That's a great pic! I have a similar shot when I received Generations Metroplex with my old dog. They were happy together :-D

The teeny tiny not-reflector kicking not-Broadside is pure comedy plastic.

Broadside vs Reflector. Too bad we never saw that in the toon. And boy, does that Broadside blow his G1 counterpart away!!

If I end up with that Corvette mold I'm getting Road Rage and not Tracks. I like the car, but never had an attachment to Tracks as a character.

EDIT: Red Bumblebee!! Thundercracker also looks very nice. Better than my Hasbro MP.

If you didn't see Va'al's post, it's supposed to be a C/G stand in for Broadside! He has sooooo much diecast... I almost sprained my wrist trying to pose him

Thanks :D
When I was setting it up, the only real goal was to have that lil kick in place.

A ham sandwich would blow G1 Broady away

Y'all should watch Vangelus' review!

To be honest... for some reason I'm not feelin RR... when I look at it all I see is a bland sea of red and bits of navy blue. Tracks has a more varied (and pleasing) color scheme. And perhaps I'm just bitter that RR doesn't have a faceplate.

itscramtastic wrote:EDIT: Red Bumblebee!! Thundercracker also looks very nice. Better than my Hasbro MP.
Aside from the lack of a faceplate, I'm loving Red Bee. And Bluecracker is to (my surprise) soooooo much nicer than Hasbro's. He was bought out of nessesity, but damn am I glad I did.

That was a great video review, I never thought to watch it before!

That's almost the way I feel about Tracks, just blue/red instead of red/blue :)

They didn't include the faceplate OR Spike? And that's great about Thundercracker, but I just can't swing the price! I'm at the point now where I really don't want to spend more than $150 on a bot, or even bots! You're an MP completest, aren't you?

But the yellow on Tracks does a lot for me. S'all personal taste ;)

Nope, pretty lame of them actually.

And yes, to the detrement of my wallet, I am an MP completist. I'm glad I am though. The oddballs one normally wouldn't get usually end up being my faves.

So... I've gotten a lot of toys this week, and trust me I wasn't planning on a 100+ visit to TRU. But the stars aligned and I couldn't deny Primus could I?

OOOOoooooooh! He is awesome. :x
Like a crystalline apple drenched in rich creamy caramel. =P~

Tell me sir, did they neuter the light feature like with RID Scourge, or can he glow with the power of Primus?

Awesome pick ups!

@Cobs: I get a caramely goodness from the YOTG guys. I wanna say I've seen one in person and was real tempted.

Boom, and there's the idea for the next photo challenge ;)

Wait I have a room full of things I consider "decor"; the Mrs disagrees :(

Well fellas... I've done it this time. In my quest to be an MP completist, I went and did this.

Image

Now. Let me tell you, I like this fella waaayyyy more than I thought I would. In fact, I'll get my dislikes out of the way: the axe and Matrix should be unique, as it is they're the same as the OG MP10 as far as I know.

His overall red is like... painted flat. That's how it looks in hand anyways. It's pretty nice. His eyes are gold (and really hard to capture in pics) much like the green Bape. His clear plastic (windows and groin bits) are smoked. And as far as build quality goes, he is the most solid MP10 I have to date! All around, its just really nice. I'm a happy fella tonight. :-D

(I included the bottom box shots for those interested in the stamp for authentication sake, cause there's KO's already!)

Wow wee! You gone and done it.
I like that deco. I can see the matte finish in your shots, and it looks pretty smoove.
I like the dark tones too. Darker than I remember.

I forget, you do have green BAPE, right? What MP figures do you NOT have? Besides Ironhide and the like, of course.

Nope, no Greeny yet. I'm not attempting to get him until the Canadian dollar recovers.

The MP's I don't have aarreee:

Takara- MP01B (black 1), MP03G (ghost SS), MP04 (1 with trailer), MP04S (dead Prime), MP08 (I got the first TRU Grim though), MP10A (Green Bape)

Hasbro- 20th Prime (MP01), Skywarp, MP02 Soundwave

Out of 70ish MP's, Hasbro/Takara and exclusives, that's pretty good I think :-D

Also, the more I look at the list of MPs, the more I wish I picked up Acid Storm and Sunstorm. They just look cool.

First MP I purchased? Hasbro 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime from TRU back in 2004.
