who doesn't know what's in store.

I'm quite liking Cliffjumper; as good as BB looks, I think the mould is better suited for this lad. I think I'd have to mod the head a bit personally though.

Surprisingly, one of the standout figs for me is one of the Mini-Cons, Dirt Rocket from the Decepticon Dirt Digger team. The altmode looks awesome, and by the looks of it the robot mode has somewhat better articulation than most of the others.

I'm also baffled by the choice of Menasor mould, the repaint of LOC Prime. Am I the only one who thinks Megatron would've been far better suited?

Well, I finally got Classics Optimus Prime yesterday, and he is sweet looking. I was messing around with him a little this morning because of my plans to build a trailer/command armor suit for Classics Ultra Magnus when he comes out and have figured out a way to transform him to fit into the armor similar to how the original G1 toy did. Basically, with wind-vane removed, you simply transform him as normal into robot mode, except you don?t fold up the front wheels/bumper. Then, you simply re-transform the arms?and only the arms? back to their vehicle mode configuration. Fold down the knee armor and point his toes, and he is ready to be armored up.

This configuration will allow him to be suited up with a command armor suit, similar to the ones already built for the Masterpiece and Hybrid Prime/Magnus models, and retain full leg articulation.
