I really do want that RTS Lugnut, great looking figure, but I can't find him for a decent price when I've been looking.

If that man had approved of Armada Sideswipe I might've given it a try

holy lugnuts
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TRANSFORMERS-LU ... SwOyJX631y

you would be better off getting the animated version

Yeah, but the animated one is a bit rubbish. The RTS one is far superior, being a better size and has an amazing look

yeah that mold is garbage

It's not garbage, but it is one of the lesser of the Animated molds. And just to rub salt in my own wound I had the chance to win a loose RtS Lugnut for about $30 in an eBay auction but I dropped out because I'd been on a buying spree. :-(

See, I'm ok with the animated version. just the size and some small parts like the massive weapon are off to me, hence a little rubbish.

And I was on a buying spree too, had to calm down some. Just got my Baymax today from Big Hero 6, and I still have 5 more packages due in the next week

I just ignore the weapon when he's in robot mode. Buying sprees can be fun but after everything gets in I sorta just look back and think that was a lot of money spent in a short amount of time. For example, I already have 4 preorders due from January to March of next year. The March one will probably be delayed for at least a month, going by the company's previous releases. And then there's Titans Return Waves 3 and 4 amongst other things. 8-}

Oh I hear you with the buying sprees. In the past few weeks I've ordered over $150 worth of Transformers, not to mention that shattered glass prime preorder for December, which will be the most expensive Transformer I've ever bought by a longshot

I legit only have 6 figures. I feel so funny here sometimes. Of course I probably will have a huge collection eventually. I started watching a little over 2 years ago so maybe buying figs at a slow rate is best?

Probably about 2/3 of everything I have is from when I was younger. I never got rid of my Transformers so my collection has been 10 years in the making. Yes, I think it is good to buy figures slowly(says the guy that was just talking about buying sprees). It gives you more time to truly appreciate the figure and it is a little more important too.

I do remember having a TON of Dragon Ball Z figures when I was younger. At the time I didn't have a lot of fancy things to keep myself entertained with - no cable TV, game console or internet until at least 2005. Creating stories and having adventures with my toys was one of the ways I entertained myself.

Now that I am an adult I don't play with my toys the same way perhaps, but I still do like to pose them and make short stories to role play with my friends online. Most the time I just like to display them or maybe have one in my hand while I watch baseball to fidget with.

I don't feel I have to have every single figure but there are quite a few on my wishlist lately. :P

Me neither, I gots the ragrets.
He was released in the time when I was going hardcore on comics and for the most part ignoring toys. Actually I've been watching for the Takara version, waiting on the right price. I'll nab one some day ;)

Thanks for the tip, BB! I'll keep an eye on them. They're on the Christmas list so I'll probably just recommend that the folks order sooner than later. In other ML news, I'll have a Deadpool coming in January via Entertainment Earth.

I just looked up the Takara deco and it is pretty nice looking. That blue is really purdy.

So far the only figure from the Xmen wave I haven't seen in stores is Deadpool unfortunately. I'm glad Cable is pretty plentiful since that's the only other one I want from that wave. I might have better luck if I checked out a Walgreens but there's only one close to me and we don't really go there.

Between Transformers, Star Wars, and the occasional Lego I don't have the budget for entire waves. Right now I'm trying to limit myself to MCU characters and comic characters I like. So for the Dr. Strange wave only MCU Strange and Iron Fist are actually on my radar. I might pick up Mordo if he's cool in the movie.

As everyone else, I'm glad Seibertron's back up. But in other news, today I'm heading to Steel City Con in Monroeville, PA with my dad. I'm hoping to find some Beast Wars and/or Star Wars 3 3/4. Aaron Archer is also going to be there so I might see him and ask him what he thinks of the latest happenings in the fandom.

Yeah it was neat. I made a post in the TF haul thread of what I got, I think it's a couple posts up the page now. I put Bucky and Falcon on my Christmas list so I'll let you know on Dec. 25.

Northwest. Granted it's mostly north and just a little west.

Huh, you really aren't that far away from me. My house is an hour north and slightly west of school, where I'm at right now

That's neat Dmax. Maybe we can meet up somewhere and somehow. So this was on display at the doors. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Also took a picture with the new bot and cons. Definitely some good figures.
Image
And in celebration of the Rogue One premiere I took a little picture for that too. To bad I can't see it till the weekend. I here it's really good better than Force Awakens too.

And finally, we just got Netflix so I started watching Daredevil and I've almost finished the first episode. I can see what all the praise was for now.

I'm actually going to meet the boss in person. I'll be attending a Chemistry conference in March in chicago, and Seibs said we'd meet up since the conference is only 20 minutes from where he lives.

But yeah, we're close enough that we're bound to bump into each other at some point in time

Ahhhhhhhhh! Going to see Rogue One tomorrow! Can't wait.

That Con looks like it's pretty fun.
Dare Devil is really good. Darker than I expected, but really well made. When you're done with that, you've GOT TO check out Luke Cage!!!!!!!
