Hey guys, I wasn't sure where to ask this so I figured Id put it here in my collection thread. I've been looking for a Perceptor figure for my collection but I don't like the most recent Classics version where he is a truck. I was wondering if anyone on the forums knew of a good 3rd party (or official if it exists) Perceptor that transforms into a telescope.
Thanks for any leads!

KFC has a nice looking one, but he is out of stock at the usual haunts. I have one in my TFS stack and I've heard good things about him.

The Generations figure is very nice actually. I own him and am very happy with him. He stays in robot mode most of the time anyway. You can check the gallery here.

Hahaha, I got mine on a mad TFS sale. I didn't want nor not want him, but I couldn't pass up the price. I almost picked up the black version on an equally crazy sale, but I decided to skip.

Here's a cool shot I took today- just for the record, I do not claim to be a photographer by any means. I'm actually pretty horrible at picture taking. I just enjoy capturing scenes as best I can.

I'll be reorganizing my display this week so I'll take some more pics soon :-D

Hey guys! I figured it was time for a bit of a collection update! It's nothing substantial, and I still have some more to organize but here she is!

Here is my primary Autobot shelf! I have more but it would clutter the shelf too much if I added them in.

One of my favorite new figures! If you haven't gotten Blurr yet then I recommend you do

And here is the beginning of the next shelf I'm working on, beginning with the Aerialbots

Hey guys, I've been wondering what you all think of mixing MP figures and Generations figures? I've been minimally dipping my toe into the water for MP figures but only for my favorite characters. I don't really want to start two collections of both MP and Generations, but if it doesn't look good then I may. What do you all think?

Do what looks good/works for you. Draw outside the lines. Have fun!

I mix and match, but I also have dedicated collections, like my Prime shelf.

On my "MP" shelf in have Gen leaders next to MPs, a Prime pink Arcee, WfC Bee (until MP Bee usurped him), an alternator fig and a few other rando figs.

Honey badger that shelf!

Hey guy! Here's a bit of a collection update. I've been working on rearranging on a new, wider shelf. I plan on moving the taller figures to the back to prevent blocking shorter characters. How do you guys like to organize your figures? By faction, season, or any other way? Any suggestions are welcome!

Looks good Joe. You have amassed a good collection in a fairly short time.
You know me, I like to organize my guys with the chaos of an epic battle of the ages. :michaelbay:

I also tend to organize by toy line though too.

Thanks Cobotron! I've been collecting for a few years seriously (i think).
Oooooh, battle of the ages sounds fun! :D
I'm not sure if I'm gonna organize by toy line because 1) I don't have that many lines and 2) I really enjoy mixing MP figures with Generations figures. I absolutely adore Mp figures but because of the price I tend to stick to just my favorite characters. Otherwise I'd totally have a Generations display AND a Masterpiece display.

I tend to organize by some sort of theme. Wreckers, Lost Lighters, CW, RID, but sometimes I just go ape **** and pile them up.

The wise man of the plains once compared a collection to a bonsai tree. Ever changing, constantly pruning, never a finished product but a journey.

Do what feels or looks right to you.

We love plastic, so you'll always get an applause from this eager audience.

Thanks Cary! Speaking of Lost Lighters I really need to get into the comics. I'm just about to finish Season 4 of G1, I've seen Prime, and the Bay films and that's all I have in terms of transformers under my belt.

I never feel satisfied with the organization of my collection. It got to the point with my Star Wars collection that I just had to force myself not to rearrange it for a while, and stop doing it at least once a week :BOOM:

Thanks guys! I'm loving him! To be honest with you Cobo, I haven't even transformed him yet. I just love his robot mode so much. Easily one of my favorite figures now. He may even be better than MP10 Optimus :-?

TBH I find MP transformations to be ultra tedious sometimes. Magnus's is one I find to be an absolute joy. It's so fluid and intuitive for me.

super glad our recommendations worked out for you. With a figure that big and expensive it can be a bit unnerving to recommend. I'm happy you're happy. ;)^
