My lighting is **** and editing the photo seems to have made it worse

Hopefully we'll get a spy patrol unit 4 with Buzzsaw and some Ravage redeco. I'm hoping for that SG white Ravage instead of another Howlerback girl. I really don't care about the powermasters in the 3rd set. I wonder if they'd fetch a decent price on the secondary market

When they work, they work well, but most of the time the space is just too restrictive.

Found a good use of some spare blast effects to make Rumble do what he does best.



You know what he says ... "First we crack the shell, then we crack the nuts inside."



Rumble and Ratbat are a cool set and look good with Soundwave.



I was hoping to store Rumble in Soundwave's chest, but I feel that Ravage makes a better chest filler. His deco just compliments SW so well.



Oh well, guess I'll have a lone Siege Rumble in the shrine until Frenzy shows up. I'm going to continue to display Siegewave with the TR Frumbles because I feel they scale better. Doesn't hurt that they also look good.



So is Frenzy just an exclusive set figure now? Also - GIMME A SIEGE BUZZSAW DAMMIT!

I got Smashmouthdown the other day and it's a neat figure. Doesn't live up to the hype, but what ever does? I'm glad I got the ER version as I'm collecting the maps if I get the figures.

Smashdown is neat and made of some dense plastic that fits the nature of turning into a hammer. Hammer time is definitely their strong point. Bot mode is alright, better than Pteraxadon for sure, but is just weird in that "hey, I got a bull head for no reason" kinda way. Had a bit of that RiD2015 beast bot vibe, which I dig. The effect piece is pretty cool.

First things first, I got's to get that bad Smash Mouth reference taste out of my mouth and what better way then with something from Offspring's Smash album?

Let's talk about Smashdown's modes. Bot mode is pretty good, but articulation is pretty limited.



Transformation is way simple, but makes a really convincing hammer.

And lastly, what I've retcon'd into the Smashball Special.

If you have Soundwave, you can take his grey gun, fold it out completely, and attach it to Smashdown's handle to form a bigger handle. Works well for Ultra Magnus.
