I missed the haslab unicron and am thinking about the studio cell one. However, I'm keep seeing that the transformation is frustratingly involved. Is this true?

How is the quality control? Lead-free I'm assuming?

It's a big figure, so there's a lot going on. Reviewers complained about parts of it being difficult but it's really not, especially if you follow this:

Thanks! Does it really take 30 minutes to transform?

Not if you know what you're doing. I think it takes me about 15 minutes. Explaining a transformation to make it as easy as possible while doing it on camera makes it take much longer.

Gotcha, thanks! I've also heard it's prone to breaking/stress-cracks. Is that true? Any idea if it's "kid-safe" (lead-free, etc.)?

If you don't know how to transform it correctly something will break. It's made of sturdy stuff and nothing on mine broke after many transformations.
As for lead, I have no idea.
