I'm slowly putting together my collection.

Let's start with Beast Wars:

I got Legacy Inferno from Pulse yesterday, and my Beast Wars season 1 cast is complete. Netflix Cheetor was the 1st figure I got a couple of years ago (or whenever he was released), and gradually I completed the 14-piece set. I told myself I wouldn't open any of the figures until I had all of them, and so tonight after work I finally got to dig into all these awesome BW guys and it was worth the wait. I spent 5 hours messing with them, and I can honestly say every single 1 of these figures is great, with only Rhinox giving me a bit of aggravation. But now I got proper representation in my collection for my favorite show.

My Hot Rod/Rodimus figures:

I don't have nearly enough of them, just mostly the ones representing the most well-known versions.

I know this is a tad late but wanted to comment on your Beast Wars Transformers. Glad you got all of them and what a great time to sit and open them all up at once. That had to be really cool toy sit and enjoy. I don’t think i would have the patience to leave them al in the box like and open them all at once.

Collecting all of these has been my first time to really deep dive into Beast War type Transformers in my collection. I have a pretty cool diorama i made just for these guys. Only difference from your group of BWs, I switch out Scorponok with the version from the Creatures Collide set and also added Covert Agent Ravage and Mutant Tigatron to the scene.

Still a great group of characters.

A nice start to your Hot Rod/Rodimus collectiona as well. This is a older upgrade kit but have you seen the kit from FansProject for Classics Rodimus? I bought one a few years back, its a pretty decent kit but i know its pricey now.

Look forward to seeing more photos,

Thanks for the response.

Yes, my self-control got a bit of workout, but I put them all in a box and put them in a closet until I had all of them so it helped a bit to not see them every day. Out of sight, out of mind. And yes it was exhilarating getting into them all at once, it was a lot of fun. But now they make a great display. I don't have a diorama (no space) but I do like to transform and pose them often. My problem is my OCD, I have to transform all of them when I do.

I still need to get Covert Agent Ravage, and I used to have the Creatures Collide but they found their way onto eBay.

Yeah, I never got it for the same reason I didn't get Commander Rodimus. I have no use for the battle platform. I did get Fansproject Sidearm, though.

I got Legacy Breakdown today and so the Stunticons are complete. Just as with the BW figures, I kept them boxed until I had all of them, except Motormaster whom I bought loose due to the good price. So I spent a couple hours today playing with them and finally combining the big guy. Another piece of my display completed.

Thats awesome, glad you can enjoy groups of Transformers like you can; keeping them boxed and have like this grand opening of them all at once. I am looking forward to completing Menasor once i get Breakdown.

Nothing wrong with being a little OCD with your Transformers, it’s the fun part of collecting; enjoying what you have. I can say i am a tad OCD with how i have my collection displayed in my cases. It is fun though just to take time to transform and enjoy what you have.

Yeah, I used to keep all the boxes for the ones I bought new, but I don't like the newer Legacy boxes because they're not even-sided so it's easy to break them down and throw them away. But the SS86 boxes I'm still tempted to keep, even though they're taking up quite a bit of room. I also like the backgrounds, I'll try and see if I can make 1 big display out of them, like the maps from Earthrise.

The Cyclonus family and the Scourge family. I need 1 more deluxe Scourge to complete the sweeps. I use Selects Cyclonus and SS86 Scourge as my comics reps to go with Selects Galvatron and Kingdom Cyclonus and SS86 Sweep as the TF:TM versions along with the deluxes as their respective henchbots. I need to get rid of 1 of the deluxe Cycloni since he only had 1 "armada" in the movie.
