Every review I've seen of those AoE OS KOs have had nothing but good things to say, especially the Hound one. I'm pretty sure that Lockdown comes with regular face AND gun face!

Yup, he has it all, I took some more pics of mine which can be found here: pictures-of-voyager-age-of-extinction-lockdown-with-alternate-head-t105477.php#p1731441

While KO may be a negative term, it doesnt always equate cheapness. Toys are cheaper simply because the design was stolen and your just paying for the manufacturing aspect. The material on some KOs is as high quality as regular toys. In the case of that lockdown, he even comes with die cast :D

Here is some examples of the general scale I try to keep with Sunbow/IDW G1 for my classics collection. Ultra Magnus in a leader size, Dinobots at ultra, Optimus/Megatron/Springer at voyager, Prowl/Hound/Chromdome at deluxe, Bee/Powerglide/Tailgate at legends and etc., then throw in a quintesson, a human and the cassettes.

I kind of had fun with the scale thing last time. (But it's always something I consider anyway; even when I buy the toys.) So here's something a little more obvious; click to enlarge --

Naturally, the poses are all from the scale chart. :)

Well sure!

I wish that 3rd Party MP Jazz would get here..

Do you happen to have a Decepticon shot?

No Decepticon shot unfortunately. I don't have any of the jets, and my Shockwave is back in Japan. Also, Takara hasn't given us Megatron yet. :-? I wonder if it's because he's complicated; or if they think that some fans will stop buying once they finally get Megatron.

Ah the seekers. And the lack of an official Megatron in the right scale. I'm pretty happy with my set of G1 S1 'Cons, still need a Kickback representative as well as a better Reflector. And then I'm done with them

So yeah, if Takara does a new Megatron? I'd be close to finished with that set, still need my TF:TM MPs though.

Thanks. I only have a few scale complaints with my figures. Main one is no voyager seekers, I love my FoC Seekers but wish they were bigger.

Thats a 3p grimlock right? Also, does this mean you use the Prime version of Optimus as your classics Optimus? Do you think it works better than the Classics Optimus prime?

I hate KOs because of the stolen toy designs, not the quality.

Dark of The Moon Deluxe class Optimus works well with Voyager class Megatron, I think.

I have this big thing set up but my baby needed me and by the end, the good lighting was gone so it will have to wait till tomorrow. You can easily see in my pics how lighting can change everything. I did take a bit at different times to explore scale a bit.

I realized that there are lots of good scales where Shockwave and Megatron can interact. And sadly, the MP isnt one of them, you'll see:

Image

MP Shockwave instead seems to work better with CW Leader Megatron:

Image

And here are other decent scales, that deluxe one is perfect. Its almost good that deluxes shrunk within 2 years time:

Image

Image

And here is a pretty decent MP scale, using only 2 actual MP bots:

Image

And lastly, I just had some fun with the different seekers. There are so many molds that ll seekers can have their own individual body. I would prefer them to all be the same though, but I was just having fun with the deluxe scale and trying things out:

I love that you're using the deluxe Warpath as a MP minibot, great idea! ;)^

I also need to track down that Prime TC - Tak Am right?

Yeah, it really worked out, I was glad to think of it. I am doing another display where my deluxes are the characters usually represnted by voyagers and it just dawned on me that I could just use legends Groove to represent the bots that would usually get a deluxe scale instead. I hope to do those pics tomorrow.

Prime TC aint an easy find. I mean, e-bay will have him, but they will charge you an arm and a leg. Here is he only one at a fair price: http://jungle-scs.co.jp/sale_en/?page_i ... 1000016823

But the shipping might not be cheap so there is this too: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Takara-Tomy-TRAN ... xy3zNSpZbw

The reason he aint cheap is because he was only available exclusively in these camera stores in japan. He wasnt available at the usual toys stores. Dont know if it was the same with Skywarp. What is cool though is that these are retooled. I dont know if you can tell but he has these bombs under his wings. These give him 5 mm pegs in jet mode to hols his arms micron (which is a goat that turns into a drill). Dont know if the commander at Botcon had some around ;)
