As promised, here are the new, updated pics of the Robot Room of Fun, now that previous tenant has vacated.

First, we will take a look at the overview of the room:

Here you can see storage bins of excess Legos and Transformers:

Here is the Optimus Prime collection:

Starscream collection right here:

Rodimus Prime/Hot Rod, and the Optimus Primals that I need to increase the numbers for:

Image

The beginnings of a Bumblebee collection, since the 'Bee is about the only part of the Movie franchise that I still enjoy:

Image

The Unite Warriors, who's group I need to stop being cheap about and expand:

Image

Binaltech/Alternators and random figures that I like:

Image

Some Decepticons hiding in the back, the way they do:

Now we get to the best parts of the room, the Masterpieces. Starting with Beast Wars:

Some random guys:

Season 3 of G1:

Season 2 and some Decepticons:

And my favorite part, season 1:

A couple of updated shots of the character collections featuring PotP additions:

Then this guy......

I'm not sure that PotP Rodimus will survive. I hate this figure. I really, really hate it, like, irrationally. I want to take it to the backyard and use it for .22 lr practice. Seriously, my kids even think its a stupid toy.

It might be a mess, but I'm still jealous.

While the mess makes me very uncomfortable on a number of levels, there are some very nice pieces in that collection, and some great display options!

Looking forward to updates, if and when they come! :D

Let me in there! I'll bring a case of Coors Light and some Little Debbies and you and me can go to town.
What do you say?

I also love how Starscream is holdin' it down for Mamaw and Pappy. ;)

I figure with them watching over him, he can't get up to too much trouble. :P

My biggest problem with organized my is time, and Legos.

See, shortly after ROTF came out, I kinda started growing very disillusioned with transformers. I'd felt like that about the fan base for a while, but with the direction I felt the franchise was headed at the time, I was just kinda done. Anyway, I took down almost all of my transformers, and put out my Legos. All of them. Almost 300 sets.

Time went on, and my love of transformers started to feel fr ab and renewed again. Then we started popping out babies. In the near two and a half years since my first was born, I've disassembled and put into baggies for storage nearly all of my Legos. They just aren't a great idea to have on display with little kids underfoot. It's taken quite a bit of time since I can only get to a few sets a week, if that. By the time the boys are in bed, daddy is ready for bed too! While that has been going on, the room has kinda become a catch all for random junk. As a working father and homeowner, the Toyroom is sadly pretty low on the priority list.

But it'll get there, eventually. Maybe updates my this thread will provide motivation.

Ok first off love the artwork on the wall. I just moved to a smaller place so ill have to be creative and fit mine in somehow. Secondly that rum and coke looks really refreshing right about now. And I'm in the same boat as you. The little ones toys have taken over

I second Cobs offer LOL! Corona and bacon wrapped jalapenos are my poison though :D

Seriously, we all start some where and guess what life happens...My room has been through neat to chaos so many times it's not funny. I much prefer neat to chaos but, chaos has it's moments as well.

Diggin' all your kewl toys I could spend hours in there!

And finally TFs and Legos living together, Approved!

An update of sorts.

Made some progress over the last few months. Not much, but some. Most of the Lego sets are disassembled, and placed into baggies for storage. I've hauled a couple of bins to the attic, and sold off some surplus to pay for future acquisitions. Still a lot of work to do, I need a whole day where I can put some hard rock on in the background (or Star Wars soundtracks) and just dig in. My 2 and 3 year old boys frown on that plan though.

Speaking of the rascals, they have caused a sad development. Due to their constant attempts to get to them, I was forced to take my Masterpieces off of display, move them to the toyroom, and to keep them safe, box them up. :(

They will breathe the fresh air of freedom again one day, this I vow!

Where has this thread been hiding out?!
Nice place. The toys around my house might be a little less messy, but I bet my "toy room" is messier than yours 8-}

That's EXACTLY what happened to me, only I started collecting comics instead. I thought the first movie line was pretty cool, but when I looked at the ROTF figures they just seemed like the first ones... again. And I bought the first wave of Animated figures and I wasn't pleased. So that started a 3-5 year hiatus from TF's, excluding the odd figure here and there.

But at the end of the day, with comics, pretty as they may be just end up catagorically sealed up in boxes. Fun to read, not to collect. Not to mention at the time my interest in comics started declining, C/G was in full force, the MP line was going through a rebirth, and the 3P market was went from iffy to holy crap!

This sight depresses me. My most treasured part of my collection, boxed up and set aside.

Image

Only Grimlock remainsout, because my son got ahold of and promptly destroyed his box about a year ago.

I can relate, pretty much my whole collection is boxed up. I have nowhere to display them at the moment. Why's your other family boxed up?

I got bored, so I dug out and lined up the Autobots.

Nothing cures boredom like a line of Autobots.
How did that Blue Notstreak turn out?

Bluestreak is awesome. A lot of ko's seam to be very loose, but this one isn't. Even his gun fits his hand as good as the original. The Red Alert I got is quit floppy, but I'm very happy with Bluestreak. Helps make up for the horrid disappointment that is Hot Rod.

Looks great! The line of Alternators is sweet, and all the prints are dope! Love seeing all the M.A.S.K.. Makes me wanna break some out. I haven't handled those toys since the damn 90's.

What's the energon ax in your G1 Prime's socket? Add on?
