You can always wait for the KO, I'm sure that's gonna be out soon as well
Do Lego sets get KO'd?

Possibly, but unlikely since The Lego Group strikes hard as Lepin knows from experience: that Chinese brand copied whole sets, even ones from licensed properties like Pirates of the Caribbean and even had the balls to sell sets based on fan builds or MOC's (My Own Creation). Naturally, they were shut down somewhere in 2017-2018.

There are tons of brands that use the basic interlocking brick design as it's public domain along with some basic pieces IIRC, but copying whole sets brick by brick is asking for trouble.

Isn't there a rule against promoting KO's by the way?

Yes Lego gets KO'ed all the time. Lepin might be gone, but in its place there's now King, Queen, Super 18K, Jie Star, and probably others. King and Queen are straight KO's, while Super 18K and Jie Star usually have some improvements or additional features.

But anyways, don't wanna derail the thread or break any rules

Lower priced Ko? Send me the link I'm ready! :D

I got mine in. I was a bit shocked at how big the box is. I'll hopefully get to build him this weekend

No talking about KOs in the offical thread, take it to private messages.

No idea why what is wrong with that, but ok? (I don't want to get banned over this) But before ending this conversation, where CAN I get notified about the good transformer kos? I'm sure there is no transformers KO news website I can check :(

Because we have a separate sub forum for that kind of talk here.

In official threads like these we focus on official products.

Yes, thanks. This website has so many categories and I'm too lazy to sort.

Does anyone know when this hits retail? Or is it only going to be a LEGO Shop/Store thing?

With its size and price the Lego Shop is your best bet, but Target has some higher-end sets too.

Well, I'm from Europe, so I don't have Target nearby. Guess I'll have to go with the LEGO Shop.

I was hoping it'd show up on Toys'R'Us, but for the last several months all they have on Transformers are two Kingdom Rhinox and one poster. In a single shop. When there's two in my town.

From what I could find on various online retailers that carry Lego, it should be available from August 1st. So I'd wait a little longer and then get it through normal retail with the usual ~30% discount.

Guess who's coming to Walmart? Spotted this tag in the Christmas toy section where the Halloween stuff used to be. It hasn't been stocked yet, looks like they'll be getting a bunch of Lego sets in that section judging from the tags.

At first I couldn't figure out what new Optimus Prime figure was coming out at such a high price aside from an MP. But then I scanned the tag with the Walmart app and it made total sense.

Nice. He's at Target, and now coming to Walmart, just in time for the holidays
