A better choice of base mold than the official one coming up.

Can she still combine, or is there too much paint on the peg? I've been meaning to customize PotP Jazz into Backstreet for years, but I've had such bad luck dying plastic lately.

Thanks! And yes, she can still combine. After a thorough cleaning and sanding, I use several thin layers of paint, and seal them with floor wax. The wax makes a very durable, almost plastic-like coating.

*Edit - I forgot to mention that I used the Richochet version of the mold since it was mostly black. Also, the entire upper windshield/roof area is actually molded in translucent plastic and painted from underneath and on the surface with tampos on the surface. Hope that helps if you decide to repaint any of the Jazz mold(s).

That custom is absolutely awesome! ... appart the head.
If you can manage to find or commission a custom 3D printed head, you'll have perfection.

Thanks. I decided to use the Holo-Mirage head because it's what I had on-hand, and I wanted her to still look similar to the old GoBots show.

You know, you can edit your posts.

Also, if there's some 3D printing pro out there with a Shapeway shop, making a truly cartoon accurate head compatible with the Mirage mold would be a good idea. Especially with the Velocitron Crasher coming soon.

Yes, I know. I was unaware of first partial post. Spotty wifi/phone issues. Mistakes were made...
