Thanks, I actually came up with a way to make a giant gun as well, I'll post pictures when I have time.

Re-arranged my favorite display today, the 86/BW one.

I'm happy with how it looks, but I can't find a good spot for Tigatron. I moved Nemesis down to give Cyclonus some backup.

I wish I could make something for you, for that shelf. Definitely help out how you want to pose Tigatron. I could though.

I'm going to get new shelves soon, but this will do for now. I may make some cooler backdrops and props later (with your advice), but that'll be when I know exactly how I want it and maybe after I split 86 and Beast Wars onto their respective shelves.

My lighting is terrible in the images, but I have too many things to do to worry about that.

Got Seige Prime last Friday from Amazon and I'm glad I didn't give into the scalpers for the earthrise figure. He's fine, and the stylized take on his alt mode is...cool?

Anyway, a decent transformation with a lot of unneeded but very appreciated (Hasbro wasn't too lazy this time) extra steps. He even transforms without rotating the waist, which I did not expect, which calls back to the original figure and makes the feet very interesting. The axe is ok, with its transformation into whatever that is being clever, but pointless.

I'm trying to get a 5mm matrix printed for him, though I figured he can hilariously store several matrixes inside his chest, unconventionally though.

And yes, I'm definitely going to remove the battle damage and see if I can paint the alt grill grey, not sure exactly how though.

Congrats on your latest addition. Id say there is plenty of room for several matrix’s and some Energon cubes in there, hahaha.

For the alt/vehicle mode grill, that shouldn’t be an issue. You could carefully scuff it up with some sand paper and then apply an acrylic paint to it, should be good. Im sure there is other techniques out there for that clear plastic but again, it shouldn’t be difficult.

So I haven't posted for a while.

Yes, I'm still alive.

Got gifted a Lio Convoy during my absence.
Attack Mode Lio Convoy.jpg

I do like this figure. The claw gimmick is stupid but satisfying. Clicking the shoulder pads into place for robot mode is very pleasant as well. The torso section is very interesting and it surprised me how simple yet effective it was. The feet are powerful in robot mode.

He just looks cool, and the kibble isn't even that bad. The backpack can be arranged in 3 different ways, and doesn't peg in; I don't care!

He's not the king, he's the prince! He so needs a cape and sword.
Alternate Matrix Chamber Lio Convoy.jpg

The torso can also open for transformation so I can comit heresy in favor of more conventional matrix methods.

The Lion mode is great as well. The gold next to the yellow parts of the mane blends in suprisingly well and doesn't bother me. The ways the legs transform results in a very pleasing mighty sillouette, absolutely destroying the origional figure, as almost everything does. And the opening mouth is the cherry on top. My only real complaint is the lack of painted eyes. It looks awful, and I'm going to have to fix it myself eventually. No time soon, probably. :(

Some guy gave me an override for free. It's missing a few pieces, and I'm trying to figure out what I can do with it. Probably my first custom, but what? :???:

Well, I did get a little something for Christmas, but I got something for myself before that, and was too lazy/busy to post. As usual :saint:

Going around stores trying to find a deluxe class junkion for a buddy of mine's birthday, I was reminded of how it takes forever for the Walmart by me to stock new figures. I once asked some Youtuber where they get their figures so fast, and they replied Target. Target only had trashmaster and Shadow Striker (well, there was detrius and too many 86 Arcees  ). Not wanting to buy a Voyager, I resorted to Fred Meyer. But they don't know anything about Transformers... They priced deluxe at Voyager price, and sold voyagers for 40. To add to the pain, only they had the Deluxe Legacy Junkions

Realizing I HAVE to pay Voyager price, I decided I might as well buy a Voyager, and stopped by Target again to pick up trashmaster for him. I've never seen him smile like that before, he even let out a little happy cry. (None of my other friends collect generations and really knew what to get him)

But there was another figure there that as a cyberverse fan, I couldn't stop thinking about... Shadow Striker- debateable impulse buy. :KREMZEEK:

Shadow striker is an interesting figure, to say the least. Cyberverse getting represented in legacy seemed way too good to be true. And yeah, it was. After the G2 Colors Drag Strip came out, dubbed "Shadow Strip" I assumed it was just a misunderstood naming circumstance as how everyone assumed there would be a voyager prime soundwave in legacy because of a "PR" prefix  But I was the only one with this opinion, and big surprise, I was wrong. :D Checking the latest TF news one morning, I was instantly hooked on the headline- LEGACY SHADOW STRIKER! Yes! Wait.... what?

After a few seconds, I recognized the truth. This is NOT Cyberverse Shadow Striker. This is LEGACY Shadow Striker. It's a Frankenstein redesign. I can get behind that, but it's not cyberverse!

Upon 5 seconds of examination:
-Base body based on the original exclusive repaint of side burn
-Head based on Cyberverse
- Alt mode Cyberverse accurate, save the grill slapped on from the exclusive

The articulation is a little weird with the way you have to position the shoulders due to where they are attached in transformation, but it works. I've seen pictures of mounting the canopy shield on the back via the port, but that is just a trash option. It either sticks to far from the back awkwardly or sits to one side if you collapse it. I'm scared of the hinge breaking, it already stressed and the friction pin shaves every time it falls off. The back bumper shield is a mandatory parts form. It can combine with the gun to form a neat little axe. The coat tails or whatever they're called can be positioned up. There's a little port on one of them to store the gun. Transformation has a few satisfying (for me) play doughy feeling when the legs click in in robot mode or the doors click in in alt mode. This transformation is pretty interesting, for sure. Makes a hilarious gerwalk mode. I like the alt mode. The clear window actually looks cool for once, but it might break :-(

Overall, pretty cool figure, just worried about the longevity of the canopy. And a little ugh about Hasbro's naming tactics. I'm sure prime fans would love bulkhead's figure more if he wasn't called "prime" bulkhead, and they just admitted him as a redesign

A belated Happy New Year to you.

Looks like you’re enjoying Shadow strike for the most part. Love the photos.

It will be interesting to see if they do release Sideburn with this mold in his original colors , a throwback front the RID 2001. Still not sure if i would buy him but still.

What about the Hot Rod homage repaint? Called "speedbreaker" I think?

Definitely, if they could make him look like what i attached. You are right on the Speedbreaker name, that was from the Japanese line.

Things you learn after nerding around Tfu.info  Putting a figure into a color scheme that homages my favorite character would tempt me to buy it a second time.

I also found out today that a random dollar store transformer I have is actually a knock of a G1 Micromaster. I might post it in more detail as it's a little humorous.
