Any crossovers featuring tech has a problem because Transformers could hack that tech very quickly. Transformers would dominate straight away.

A lighter hearted Xover...

Beast Wars X PokéMon

Granted my knowledge of the Mons, doesn't veer too far from Gen 1 (in contrast to Transformers). But I do think, after seeing the above on DeviantArt. The choices people have made for the Maximals are a little ...fanboy-like.

Maximals
Primeape, Rhydon, Persian, Raticate, Pidgeot, Arcanine...

Dinobot is a bit of headscratcher. I purposely want to limit him to a non-evolving Mon. But there isn't exactly a clean match to a Raptor. :-?

Is there a group out there that could resurrect dead Transformer bodies? There must be millions of dead Transformers lying about on Cybertron and elsewhere. Some only need minor repairs to function properly again. A hi-tech, spiritually advanced race could fix up some dead bodies, inhabit them and then infiltrate Transformer society. How would this be received? Would the infiltrators be found out soon? They could change key parts of the bodies and also add new names. Would the infiltrators give out 'the wrong vibes' and be treated as undesirable? They could claim that they'd been away from Cybertron for a long time, hence the unfamiliar names and appearances. These 'grave robbers' could also leave Transformer society and strike out on their own with their second-hand but superior bodies. They could follow their own agendas, not behave like Autobots, Decepticons or even non-aligned Transformers.

I saw that too, when looking for an appropriate gif or clip. Sad to think the Actual Mysterons are secondary in a google search of their name.

But on a more on topic note, all of the above highlighted points are exactly how the Mysterons work. Theirs is also a war of attrition. During both runs of Captain Scarlet, they were not defeated.
