I don't recall that being the implication in WFC: Siege either...

Don't, just... don't look too much into the matter.

Fact remains that in the G1 cartoon lore Alpha Trion rebuilt both Optimus Prime and Elita-1 from Orion Pax and Ariel (No relation!), and let's leave it at that.

I know The Movie gets accused of aping Star Wars. I just wasn't expecting the "Luke & Leia" bit elsewhere in the series...

At the end of the episode "The Search for Alpha Trion" Elita says Alpha Trion is like a father to her. If you consider Trion to be the father of both Optimus Prime and Elita-1 then they are siblings if you take it that both Prime and One considers Trion a father-like figure to them then no they're not siblings.

It's just how every fan interprets it.

This is partly why I write my fan fic. I try to improve on the bad writing.

It's fun to think that, although those videos were made in a light hearted way. There is a clear distinction. If Galvatron had remained with his complete mind from The Movie (and didn't go "MAD"). He would have led the Decepticons to victory.
