The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is back with the Transformers news you need and a look back at the past. Join host ScottyP, Megatronus, RodimusConvoy13 and kuhlio, in his Twincast debut, as we discuss the latest toys, news, and more. Shame on all our houses.

Episode #308 “Hall of Shame” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher Radio and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.

Here's what we discuss in this episode:

  • Deja vu, G2. Out of Middle Earth comes sightings of Shadowstrip, the first of what we anticipate will be a full set of G2-deco Velocitron Stunticons. Let's not forget Crasher, too.

  • The Transformers Hall of Shame, er, Fame fan vote is open and it's... a Google Form? And includes a category for Legacy toys, many of which have not been released yet? Oh, brother.
  • In more interesting news, Super7 ReAction line boasts an upcoming Unicron toy - their version of the never-produced G1 prototype. Move over Ultimates, there's a new (old) game in town.

  • You asked and we listened: it's time for another retrospective. We cover the odd transition from mainline Generations and Combiner Wars, starting with GDO and extending to Fall of Cybertron and the TFCC releases. What's notable, what hasn't held up, and what still has a place in our collections?

  • We wrap up the show with everyone's favorite segment: Bragging Rights.

Missed a few shows. New voices!

I didn't realize Kenner was based there, is that why some of the old BTR demo'd in Cinncy?

My Dad lived in Sharonville for a while for a while, I should take a visit

By the time CW ended I had doubled my Stunticons with Toxitron, the Counterpunch, offroad, and a couple of the G2 guys, so I am excited to carry over some extra Stunticon goons. Motormaster needs a gang. I am open for a new name for a new Stunticon, but I agree we need a better name than Shadowstrip. I like the deco and the checkered flag deco.

I forgot they made those tapes... oh right they sold out like Hella fast

I like the Crasher deco and the only other one I have of the Earthmode was Leadfoot.

I did the same with Leadfoot, trying to remember which way it wanted to go.

I think there is merit to doing versions of characters when you have very different versions of the same character. That doesn't work every time.

My Unicron is chilling on my couch

My Soundwave was Prime for the longest time but I had and enjoyed the Device Label one.

Talk about a remold exceeding the original, RID grimlock really felt like he owned the mold better than the FOC Grim. Remember the add on to fill out the FOC Dino chest? RID had somewhat better proportions that really didn't need the filling out.

Interesting point, I have not seen as many of SS Sludge as I did of Grim or Slag.

Nonnef for the win either way.

WfC Prime was always my favorite. Better plastic, more involved transformation, cooler truck. The FoC version was a very simple transformation with that glossy cheap plastic.

I always wanted a Voyager of that Shockwave. The only reason Generations took place of my Prime Shockwave was because my Prime ones treads were drying out.

The Wreckers version of that Bruticus had cool weapons... I gave Legacy Bulkhead Impactors Cannon. I tried to mod TwinTwist with his drills in his turrets using Lego Technic parts.

It's a neat sculpt, but I do more with Generations. Delta Magnus for me as well. This also gives my Shattered Glass Optimus Prime a head for him to do twisted Hamlet scenes with.

"Alas, poor Magnus. He shouldn't have tried to double cross me"

Yeah man- Cincy at one time was home to Kenner and Hanna Barbera- that's why the Super Powers HQ is based off Union Terminal! When you visit your dad- Sharonville is not very far from The Toy Department at all!
