SGMLordMirage wrote:Nice choice for your Cyclonus. I have that version as well and agree he is not that bad of a toy. It seems like you are happy with the choice and that is all that matters.

Talking about your collection growing. Unintentionally, it can grow before your eyes and before you know it you are staring at a great deal more on your shelf than what you intended on having. Thats kind of how mine went in ways.

The boundries are hard to maintain. They exist, but they keep expanding.

Got Elita one yesterday, and I'm dissapointed. The engineering is all there, but things just won't tab in place in alt mode. The legs flop around too. Also has bobblehead doll syndrome. Are theese QC issues that will be fixed later, or is it the fembot bad plastic I've also been hearing about?

That definitely is disappointing the issues you are having with her. This is one i definitely passed on more so for the hideous alt mode. I just cant get past that design they chose. I know everyone has their opinions and what not but for mine, that alone made my decision easy not to buy. The head sculpt seemed pretty good along with the colors but thats it. Who knows if the QC issues will be addressed. I don’t think issues like this will be addressed because of it already manufactured and released for the masses. Unless they rereleased it and fine tuned the issues but otherwise, people have what they have unfortunately. Maybe with the mold they did address the issues with Minerva (Walgreens exclusive).

Classicics and universe megatron have clear plastic on the wings. Is that an issue?

Regarding Megatron! I have a few questions.

First about the classics/United mold:

1. The wings have clear plastic. Is than an issue?
2. Lots of ratchets. are they quality ratchets, or have they already exploded like xxv the seige and earthrise magnus I've heard about.
3. Patriot Prime Reviews on YouTube claims the backpack can be removed with a screwdriver. Another chanell said it would require some major dissasembling. Who is right?
4. Is there a legit website to buy exclusive transformers that is tons cheaper bug doesn't come broken?

Can't remember If I wanted to ask a question about the TR mold, if I remember I will.

Thank you for your time.

Let’s see if i can answer some of these questions.

1. as far as the clear plastic, for myself it hasn’t been an issue. From the last time i transformed him, they seem to be sturdy and i didn't feel like i was going to break or damage them during transformation.

2. I have not transformed mine a great deal so the ratchets on my copy are just fine. In fact, i bought mine from a eBay seller when i was stationed in Germany several years ago and even then the ratchets where tight. Plus, i have only transformed him a couple of times. I seem to not mess with the much ater i buy them. They get transformed once or twice hen put on display.

3. I cannot verify about removing the backpack. I would have to try that myself and i have not done that yet. If i do, i will let you know.

4. I really dont think there is a place to by exclusive transformers at a lower price. I think its a matter of finding the ones you want on sale, perhaps. I know that requires a lot of patience and time to hunt down those select items. One site i go onto from time to time, has Transformers along with all kinds of other toys but you might mind a exclusive once and awhile but mainly its older lines. I was able to buy Transformers from the RID 2001 line at a decent price, as an example. That site is Actionfiguresandcomics.com.

Hope this helps you out, have a blessed day,

SGM

Thank you for answering these questions and even giving me a heads up that it would take a day or two for you to respond. The clear plastic on my 86 Hot Rod is doing fine, and older TF figures such as deluxe Cyclonus sometimes have a separate piece for clear plastic, but we have all heard of the breakages...The ratchets are a bit of a concern, because I am one to fidget with my transformers often. Thank´s for the suggested website I will definitely check that out.

Thank You and God Bless! ;)

Haven't had time to open him yet because I have been very busy lately. But I can post a few gifts I received for Christmas. First off, 86 Rumble. Definetely overpriced, but not without it's charm!

Still on my mind about the Megatron. Have you ever seen this guy? It's a third party target master of some kind.

Edit: I tried to find more info using some key search words, and fount out he is "Mega-gun" form the master shooter collectibles. There is even a browning repaint of him called (get this ) "Brown king"

Still no clue how much he costs or where to get him though. Nerf guns have dominated the search menu.

Interesting, i have never seen these guys. So i did a search on eBay and actually found other listings under Mastershooter Collectibles. They seem to range from 35 to 100 dollars. I didn't see any of the Mega Gun but did see one listing for Brown King. Which of course you have to say, what the heck with that name. Anyways, the one listing for Brown King has another item with it for 46 bucks. Only issue, its hard to see him the package.

I am running my own search now. Found this hilarious image that has to be a tf meme now!

Now for my thoughts on ko core Optimus. He is definitely cool. I though of calling him "Caped Convoy" because super Optimus just does not sound cool enough. He is much larger than the figure he is a knock of, but works surprisingly well. And he looks epic on my unworthy shelf. Comes with a hollow gun suspiciously similar to (Kingdom hot rod's, but maybe it's just me. Transformation allows for tilting the head for a superman pose
Articulation: No waist swivel, but decent. you can get kind of a fake waste swivel if you unpeg the backpack

Scale with a figure this was originally the size of

I think you have a winner on the name too!

Though the gun is similar to Kingdom Rodimus, it is not in fact, kingdom Rodimus Prime (Kingdom Rodimus Prime's folds in half for alt mode weapon storage),

Another Christmas gift: KO Nemisis Prime, equally cool. The SSBB mold looks killer in this color scheme. Too bad I don't have a blacklight, he would surely look good with one.

Nice Christmas gift, even if it is a KO, it is still a good looking figure. Awesome photo shots too!
