I finally got around to opening the one I (and a bunch of us here) got on clearance at BBTS, along with Black Zarak. Currently applying the upgrade kit to Grand, had to buy a new screwdriver because expecting all the screw holes to be the same size is asking too much apparently...

CW Battle Core Optimus Prime also sported the Star Convoy look with the head and chest, but oddly Hasbro couldn't be bothered to give us a Star Convoy repaint. Somehow Hasbro gave us the right head and the wrong colors one year and the right colors with the wrong head another year.



And yet for whatever reason they used that head as a Monopoly Empire token because Star Convoy is so iconic.

Even more sour is that the TR mold supposedly has that Star Convoy head plate built in.

I regret not getting Grand Maximus, especially with where the price is now
