The 5 member combo basically was started by Gatchaman. Before it was like 1, 2 or 3 like Getter Robo.

No. He means that Gatchaman started the five-person hero team format in Japanese media.

Whoa! I think that's a little high. I really don't think this toy is very big. I would guess, before shipping $55 to $75 US. Maybe I'm just being optimistic, but I bet he is no bigger than a Transformers Leader toy. Lets use Cybertron/GF Prime as the measuring stick. (and that may be too big)

Thought: Will, are you speaking in CAN dollars? Than you might be right.

I guess him looking kinda like star sabr threw me off in thinking he would be around the same height. Judging from this pic, he is about the height of an open average laptop (since he is bigger than the portable blu ray), so maybe 15 inches tall. So yeah, more like the same price as Ironhide. Around 100$ shipped or less (US currency).

Price is revealed. He costs 12000 Yen and you can get him for 100$ US from anime export:

http://www.anime-export.com/product/28020

He is coming out in May 2016. They say he is only 8 inches but I think thats wrong. Way too short.

I underestimated....

But yes Cobo, I like your optimism but its a good thing you have me to bring you ...

Well' you are my personal financial adviser these days Mr. Smart Money Man.
thanks for pushing another one of my nostalgia buttons with that jam! That one dude is playing a Commodore 64! The one year old and I just had a late 80's dance party. thanks for that too.

I'm gonna wait til this toy hits AmiAmi before I pull any triggers though. If he comes in May, that leaves plenty of time to save up.

BBTS put him up for pre-order at $169.99

No thanks Joel.

Edit: Oops. Mornin' Chuck. ;)

It was a pleasure. And WHAT?! 170$?!?!?!!?!?!?!? That's how much this guy would cost me in canadian shipped (if I bought from BBTS, it would cost me 250$). That's insane (and the same as shockwave). I dont know what BBTS is smoking and I hope not too many people get suckered in when there are far better options out there. HLJ is also a really good alternative for this guy since their shipping is usually lower than competition.

BBTS dropped Shockwave $15 this morning.
I have one on retainer there, just in case, but we'll see what AmiAmi does.

Diaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Battles!

Thats too much for me for a figure from a line I dont know much of. Will have to pass in the end. Also, I willprobably order my shockwave from anime export, there is quite a price difference.

Is this like the coin with MP Transformers or just the first run of Dia Battles?
