Mine's the same way. Kind of a sad thing since it would have been fun to dual wield the swords

Yeah, mine has that problem too. Purple hand doesn't hold things well, orange one won't hold things at all. Damn shame, really, I was looking forward to this guy.

That's cuz it uses the ugly Optimus/Motormaster torso. :-P

Same here, but it's probably because it's not in full color. I'll reserve judgment until we get in-hand pictures.

I also dislike that there is only 1 jet. having only 1 plane limb makes one of those limbs look weak and kinda brittle compared to the rest (poor Defensor...)

yeah, nothing is fitting in the cannonholes properly, he barely can even hold the claw there. my bluestreak has kinda loose fist ports too.

Could be done, but they wouldn't be terribly accurate in either form.

Jetstorm (Silverbolt), Tankor (Brawl), Thrust (UW Groove), Strika (Rook), Obsidian (UW Vortex).

Combined form could be either Megatron with the mask or Megahead/Megabolt Megatron. Also include an Arms Micron like Zori to act as the Diagnostic Drone.

Emerje

i was thinking along those lines ;)^

TBH even my original Rook has problems holding anything tightly in the ports. Ah well, future floor polish to the rescue.

I'll definite be swapping Fractyl to an arm, with Bluestreak. Don't like the Dead End mold as an arm anyway. It's going to be a garish mess and I'll love it. I actually really like the Breakdown mold as an arm, but Impactor with the sword half and cannon is too good to not use.

I just compared the different versions I have. Rook for me is as tight as a frog's butt, however, I bought right away; Roller is actually a little bit looser in the left hand, but not a problem; then Impactor can't even come close to holding things in his left, and his right barely has enough friction to hold stuff in.

Edit: Now I'm going to have to check all my Swindles and Hounds, too.

had a bit of a sad thought (well to me, some might like this idea) on who the 5.0 sub exclusive might be. I think it may be another '84 Autobot with the most likely picks being Jazz from the Dead End mold, or Sideswipe from the Breakdown mold. I hope I'm wrong on this though. I really want that Mystery figure to be something out of left field

Also could be Hoist from Trailbreaker

Especially since there's a distinct possibility that the Trailbreaker parts for the Offroad mold have an alternate Hoist head, as shown here:

Plus, the Autotroopers were first intended as the BotCon 2016 Troop Builder set, before being replaced with Reflector.

Or a different character using the same head. Using a head "that hasn't seen US retail" implies either a TakaraTomy-only head, or an unused pretool head. Again, the rundown:

TakaraTomy only heads
Starscream (Skydive)
Thrust (Air Raid)
Lightspeed (Wheeljack)
Nosecone (Rook)

Unused pretool heads (if any)
Alternate head of Brawl
Hoist (Offroad with Trailbreaker parts)
Alternate head of Rook

I've been working on building up the fistholes. Right hand tightened with one application of clear nail polish, the left hand is still pretty loose after like... 5 (getting a slight grip on deeper pegs) and I need to find a way to keep applying more layers without more polish accumulating in the bottom or he's going to only have a half depth peghole when I'm done x.x

kurthy wrote:Edit: Now I'm going to have to check all my Swindles and Hounds, too.

Considering swindle and hound dont use the cannon fists and the "teeth" inside them seem to be the specific thing degrading, swindle and hound are probably fine.

Just put Thunder Mayhem together for the second time, and now both swords are stuck in Spinister's HFG, and in trying to remove them, the handle on one has started to break :-(

More a warning to everyone else to be careful than anything.

Breaking like stress marks, or breaking like cracks. Either way, my condolences.

Mine is fine, but usually I only put one handle in the fist and attach the second sword directly to the first in one manner or another.

Is it possibly related to how deep you're putting the handles in? I remember having a thing with that when I got mine, though the exact details escape me.

Full on cracks unfortunately, and I'm pretty certain there are stress marks in the other one, though it's hard to tell with off-white plastic.

I don't think I put them in any further than I did the first time either.

I've messaged the club to see if there's any chance of getting replacement parts, but I'm not holding out much hope as technically nothing is faulty.

too true, they have the best customer service that i have seen from any company. they are the living example of customer service done right, while digital river is the living example of customer service done horribly wrong

I just figured something out. FSS Bluestreak isn't G1 Bluestreak!

If you take a look at his tech specs here, it describes him as stealthy and sniper-y, which, if his TFwiki page and the only translation of his tech specs I could find are accurate, makes him a closer match to Masterpiece Bluestreak, who was released as a separate character (the guy we call Bluestreak is just "Streak" in Japan) and who is also based on the Blue Bluestreak deco.
