Sad to see the prime figures making their way to storage Cobs, but glad you got to go through the Transformations again.

that line was really good, I still enjoy them a lot, and they all fit on 1 bookshelf level each, and they display so well.

In retrospect, which one is your favorite and why?

Oooooh, that's a hard one, but an excellent question. Give me a few as I have so many memories, reasons and moments with each of them. As I've said many times before, Prime figures are why I now have a room full of Transformers and in that room they have the most exalted shelf to themselves.

I agree, Prime was the first line I went completionist on (other than movies).

It is hard to narrow it down from all those toys, there are some really good ones. BH Wheeljack, Sharkticon Megatron, the Vehicon, BH Magnus, all really good toys

Probably Wheeljack. And more specifically the Dark Energon one. Because I'm a dirty whore for translucent plastic. I just really like the character design. The transformation is quick, smooth, and intuitive. and, SWORDS!!!

Second would probably be Knock Out. Love his tight little transformation, and both modes are neat. Of course him being repurposed into Bluestreak Bloddy Knock Out doesn't hurt.

Prime really never struck deep with me. Came in a time of my life where great change was happening and that's where my focus fell. That being said my most favorite toys from Prime were Cyberverse (the original use of the name). Those are some toys I will never consider selling off.

All of it!! The only thing I think I didn't get was the Bumble Bee Mech.
I even dabbled in the Movie Cyberverse stuff just because I love that kind of scale and play environment so much.

A lot of it for me is the fond memories and then the toys are just so damn good. Even when you compare FE vs standard retail, each has their own strong points. I also forgot about BH figures - fudge......

Ah yes WJ is good and I have both version of the mold. He was one of my first if not first, either him or CliffyJ (standard).

I never got too deep into the Cyberverse figures, but BH Bulkhead is an awesome little robo viking. The deluxe BH Bulk is cool as well. Not sure if you guys remember my post apocalyptic team that consisted mostly of BH figures 8-)

Dark Energon Megs is my default Megatron (because of hindsight costs) and I have DE Starscream. Fortunately I was able to resist the puff form that rock candy pipe.

With that said I'm going to go with my fav as FE Starscream. I loved the Prime version of that character, not that it was a huge departure, but he just seems so much more twisted and conniving. The FE figure is a near perfect representation of the on screen character and a fun toy to boot. Of all the Prime figures, that's the one I grab the most (well that one or the DE version).

I was also lucky enough to pick that figure up from Ross for $8. I hemmed and hawed on the Voyager, but I could just never pull the trigger.

OM never appealed to me, but I did get the cyberverse figure and it's pretty cool. I have WJ's Jackhammer at a legends scale. I still haven't figure out a good way to display it though. I'd love to pull off some type of forced perspective thing, but just haven't taken the time to try and figure it out.

So D, what's your one favorite and why?

Which vehicle was your favorite?

I got the Breakdown Apex armor and that was it. Is pretty fun though!

And Cary, i don't think I can narrow down the prime line to 1 definitive favorite. Sharkticon Megatron and BH Wheeljack might top it, but it's a very narrow race

I had a hard time and had to force myself to commit. Those are some interesting choices. I put most of the BH stuff pretty far down on the list. The only exceptions are Ultra Magnus and Shockwave, but let's be honest, they don't really count as BH figures. They were both just late to market and got shoe-horned in with some BH like stuff to wear to dinner parties.

Cobotron wrote:The Movie Arc is pretty fun too.
Was that in the Prime line or just movie cyberverse? I heard the good things, probably from you.

Every time I see one (including my own copy on the Prime shelves), I'm amazed at how well that '07 Leader class movie Prime holds up.

You know I'm not a movie fan, but that is one of my most favorite OP toys of all time. ;)^

I DID! I let him stay, and a few friends to keep him company. But the time has come I'm afraid. I must make space.

Remember, I'm not selling anything at the moment. Just sending them to the deep freeze.
If I get a hankerin' I know where to find him.

Edit: I do wish I had that awesome Night Moves version you have D.

Oh I know you aren't planning to sell, just that he should be the 1 movie guy you let stay out. That mold works on so many levels.

And that Nightwatch one is really cool. I adore the colors Cobs. The teal is sweet, complete with black fade with silver flames.

I wish more people could experience that figure. Maybe if you come to a East coast TFcon, you could stop by and check it ;)

His legs are always loose. Even my TAV re-re-re-release is loose.

Those pics reminds me of another Soundwave I need to pick up :BANG_HEAD:

Sweet dreams toon crew. I-)

Do you mean in his hips? Then yes. But, it doesn't keep him from standing or holding a pose.

Oh, let's not get dramatic now Z. They're just going in some bins for a while. Not being burned at the stake, or sent to the smelter.

  I had had the thought that this is one Soundwave you should have in your shrine. Speaking of loose legs though, he is a loose goose, but by far one of my favorite not-a-tape-deck SW designs ever. Plus Laserbeak guitar!!!!

Oh I know, I just meant in general :)

As for Lockdown, I haven't handled my Blazing Lockdown but I don't remember him being loose :-?
