This makes me wonder how involved Warden might have been with the scheduling of reveals when he was in charge, because things seemed to devolve into the current joke of an announcement team right when he stepped away.

He left his role in the middle of 2020. I'm trying to remember if there were any other big events that happened around then that may have affected product development, production, and marketing schedules. Can someone help me out? What am I forgetting about, maybe it created worldwide shipping delays?

True. Seems like poor planning. They probably wanted to reveal this Haslab at the FFF 2 weeks ago, but because Galactus hadn't funded yet, they were told to hold off. They certainly look a bit nervous on camera, which I don't blame them for, probably dozens of people behind the scenes changing the script, and or what exactly should be said or not said constantly. The lack of Kingdom wave 4 puzzles me as well, as well as additional selects reveals, The Golden Disk line etc.... I mean they can't be saving all of this until late October can they? Kingdom Wave 4 is supposed to be in stores around that time.

If there is any upside, hopefully the reasonably low price for a Haslab will help this get funded (This being the 2nd least expensive Haslab so far). It is already at nearly 1,200 backers, within the first hour. I don't expect anything miraculous, like it funding quickly. But with the obstacles from Unicron worked out (hopefully accessible to all fans world wide via one or more vendors, especially fans in Japan that will no doubt want to order this), then hopefully it should work out.

Of course Covid threw a wrench into the works smartass, but that shouldn't be an excuse as to why they haven't regained any competence in their announcement schedules. I'm pretty sure everyone is giving them a mulligan for last year. Why isn't it fixed by now though? That is what leads me back to thinking Warden might have been more involved with that portion of running the franchise when he was in charge.

Well, they aren't SS86, so they will likely get a facebook or instagram post on a random Wednesday about a week after wave 4 starts showing up in stores. I suspect they will be in stores before Pulsecon.

So my range of emotions: 1. Finally, Victory Saber! 2. Wow, only $180? Expected it to be more. 3. Where's Deathsaurus? 4. Wait, two 5" figures?!

Any idea how big the figures are separated and combined? I think it's a little sketch that one of the stretch goals is the main weapon for Victory Saber.

I know there are going to be a lot of questions about size, all I can say is watch the video. It may be agonizing, but it is the best advice I can offer, just reading the sizes in the description is very misleading. When it's all said and done, the size looks to be just right.

When they said the Brain Master would be 1 inch (smaller than a Titan Master)...I thought, "Aren't Titan Masters only 1 inch already"... nope, turns out they are in fact 1 and 5/16 Inches or 3 1/3 cm. An odd size to be sure, but I guess it worked.

Well the info says Saber is 5", and his booster jet is also 5". given how he combines with said booster jet, I would say Star Saber proper is probably around 8", and likely 10" when combined with Victory Leo

Wait, Victory Saber is much smaller than MP Star Saber or just Haslab Star Saber is smaller than the MP? Either way, this IS cheaper than the MP.

Okay.
I'm a geezer.
A boomer.
Whatever...

How does this Crowdfunding thing work?
I pledge my money, sure, but when do they take it?
At the time I sign up?
When the pledges are met?
When the figures ship?

I looked all over the place!
and they hide that tidbit of info pretty friggin good!

So... I figured if I couldn't suss it out,
Go to my Fanclan!

Tell me, friends!
What's the what?

You sign up between now and October 10, and if the goal of 11K is met, then they charge you for it on October 11 and go into production. I couldn't find info on when the project production to be complete.

I think they put a temporary hold on your card just to make sure it's legit.

That's how I see it, too.

Not sure if they changed this on the site (I basically woke up, placed my order and went to a job interview so I'm a little behind), I saw someone say the V-Star was 5", but the sizes given now are:

1-inch Brain of Courage Brainmaster figure
5-inch Autobot Saber figure
8.5-inch V-Star jet
7.5-inch Victory Leo figure

I'm thinking that once you stretch out the V-star and put Saber in it Star Saber could be closer to 10", maybe even 11". Slap Victory Leo on there and it should be a very impressive figure.

That is good to know. Yes earlier it was saying the V-Star and Victory Leo were also 5 inches, and I knew that couldn't be right.

Target Announces New Transformers Reveals from Hasbro this Friday

Target has begun their the Collector's Spot Fall Geek-Out event running from September 3 to October 3 where they'll be making new announcements every Friday across various collectibles lines. Transformers fans wont be waiting long as Target plans to hold a special event this coming Friday, September 10 just for us! There's no telling exactly what they'll reveal, most likely a new exclusive, but the first day held yesterday revealed a $50 Batman figure from McFarlane that also has an $80 signed variant (both of which sold out shortly after) made for New York Comic Con so the bar has already been set very high. That final day of the event in October also promises more reveals from Hasbro, though probably not Transformers specific.

It's anybody's guess and you can share yours in the Energon Pub forums!

It'd be messed up if the reveal just turned out to be Road Rage and that the Target.com page went live too early.
