Late birthday present, got it a few minutes ago. Also from sirtoys. A Rubix cube colored transparent blue to look like energon. (Scale with a deluxe figure.)

Opened Onsaught today. Nice. Combined with legs, he's freaking huge! Earthrise prime for scale.

Nice looking, definitely not bad even for a KO set! Hopefully you got him all combined with no issues.

Opened Blast off yesterday. Yes, I am one who actually enjoys his modernization, just wish the transformation didn't change.

Today, the final limb= vortex. I enjoy finally having my fist combiner complete! He is a joy! On the funny side, I can only get him to hold Shockwave left handed!

Anyone know a place I can sell some crap full price, quickly and easily? I could benefit from a few dollars for my collection.

He is fun. You should regret skipping him, he now costs 10 doll hairs extra. (ExceptMike, which costed 10 dollars below retail! ) Hes a very fun figure, He'll be my upgraded/resurrected Optimus Prime. Head cannon is an important part of justifying your collection. That's what helps me often decide, how would my figures work in a story. Anyway, he has a nice transformation and cleans up on the bottom well. His exhaust pipes are seige blast compatible, so I borrowed some from Hot Rod. Borrows Earthrise Legs, but I dont have Sarthrise, and it works well here. A nice headsculpt too. I'm proud of my purchase, and it was definitely a great deal!

Very glad your happy with him. I have the G2 version so I'm good with that. In my collecting I have started to be more picky about the new ones I buy. I'm still working on buying missing accessories/weapons for a select number G1 and G2 guys. I use to just buy everything that came out but now I really ask do I need it and does it fit in with what I have. In my Transformer room, im about max out on space. Again, glad you like him, enjoy having him in your collection.

I am not very impressed with legacy soundwave. His space. Barrrage alt mode is absolutely trash. Both of his cassette alt modes dont work well either. Masterpiece superior, legacy inferior.

Trying to decide on many things, like megatron: titans return and reveal the sheild, or classics/united?

Besides Megatron are there any others you are thinking about? In regards to which line you might choose from, is that a select number of characters or just favorites across all those particular lines?

To me, Classics/United and Reveal the Shield are close in that you can put them all on the same shelf, along with some from the Universe line. Thats my opinion and how i have that particular shelf set up in my one case.

I'm not the richest, so I can only afford to have one or two G1 style megatrons. So I have to choose between a tank megatron (tr) and mini Megatron (RTS) a nerf megatron (classics), or a gun megatron (united)

I'm also thinking about replacing my out of scale optimus. Seige seems to be the best contender so far, but I'd need a Tomn of mods to make it work.
And yes, I try to limitcharecters in my collection. I have a G1 shelf, upgrade/G2 shelf, beast wars and 86 shelf. Will probably add in a G.I. Joe shelf.

And thanks for noticing the profile pic, I was glad how it turned out. very fin to make with my photo editor

Got it, so I would say maybe try for the Classics Megatron or United version. I am fortunate to have both and have them in their gun mode hanging on the wall (see photo). Of course the United version is more G1 like with the colors than the other one. I also added a photo of them in robot mode in the display case. It maybe hard to really tell how they look overall.

The TR version isn’t too bad, still decent in its own fashion/way. For mine I ended up painting both piece black to match since the one piece comes gray. You can connect them together. Then i added a different Decepticon logo on his chest.

Thank you for the thoughts! If I ever bought the tr I'd ask a customizer how to add a waist swivel and remove all the pieces specially for the jet mode. Could you show me how megatron tank mode looks without the wings? Fold them up if you dont want to remove them.
This would help my decision and I would greatly appreciate it. You are the most friendly and helpful member I've met so far, you're welcome.
