Yeah that's Cthulhu.

Mkall's list of most of his alt images are still on his post on the first page of the fanmade alt mode thread, fairly easy to ID his icons there.

Image - Think this is based on G1 Blades?
Image - AB-01 from Robotech
Image - C-130 Hercules Airplane
Image - E-2C Hawkeye Recon Plane
Image - Think this was based on Movie Incinerator

Image - USS Virginia
Image - Titanic
Image - G1 Hot Spot's Repair Bay
Image - G1 Dai Atlas
Image - G1 Triplechanger Prototype

* I do not know which ones these are, I remember I pulled a lot of battleship images off the net that day, but didn't bother remembering the names of some of them... generically labeling them 'battleship' in my alt filenames.

I believe the Magos Biologos have codified that particular abomination of the Hive Fleets as a 'Hierophant'.

...Sorry, had a 40k in-universe moment there. But I am fairly certain that particular alt is the 'Tyranid Hierophant Bio-Titan', if one wishes the exact name. It matches the image in my old copy of the "Apocalypse" rules...

Relax, Phase, geez, it's not like anyone has any reason to be scared of me, I'm not Gore or anything... I'm a Red-Badged XP Generator, remember? I was just saying in case anyone wanted the more in-depth information, but bio-titan's perfectly fine, no problem...

Correction in my previous post I mistakenly called that airplane alt Whisper. In fact it was the Armada Minicon Terradive.

Ahem. Moving on.

Image - 25 - this alt is listed as gobot2 which is a clue to its identity as: Silver-Bot (aka Silverbolt)

Note, this is not from the 80s Gobots line at all, rather an obscure transformers line that was aimed at much younger children by Hasbro in the early 2000s long after they had aquired the gobots name (and had used it already in G2) which they confusingly called Big Adventures Go-Bots. (After for one year of calling them Playschool Big Adventures Transformers)
Craptacular right?

More from that same line:
Image - 475 - Cheetor

Image - 169 - Strong-Bot

Image - 151 AND Image- 98 - Are both Buzzer-Bot

Welcome back! Also, very nice to finally meet you (you're one I'm told many a good story about) ;)

EDIT: If you see any that are mislabeled in the Alt Identification Checklist thread, or that you know a better source for, feel free to let me know. I'm more than happy to change them ;)^

Scorponok's base mode was causing a spot of bother identifying the source image. Toy or artwork.

I'm sure most of them are either liberal or conservative media conspiracies. Nevertheless, I hope we can still be friends :)
