Most nostalgic line? Well, I didn't get into Transformers until 2007 with the movie and animated, but to me I long for another show like Prime. I loved the show a lot. It had great characters, some great fights, some great storylines. And the transformers themselves: they had the more complex design that I like but they still made complete sense and looked their parts. Bulkhead remains in my Top 5 Autobots of all time, behind Trailbreaker, Sideswipe and Brainstorm (mainly due to more publicity) and Smokescreen was a fun character too. Not to mention the Beast Hunters toys. Those are so awesome and they look nice behind my RiD guys on my shelf. And, finally, the Magnus/Wheeljack v Predaking remains my favorite action sequence of all transformers time. Bisk and Bee fighting in a rock concert in RiD is my favorite overall, but that one was just such a huge fight. It was amazing, put most of the movie fights to shame :MAXIMAL:

Aww man I loved Prime and Animated! Especially Prime! :D

Yeah I love Trailbreaker. I actually am really wanting to get CW Trailbreaker mostly because of the new head and arms. He just looks amazing.

Good evening fellow Seibertronians! For a while now I have hinted at me doing a customization of that beat up AoE High Octane deluxe Bumblebee for a while now. I at first said I'd do a zombie customization, and then said a Cliffjumper customization. However, I have finally decided what to customize him into. A sort of original character I suppose. I present to you, the work in progress for my new custom: Decepticon Beetle. I hope you enjoy, and look forward to updates on him! :D

Image

Image

I did some white paint stripes on him and then used a brush to splotch on a bit of black paint to make the stripes look a bit worn. I am pretty happy with the end result.

Image

For the windows, I painted them with the same black paint as the rest of him, but then painted over it with a black Sharpie to give it a tinted window shine look. Not perfect, but works a bit.
Image

The back taillights and license plate are unpainted. Still deciding what to do with that.
Image

The undercarriage, unlike how Bee originally was, with all the black, disguises the robot parts pretty well I think!

Image

TRANSFORM.

Image

Now he looks like a Darth. :B

Image

Image

Head with hood panels flipped up.

Image

...and head with hood panels flipped down to reveal his patched eye. I actually carved out the patched eye so that I'd have some room to put some hot glue in there to add the patch. With the other eye, I removed the blue paint he previously had, painted the eye white, and then marked over it with some pink Sharpie. HE HAS PINKEYE!

Image

There are still a couple yellow spots I need to touch up. :P
I am looking forward to touching some things up, and then eventually making him a custom weapon! I need to sometime find that missile that he came with so that I can cut it and glue a spearhead to it or something to look like a giant harpoon! I am pretty happy with this so far as my first full-on custom! :D I'll post updates soon, and maybe even shoot a video of it when it's done!

Awesome!

Also, man, I feel bad for Beetle. I had pinkeye in January, and it sucked.

I am trying to decide what weapon I should make for him. I am thinking of using some straws to make a minigun of some sort. :-?

With the help of a broken Armada Starscream sword handle, some coffee stirs, some coffee bag seal ties, and my always handy hot glue-gun, I have made something incredibly awesome.

All I need to do now is do a couple touch-ups and then paint it! :D Do you guys agree that this kinda looks like something Alpha Bravo would use?

I sympathize with you. :(

I patched up a couple yellow areas on his robot mode too, as well as removing the lower arm side pieces to differentiate from Bumblebee, as well as give him more arm clearance. :D Hope it looks good so far. The gun is a bit messy looking to me for some reason. I think it's the glue. I'll try some things to fix that.

I might take another picture soon, but try to make the lighting so that it come across clearly how dark and black this guy looks in hand. He is sinisterly dark.

Thanks Mom! You're the best! :D

In case some of you don't know, Cybertron Clocker was my very first Transformer toy. I lost my second copy of him in the dust years ago in 2008. I now have a "new" one though! Such nostalgia! Such wow! :KREMZEEK:

Since I am going to be launching my Youtube channel soon, I am planning to do a series called "Old Toy Tuesday" where I look at nostalgic and old toys I have either owned for a long time, or used to own. I think Clocker here would be a great first OTT review candidate! :D

It's so odd feeling how heavy this Scout figure is too. He is actually about the same weight it seems, if not MORE than the weight of some modern deluxes. I can only imagine what Cybertron deluxe Red Alert felt like! That is one I have my eye on as well! I didn't have that toy before, but the Cybertron line in general is a nostalgia-fest for me.

I really want to get Ultra class Jetfire too. That thing I remember seeing in the little advert that came with my first Clocker. I always loved how that thing looked. Such a cool plane.

He's a fun little figure. My biggest gripe with him would be the obtrusive cyber-key gimmick.

Yeah it's not the best, but I don't mind it. It's still a really cool figure, and is probably one of the best scouts from the Cybertron line. I might get a Brakedown at some point to go with him.

What Cybertron figures would you say are your favorite?

Clocker was neat. With those pipes, I always wanted a lil Hotrod repaint.

SillySpringer wrote:What Cybertron figures would you say are your favorite?
Cybertron Defense. Hotshot and Scattershot.

And Prime.

Hands down, Optimus Prime. One of the best iterations of Optimus Prime ever. Fantastic alt mode, fantastic robot mode, fantastic super robot mode. If you ever get the chance, get him.
