Anyone able to ID?

Had this sitting in my box of junkers, considered it some cheap KO of something and never looked at it properly until today when I noticed the arms sticking out the back of it.

I know the "armour" combines as I've had limited success in doing so, but would really like to know what line it's from and how complete it is and how it's supposed to look.

I take it there aren't any copyright marks? Browsing Google, but all I see are Stormtroopers... and not the Transformers kind.

I've checked it over and couldn't see any, but they do sometimes elude me. Will have another look.

It doesn't feel cheap. I'm actually pretty impressed with it and think Hasbro could learn from it for a proper line of Pretenders.

FOUND IT!!! And my boy, you may have a gem in your possession :APPLAUSE:

That's Silver Jack from Armored Police Metal Jack. Not much info out there on the English sites, I may have to turn to the Japanese for proper images. Quite rare if I see it right, but also KO'ed.

HA! Awesome! From what I can tell he's complete, and I now know how the suit is supposed to transform.

Guess I'm going to have to take some more pics as there's not much info out there about them! I really do like the concept of it and would love to see it used as a basis for deluxe/voyager sized Pretender shells.

I know the mystery has been solved... but it reminds me of the SSS/Gridman/Ultraman figures from Super Samurai Syber Squad.

With the Zenon and Dyna Dragon Armors? I hear you all the way. Same makers too btw ;)

Ah, it's amazing how Google is so discriminating when it comes to language. English, hardly anything, Japanese, just enough:

Armored Police Metal Jack toy page on Omochagura.

Spawned Super Famicon/SNES and Game Boy games too.

ahhhh that is awesome! Looks like I got the daggiest of vehicles though. I'm telling ya, Takara could look at this line and use it as inspiration for Pretenders!

Found plenty of them on eBay when I had a look!

You didn't happen to find anything about how to identify a KO at all?

Afraid not, aside from the usual lack of stamps, inferior material and dodgy English on the box.

How did you get that anyway?

I'm going to assume it came with a box of junkers I probably picked up years and years ago.

The box sat in my cupboard under the stairs at my townhouse full of broken Transformers which I had plans to fix up or use for kitbashing some day.

Then we moved into our house, box came with me, went through it to try to flog off some of the junkers, paid no attention to this guy until the other day when I realised there were two arms on his back and that's when my interest was piqued.

It doesn't feel like a KO, and his stickers are different to the KO's that are listed on eBay. KO or not, he's pretty cool, and the whole line looks cool. Thanks for tracking it down!
