Beast Wars Transmetal Scavenger custom
Posted: Mon Feb 26, 2024 8:08 pmSo overall Ive been hit or miss with me doing custom paint jobs on Transformers.
I recently started doing a few which have been pretty great.
This is one Ive been puzzling out since I saw the reissue of Antagony came with a spare head based on the Transmetal Beast Wars Scavenger pictured below.
I had to make a creative choice as the beast ant head was red, but the bot chest a metalic green ish. So I split the difference and made it both.
And while its relatively clear that the purple and green are metalic so are the silver, gold and red...its just not as apparent in the pics.
I highly recommend the paints I have pictured here as well.
Obviously this is a spare Legacy Inferno body with a drill add on kit from ebay.
I considered getting a spare Scavenger and grafting on the mechanical legs and antenna. But opted to pass on it do to the amount of work needed. Silver paint turned out to be a fair trade.
