Sabrblade wrote:But Action Toys knew that they were making the Japanese Machine Robo characters and not the American GoBots characters when they made these, so to pretend that they were making these for GoBots purposes above all else is very fallacious.

Not only that they knew but they HAD to make these Machine Robo characters and not Gobots because they only had the Machine Robo licence and not the Gobot licence, which Hasbro still has. So legally, these cannot be Gobot toys.

Plus, it looks like they'll be launching a secondary "Machine Robo DX" series, starting with an 18.5cm (or 7.3 inches) tall MRDX-01 Bike Robo

That's not that much bigger than they are now. I thought Turbo was supposed to be part of this wave.

Then we must be buying totally different toys, the ones I get are only 4.5 inches. These new ones will be 75% bigger.

Also yeah, Turbo was suppoed to be part of that wave:

You're probably right. I'm not very good at estimating size.

The toys look neat, but they're pretty much Stopbots compared to the standard size Gobots of the 80's. They were nice because they were usually cheaper than Transformers, and the more expensive super ones that were about the size of scout class Transformers were a few dollars more. Plus they all flew and probably still do. As for ones appearing in a wave, maybe anyone who has a full wave should get them to do the wave. I remember when a getting a knock-off version of Space-C from a company called Buddy L. I call them Stopbots I tend to use antonyms just to mess around, except in this case, it's serious when it comes to reality. Would I want ones that had the same exact modes like Scorp, Hornet, Dart, Mr. Moto, and Treds? No, but it'd be nice if they were in stores every where for a more reasonable price. A Pathfinder that's standard size and easier to transform than the original one would be nice too.

Well I know the drill if there's a UFO Robo. She's about the size of a scout class TF and $45 and won't be seen at toy stores over in the United States and would probably only be available online, and the price is what makes it suck more than anything else. Back in the day, the only Transformers that were about the same price as Gobots were the mini Transformers.

I half-jest. They do look awesome, but I'm still massively bummed we won't be getting Pathfinder. :(

UFO Robo wasn't in the Revenge of Cronos anime, whose character likenesses are what Action Toys was given the license to adapt into these figures.

This is gonna screw up my count; but hopefully, it'll be worth it. Have the Wendy's Gobots ever appeared in cartoons or anything? I suppose they probably won't do remakes of those guys. The Tank remake is too expensive for me, but I did see a couple that looked fair because they were the same price as scout class Transformers. I'd almost rather have the original smaller Tank even though he's a one step Gobot because he's pretty cool.

They should introduce a new English speaking Gobot cartoon syndicate and use them. My favorite of was the one who became a helicopter.

You're extremely welcome. Of course, I'd like it better if I could have the title changed to something unique since a combiner is a type of Transformer like Primestrong, which is the only combiner I do have; but I'll live.

I got my Bug Bite, and I'm wondering if he switched to being a renegade to being a guardian. If not, then someone went out of their way to make him a good Gobot. Those Reveal the Shield stickers are very hard to pull off; and someone not only put one on him to make him look like a Transformer; but he put an Autobot Reveal the Shield sticker on him. Is this a shattered glass renegade or something?

This is gonna show my age, which is visible anyway; but it would be nice if they called them Gobots and did an advertisement jingle for them similar to the old one for Golden Graham's cereal. The Simpsons used that old tune once when Mr. Burns started to sing; but apparently, whoever wrote it couldn't come up with more words because he started with oh those golden slippers; and that's it. I'd maybe sing oh, those awesome Gobots for the first two lines; and then I'd get stuck with what to sing next. I do remember the old jingle for Gobots as if it was being sang yesterday because it's only five words. Mighty robots, mighty vehicles, Gobots.

Is there any way I could get a jingle for Gobots copyrighted if the lyrics are mine? I figured out how to make an entire jingle out of Oh, Those Awesome Gobots; but I don't know how to sell or trade it to Machine Robo for money or free figures and instructions. My mobile phone is on the blink, so I can't make YouTube videos. I can't even get people to hear me when I talk on the phone.

Guys, some big news has just been discovered about the new MRDX-01 Bike Robo figure.

We know that these aren't GoBots. That they're meant to be Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos figures. Well, the new Bike Robo figure has just shaken things up with the revelation that it features three little accessories that are unquestionably direct specific references to Cy-Kill the Renegade GoBot leader of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon!

MRDX-01 Bike Robo comes with three optional, swappable Cy-Kill faces! In addition to his default Machine Robo toy/anime-accurate Bike Robo face!

They are a stern face, an evilish happy face, and a snarling angry face.

I'm amazed to see this having happened at all since I didn't think they even could do so at first, what with the rights having been split between three different companies, two of which being rival companies even.
