I guess that answers the question of why they went with Slash for Fakor instead of Metalhead that I recently heard Pixel Dan questioning. I'm going to assume all the extra parts hanging off his arms and back can be used as hand replacements?

Looks like Teila is getting some turtle armor like Man-At-Arms instead of a mutation. I kinda wanted to see here get a full snake mutation, new tail part and all, beyond the Origins release.

well, dang. mattel creations, the motu origins heman tv 4 pack is buy one get one free making it reasonable even if I picked it up full price on relase. Picked up the retro wave of wrestlers I was missing so there is that.

Kind of preordered (two days before release) the art of motu origins and masterverse due out on 5th December. I might be able to stop stockpiling the card backs if it is comprehensive.

Classics update on Transformerland!

Mattel emailed an update on Eternia (it's on track for spring, which is technically off track) with an image of the box art. A small image, but it's something.

mail (1).png

For some reason they ended the email with the same image of the crowdfund figures seen at the bottom of the campaign site even though we aren't getting Keclar unless this is their way of hinting that we're getting him anyway. I wont get my hopes up.

I was kind of hoping it was going to be later than Spring - I still. Don't know where I am going to put it.

A few characters on the box that haven't had hints of releases before (hordaks mount, multi bot, hero and a few more). Think my books waiting to be collected so maybe that will have the art in full.

Hopefully the extra figure wil be given. I think I missed out on the king with my payment being blocked and it only allowing me to back/pay for it after the time had expired.

So apparently Turtles of Grayskull has a street date for January 1st and Mattel blocked stores from taking pre-orders for no specific reason. Despite that some people are getting these in hand now. Also He-Man is definitely clear, but it's very cloudy plastic so that might be why he looked opaque in some photos. :-?

Might be why an retailer over here had them for sale for less than a few hours before being told bad retailer, bad retailer.

I've seen necroconda available to preorder here but not the other two walmart exclusives (grasp, terror :() and looks like targets skeletor and demogorgan is around the £50 mark

Motu/tmnt up for order/preorder. $20-23 in America, def not paying £28 a figure here. Might have to wait to see if normal toy stores get them at a normal price.

Weired, got an email from Target saying my Masterverse Sun Man pre-order had a new arrival date for January 9th. I ordered that in July 2022! It'd been so long and I've seen it so many times in stores (and still do) that I completely forgot that my order never shipped! It was even on clearance online for $13 (and 15 on BBTS, but of course they're going to charge me $20. I need to check Target in the morning and see what the price is before I cancel, I'll probably grab one off BBTS for $15.

I preordered Red Rage Toxie from Super7 in April 2021... Still waiting on that one, too.

What kills me is that Target will let Sun Man sit in my account a year after it was released, but cancel my Origin Jazz or SS ROTB Voyager Optimus Prime pre-orders (among many others) because it got pushed back too many times a few weeks after release.

Because of my terrible memory. I heavily rely on preorder invoices/dispatches to remind me of figures like this. Kapow & InDemand (who I mostly deal with) won't outright cancel a preorder, if the date gets pushed back to 'TBA'. So it often leaves me in the situation where random chance will remind me to check on something. I waited two years for Mezco Conan, before cancelling it. Since Kapow said they were getting zero feedback from their supplier.

Super7 are giving a general response that the pandemic is largely responsible for their delays. But I'm aware of their reputation which precedes that.

I do so many pre-orders that I could never get by without a list, and that's just the Japanese figures...

Sadly that can't be said for indemand in my experience. Neversent me my preorder for gi joe classified Mindbender then they 'restocked it' but did not fulfil my preorder with the restock which sold out. Was kind of win win though, I got the d&d gelatinous cube and Mindbender cheaper in the long run (and just another bad experience to add to hasbro pulse items with zavvi and hasbro). I avoid them for preorders but def recommend them for instock items. BTW they have stocked bucky o hare stuff at a decent price but you probably already know that :p and I'm really trying to avoid hacks figures.

Meanwhile amazon's pushed back the art of motu origins/masterverse book to TBA which is fair enough. I'm not usually in a rush for anything as long as it is eventually on the way.

