Crowd fund might not go so well if overseas aren't backing from not receiving the first, but that's doom and gloom nay saying

Yup and reviews haven't been kind. It has less paints apps than the original figure and because of articulation and more segmented parts it doesn't form as a convincing lump. That's mainly due to the legs not being solid one piece parts. Hopefully means scalpers will have to sell cheaper, because anyone with money will likely go for the classics version instead. I'm just happy to have another She-ra character in the origins line and to have a rock for my masters of wwe figures.

Walmart put a ton of stuff in the toy aisle on clearance including some MOTU figure. Picked up a Snake Men Guard and a Serpent Claw Man-at-Arms. May grab another Mossman if they have any left next week.

Mattel creations getting to be expensive for masterverse collectors too with new eternia snout spout set for 12th March release. Taller figure based of the 'deluxe' body size and looks really good but doesnt seem to have a switchable look like most other new eternia figures have.

kinda tempted for this one but i've not been in a rush for most masterverse stuff with a lot of the line being taken up by the revelations figures. Dunno, its def something I could justify having two of to offset the shipping costs for hosehead/snoutspout.

I'm surprised Snout Spout wouldn't be a retail or online fan channel release. Seems strange when the other Masterverse exclusives were odd one offs like the Vikron box set, buff Evil Lynn and super size Motherboard. Fan favorite Snout Spout doesn't really follow that trend.

Your order just shipped...what is inside...Roc...Eternia!!!! Woooop! *Delivery date is Friday, guessing thats what paying £200+ more for a toy then Americans was for O.O that's pretty darn fast.

Caution, object appears smaller in photos.

Courier said they had five of them being delivered today. My box a little dinged but compared to holes in mailer box I'm happy :) it's all going to about the contents and that's going to take awhile and likely my bed to go through them.

*when you pull out the towers thinking they are pretty big and decent and then you pull out the centre tower and then realise whatever room you thought you had to display it... Isn't going to be enough.
Not keen on having to screw it together just because of the price (brings back flashbacks of trying to wear in TR trypticon springs). Not applying stickers, hopefully some one will do repro labels for it so I can leave the originals unused.
A few very minor scuffs on main tower from box, I'm fine with that. A concern would be the chain on the ball rubbing or scratching things.

Two slight scuffs as new from box

Must fight the urge to play with playset in the garden.

One of my blue mono rail holders is slightly warped but I wont know if that effects the mnorail until I've found some floor space.

After buying a big playset, I kinda felt new adventures was mising out so this is my stand in for them (much like the dc primal age batcave for hordak):

https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/disney ... rs-4309375

I might never see or care about the lightyear moovie but dang, £17 bargain. Annoyingly isn't 'complete' as it has storage and uses parts from the figures (which is a cool idea other than little card board inserts from a walmart only range) and for 5" figures so will be a bit small for origins except when crouching/vintage style posed but should be perfect for old NA figures I dont have...or megabloks NA that dont exist yet...

I've been eyeing that Lightyear playset myself, it was only $17 on Entertainment Earth recently, but has sold out. It's probably too small for Masterverse, but I bet it would be OK with vintage NA figures.

Sounds right, it's like $45 on Amazon.com, pretty sure the MSRP is $115 or something, what an epic fail.

Owch at the Canadian price on the light year playset :( but I'm not looking forward to the UK price on the motu origins snakes lair next :(

Tested the mono rail full set up, quickly disassembled it so I could move. Measured the space for the towers and might have an idea on where the main section is going. Lost a chunk of finger nail trying to remove the piece from eternias lift colomn to rearrange the holder for circle figuration.

Sadly I don't have a homer Simpson figure to speed around the monorail.

well that sucks, pretty much nothing else can be shipped along with snout spout on mattel creations (and they even have more masterverse stuff listed on their site for order :() plus I skiped out onthe retro WWE ring wiht it not being blue and might have considred adding it but nooo...it could be worse though, i could be Canadian o.O

was tempted to get a Dark Lyn to make into a Huntara but I still might be able to pick one up on ebay.

In a way you're lucky because before the orders went live it said only shipping to the US. Canada is probably due to not having French on the box which is mandatory for things shipping to Quebec.

The price on this one hurt, I didn't really want two of these and they didn't have anything else I needed so I ended up spending $41 on this one figure... I'll say it again, if they're going to move all this stuff to MC then they need a free shipping membership level.

Same for me on the price :( £41, I did want two of them but would rather have different things than two of the same figures. Chancing to wait to be able to order the other upcoming other line exclusives isn't really an option for risk of being sold out. Classics version has issues with the trunk cracking from movement so I wasn't going to miss out on this one.

I'd be okay if Mattel did preorders for the rest of the origins stuff like star wars does for waves, order a specific known figure/s now or order the years exclusives in advance not knowing all the figures. I'd rather chance getting a figure I didnt want over paying that postal charge on three seperate figures I want.

Might just be me, but origins point dread doesn't seem to sit properly on eternia grayskull tower. A nice touch keeping it compatible with the windraiders flight stand.

origins Syklone and another postal charge at mattel creations in 5 days dang it.

Picked up Masterverse Ram Man and Clawfull for under £20 each with Amazons weird fluctuating prices. I've already fallen behind on Masterverse stuff but it is crazy in a good way being able to buy Motu stuff every month in the 2020s.

The community manager at Mattel Creations gave some teasers as to what to expect at the "Revealed" event next week:

New fan demanded Masterverse figure
New "first time" MOTU Origins figure

They're also apparently doing a behind the scenes with Stunt Puppet who does their stop motion videos.

I seriously hope that isn't all they reveal. Wish they'd put a schedule out already. It starts at noon here (which is like midnight for a nightshift worker like me), but I'm not staying up if they don't start either day with MOTU.

Just a thought.

The original MOTU show is a MAGICAL GIRL SHOW.

No, really.

Prince Adam is a normal guy that was given a magical artifact. He must use that magical artifact to transform and gain power. He must shout a formula and strike a pose to do so. The transformation sequence is colorful with cool music. He-Man is accompanied with a cute mascot character. The cherry on top are the campy vilains with over the top plans.

:-?

Ya gotta admit that it does fit the genre somewhat.

^When it comes to the Filmation series. I can't think of any other show wherein a hero describes his powers as "fabulous". So you might be on to something...

Meanwhile,
Looking at the newest Transformerland MOTU update and some of the more unusual latter series designs. Is there any figure you would want to see either receive a modern glow-up or more exposure in a new line/series?