Oh no, I have had to chase up both InDemand and Kapow over missed pre-orders. The most recent being Studio Series BB Movie Arcee. Forgot about the pre-order (it was for a friend). It's only when my friend asked about it. I clicked on the site and they said out it was out of stock. Contacted ..one of the two. Who sheepishly admitted that my pre-order had been overlooked and they no longer had stock to honour it. It took a while for them to do so in the end. This has happened more than once. They have also been disappointingly dickish about it at times, too.

I saw the Bucky o' Hare figures. Mine have all been in a box in deep storage for some time now. I'll sell them off one day. When someone new (and reliable) picks up the license again.

Ordered masterverse sunman £5.64 from amazon -it would be rude not to! Plus it will offset the costs of having to overpay for some MOTU thing down the line.

ok, so the Netflix Motu:Revolution trailer dropped on Youtube a couple of days ago. it did EXACTLY what I expected it to do.

1) Rockin 80's theme (check)
2) showing off beautiful animation (check)
3) Awesome & Improved cast of actors (For Teela replacing Sarah Michelle Gellar with Melissa Benoist was brilliant IMHO, as I actually really like her as an actress). Keith David as Hordak (Amazing!) William Shatner (Mind Blown!) *his role is not known at this time, but is speculated to be Gwildor...

Anyway... then comes Kevin Smiths name... oh boy... I'm out. This is truly a case of "Fool Me Once". As awesome as the trailer is, I just cant go through all that BS again. Unless this show gets an Overwhelmingly positive Audience score, like 90% or above (I dont give a damn about the critics), then I'm not watching it. Last time I just rewatched the whole 2002 series to get the terrible taste of just the first half of Revelation out of my mind (Never watched the 2nd half). Its been almost 3 years, might be time for another 2002 rewatch to distract me so I dont go watching this new show and be disappointed yet again.

ON a slightly more positive note, while the Netflix CGI MotU show seems not to be going forward, the entire 1st season is on DVD Relatively inexpensive, which I picked up recently. Such an unexpectedly fun show, wish we could have got more of that.

On the subject of Revelation, are the Revelation figures the same scale as everything else?

Masterverse figures (which revelations are part of) are same scale as Mattel/S7 classics or Mythic legions

@Omega, Kevin Smith couldnt even fool me once with how bad revelations looked :P Hope the second/we dont know how to numberise/maybe third series is better though for those that are going to watch it.

I'm about 42 episodes into New Adventures and the wizard guy who remembered skeletor from the past was a neat idea and I now want a He-slave figure (new adventures fakor kinda, created by...oooze...).

I liked Revelations, but I was never a big fan of the original cartoon (I only saw it as an adult) so it didn't bother me that we never got that promised continuation. I'm pretty happy and rather surprised to see some of the new additions to the character lineup. They're actually giving us Green Goddess and at the end was that supposed to be king Skeletor or something? I imagine everything we saw will be getting a figure. Now where's my Rio Blast!?

Thanks. Been wanting to get a He-Man to go with the Battle Cat my dad got a couple years ago.

Likely so, just hope they do enough new eternia versions to make up for it, with nearly every non revelations figure being better design wise so far (I do kinda like the revelations terminator he-man fakor tho and battlecat was impressive size wise for price)

I'm thinking where they can get away with it they'll give figures whatever accessories it takes to dual purpose the figures. For example I'm not a big fan of of that Rio Blast having the eye piece (very 200X) instead of the big overhead guns, I could see him being a deluxe figure that includes both backpacks, two heads and maybe some new stuff like a cowboy hat.

Man, the Turtles of Grayskull wave 1 and 2 comics reveal a lot of potential new figures.

Mikey is in He-man's battle armor and wearing a blond wig.
Teela gets her own turtle themed armor that reminds me of the 200X Sorceress outfit.
Donatello combines previously leaked Roboto and Metalhead into "Metal-Boto" who has been leaked as a build-a-figure.
Leatherhead, Rocksteady and Bebop appear as their normal selves.
Mer-Man gets a new mutant form complete with Lady Slither's tail.
Skeletor is shown with Samurai or probably Shogun armor.
Splinter is on the back of Shredder's package in an outfit seemingly based on King Grayskull.

Also the first 3 waves of exclusives have been revealed.

Walmart:
wave 1 Krang
wave 2 Moss Man
wave 3 Leatherhead

Target:
wave 1 Mouse Jaw
wave 2 Sla-Ker
wave 3 Splinter

This line continues to get crazy.
